The Finale - In a "Project Runway" first, three All-Star finalists race against the clock to complete eight finale-worthy looks in just eight days. With the pressure mounting, all of these finalists are shining jewels, but only one will be crowned.
Enjoy the show!

I finally listened to the opening of PR and I am guessing that we have closed the book of Project Runway. Nina says "for the last time"... so is this the end of the show?
Now for the finale....8 looks in 8 days....come on... that was just foolish and the looks showed it. Both Bishme and Laurence had a couple of fillers, Brittany, not so much.
I thought they went out on a low note---like it was the rush job that it turned out to be. If it is the end of the show, it should have been with better designers and a better finale.
Disappointing overall.

Was rooting for Brittany and if not her, then Laurence. Was disappointed.

This is All-Stars. Why not give everyone more time? Because 8 looks in 8 days for a finale will generally mean shortcuts. Quite frankly, I'm amazed everyone did as well as they did considering the ridiculous time constraints.
I think everyone did well, and that everyone in the Top 3 has an audience that will support them. I would imagine that similar to Esther Perbandt from Making The Cut, Lawrence's aesthetic would be more appreciated in Europe as she has a very skilled old world approach to her tailoring that is beautiful.

Interesting, I noticed when they were visiting Christian's atelier, the garment that Billy Porter wore to the finale was hanging up behind Christian as he spoke to the three. Colorful and poufy! I have loved lots of things Bishme's done this season, but was definitely disappointed in his finale. The white and cream dresses were so boring for a runway show, that shiny black thing was horrible looking, and even the picnic print wasn't all that great. I did like his fringe looks, but those are the ones the judges said had fit problems. His last dress was big and with the artwork on it I guess they gave him lots of credit for it. All in all, I think they felt bad for him because of his sister and that gave him just the edge he needed to win. I'm happy for him, I like him a lot and think he's super talented, so the judges may have considered all his other weekly looks too when giving him the win. He's a good winner -- all three would've been. But the women were tough competition! I loved lots of Brittany's looks, and like Nina said, her styling was awesome. The designs were different and interesting. Her alternative to those pink pants that Christian talked her out of, was really cute! That black and white fabric looked amazing in the pant and the last dress -- and of course, having Mimi elevates everything to next level! Laurence's first look with the floaty sleeves was so pretty! I liked a lot of her looks too, and like the judges said, she's such a good tailor that things look so well done and expensive. The green dress to me was worse than the purple thing. I didn't care much for her last dress -- too shiny, but the skirt was pretty, and I appreciate her hard and soft efforts. I thought they might give the win to her, actually. The end did surprise me, only because of the runway show. If he had won after last week's episode I'd say sure, makes sense from what they said about him this whole season and what we saw. But these 8 looks in 8 days didn't serve him well. Oh well, it was still a great season that I enjoyed a lot. Love this show, hope it's not over for good...

I preferred Brittany's looks to Bishme's but I'm ok with him winning. Laurence hadsome nice stuff - impeccable tailoring- but I found her looks repetitive

Brittany really did do a good job. Much more diverse and interesting than I expected. I'm glad we got to see her collection. It really was too bad, though, that they only gave them eight days instead of letting them do a real collection with time to marinate.

I could totally see J-Lo wearing Brittany's collection.

I realized I never watched the finale and did today. I am shocked to say this, but I liked Brittany's the best. It was new and interesting, every look. It reminded me of Thom Browne a bit with the ribbon-like attachments. The other two didn't capture my attention like Brittany's and had some clunker looks. But if I could wear anything, it would be Laurence's leather jackets.
Agreed about the timing, I liked when Tim Gunn would go and visit the designers and talk with the family.

While I liked her looks, I hated the fact that I could see almost all of her references from stuff worn by people in street fashions on the "watching New York" instagram. My money was on Laurence until she wheeled out that clunker of a dress. It's really sad how one horrible look can bring down an entire collection.

Oh! I need to check that out. Agreed. But it's like music; a wrong note just takes you out of it.

When I watched for the first time I gasped and then said "Oh honey...no..." aloud.
