The Sound of Rusic - This season's Rusical is set high in the Swish Alps, as a young queen called Mariah goes in search of a musical outlet for her inner freak; director Adam Shankman guest judges.
A new episode of Drag Race Untucked airs right after the show on MTV.
Enjoy the show!

Adam was a fantastic director/choreographer and guest judge! The Rusical was a huge success, and I loved seeing all of the judges enjoy the performance as much as I did. Watching Melissa McCarthy being 'Melissa', was a great way to loosen up the Queens and allow them to enjoy the process. What Melissa said at the end, moved me so much. Revealing that Drag has a special place in her heart since childhood, and even helped her become who she is, was a touching disclosure. Her words spoke true and warmed hearts. I love how Sapphira graciously, and kindly stepped down from the lead battle, and took the roll of Mother Superior. For me, she stole the show! She is so talented and deserves to win this season. Plasma delivered a strong performance, well done. I do think Sapphira would have done as well in the lead, maybe even better. Sapphira's timing, and comedy is better than any other Queen there (my opinion). But, I agree that no one else could have done better than Sapphira as Mother Superior. Plasma could have delivered a bit more comedic style to her performance, but, didn't expand the role in that direction as I hoped. She gave a solid performance, just didn't knock my socks off. (Maybe I have Sapphira tunnel vision). Mhi'ya and Megami.... Mhi'ya didn't use flips in her lip sync, but still delivered an entertaining performance. She has the ability to narrate a lip sync well. Megami choose to use drama to move the song, but, it just wasn't that kind of a song to touch the heart and soul of listeners. (After watching Megami belittle Q's Baroness performance ITM, I have to say I'm disappointed they left that in the edit. It sends her off as a bitter queen, but, maybe she needed to see that now in watching the show, so that she could grow from the experience. ) To Morphine I say: It's one thing to say, I could have done a great job in that role, (after having watching another performer "shape" the role delivery). It's another thing to visualize the role, conceive, and deliver it from scratch. We can see Queens starting to line up now, contenders vs placeholders. I think the lip sync'ers in last nights episode were both placeholders from the start, so I will just say Megami!
