I tuned in a half- hour late asI hadn't realized it was starting at 7. I've only seen 2 of the nominated films, but I always enjoy the show anyway. Imo there are far too many films in the Best Picture category. I've only seen The Holdovers and Past Lives Hoping for a Paul Giamatti win.

I thought it started at 4:30, so I tuned in late and just in time for the first award. Perfect timing!
Chris Nolan just won. I have my fingers crossed for Lily Gladstone!

I haven't seen Poor Things. I was cheering for Lily Gladstone, she was wonderful in Killers of the Flower Moon. Cillian Murphy, I've loved since Peaky Blinders. It started at 5.00pm here, I thought it was a great time.

While I enjoyed Emma in Poor Things I was rooting for either Lily or Sandra to win, and was deeply disappointed. Emma has already won an Oscar not too long ago too. Ugh.

This is Cord Jefferson, the winner of the Best Adapted Screenplay award, American Fiction. I'm adding his press room clip because I love the message he is conveying. He is right. I cannot wait to see the film.

Good question! I was a bit confused when he presented and felt like I missed something. Jodie Foster was there, why not her if they wanted to go with a legend? They stated in the introduction of him that he was presenting to honor the 50th Anniversary of Godfather II. It was a bit of a mess, warmed over. Not mention the comment about how he was able to get a babysitter to attend.. sigh..

Yes, I heard that later and probably didn't pay attention when they said that. What about Diane Keaton? She was in the movies.
