Just when I was beginning to soften up about Plane for her conscious growth, she seemed to spiral a little over the teasing dished out (that she was in the bottom last week). (Personally, I didn't think that she was in the bottom. I also think teasing is mean spirited behavior. Trying to make someone else look smaller than you is never a good look.) But, she "lost it" retaliating over Dawn's look in the remaining scene from Untucked. Although we saw a hint of it in commercials last week. I loved the pairings this week. Ru knew that some relationships needed blending. Outspoken Dawn with shy Mhi'ya, Q and Plane (there's a lot there). Even Joel Kim Booster noticed the tension, but they blended beautifully for the performance, and were actually my favorite act. I thought the runway looks were great, except for Dawn (who received a pass because she is Dawn). She is unique. Morphine's look was normal, Mhi'ya challenge was a flop, so they all knew who was going to lip sync. I think Morphine's cape turnaround was great, and she deserved that win. I was surprised by Q's disappointment over not making top 2. I was crying when she opened up about HIV, (we have a dear friend who after many years of having an undetectable titer, was deemed cured; so I know how significant her words were). But, the look on her face and demeanor was sad. I am glad that she received that loving message from her husband, hope she shakes off the funk.
Well done Sapphira!

I cried too. And she is right about having more diversity and representation in health care from the community.
I was surprised by Q's reaction as well. Don't come for my girl Sapphira.
