Is anyone else watching? I had my doubts about a whole show starring Elsbeth - she's A LOT - but after two episodes, I'm hooked (I was hooked after one episode). It's got the same feel as The Good Wife and The Good Fight (especially the latter) with lots of fun guest stars. So far, they've had Stephen Moyer (in a fun True Blood reunion!), Jane Krakowski and Linda Lavin.

I'm watching. . . sort of. I've just seen one episode and, yeah, she IS a lot. But it's cute and quirky, and a little bit clever, so I'm up for trying the next episode. PS I do love a who-dunnit in which the audience knows who did it, and we get to watch the characters try to figure it out!

I love this new series! She is quirky, smart, one step ahead of the police. Well, often several steps ahead. My only problem is I like Captain Wagner (Wendell Pierce), and am not sure I trust the guy she keeps reporting too. I keep hoping the Captain is a good guy. I was hooked from the first show, just like you Critical. I wish it followed Ghosts instead of So Help Me Todd.

I adored her on the Good Wife and the Good Fight. I love Carrie too, since True Blood in fact. She has such a range as an actress Elsbeth is a far cry from Arlene on TB. Kaya and Elsbeth have such a great chemistry too.
My dad feels it is too much like a female Columbo, I just poo poo him and tell him to enjoy all the 'much' Elsbeth brings.

"A female Columbo" is actually a great compliment in my book. It's also kind of accurate, in the best way.

I'm still chuckling about how the plastic surgery recovery center in last week's episode had suites named for Italian cities so you could tell people you spent two weeks in Florence The gimmick of revealing the killer at the beginning feels like that Canadian show, Motive, that aired on (I think) NBC a while back. I like it. They continue to get great guest stars. I keep hoping Matt Czuchry will show up. I got a little excited when someone name dropped Cary Agos earlier in the season!

I knew the chief wasn’t a bad guy. That other guy is slimy, jealous the chief got the promotion and has probably framed him.

I just knew they wouldn't let Wendell Pierce play a bad guy! That scene in the dance studio with Keegan Michael Key and Carrie Preston was so much fun! I don't know that it necessarily went along with his character, in particular, but I loved it. It felt like something that came organically during filming.

I am liking this show too. And now I won't be able to watch it without thinking she is a "female Columbo"! LOL
