Rise or Fall - The remaining home cooks pair up for a skills test to create a restaurant-quality dish featuring five ingredients. The chefs who fail to impress the judges will face an elimination challenge and create the ever-challenging cheese soufflé in just 40 minutes.
Enjoy the show!

To my view, the cheese souffles were all too runny in the center. There were some nice rises, but, oh my. The first few ingredient challenge where the mighty three showed off their work was a challenge - especially the corn gritty meal. Most made it into a creamy polenta, but the team including the guy who was chopped coated the chicken and fried it - way too crunchy.

I watched it since it was cooking and not catering, but I have to watch it with the CC on so I don't hear GR's voice telling people who are running around to "Speed up". I missed the rational behind working in teams of two when there were 15 people. Was it to reward the person who nobody wanted to work with by giving him Joe and an automatic trip upstairs??

Last on the playground pick got safety plus cooking with his mentor.

Aw, I liked Ryan. But guys, you can't fry course cornmeal like that. Gordon sounded like he was eating potato chips. Several of those souffles looked terrible. Runny and oozing over the sides...I'd hate to see the ones they didn't think were presentable!

Happy that the 19 year old did well...he seems so earnest!

He is the kind of person that this show can help immeasurably. At 19, being just a dishwasher, he had no cache to get into a kitchen to learn. Now, with this experience under his belt, he may get a chance.....and that could change the trajectory of his life. It has happened to a number of other people with these chefs inviting someone who has not won to come to them to learn.
