Project Runway Brazil Season 1 (Winner)
After winning “Project Runway Brazil” in 2011, Cynthia secured investments and started her own brand called CYN and began living the dream – selling to more than 150 stores in Brazil and 18 stores abroad. A year later in 2012, she was forced to close her brand, but in the spirit of never giving up, Cynthia and her partner began producing for other labels and they currently produce about 1500 pieces for other high-end Brazilian brands.
Cynthia describes her aesthetic as minimal – she prefers a clean look and enjoys new shapes and textures but the most important thing for her is that the design celebrates the beauty of a woman. Cynthia admires designers Alexander McQueen and is in love with Stella McCartney, Diane Von Furstenberg and Rocksanda.
Cynthia is beyond excited to join this season of “All Stars,” but admits the competition will be tough. She hopes to make it all the way to the end and get out with a renewed soul, full of new desires.
