per Google:
A lot of fun. This is how Autobot's should be represented. You can see the characters and feel them emote. So glad there was no stupid luv interest with the main character, instead this was more of a coming of age film and a nod to the movies of the 80's. Bit of an inside joke about the internet, but it is easy to miss.

This is not a Michael Bay directed film although he is listed as a producer. The film is a fresh start as to the tone, style and direction the Transformers franchise is going. So fans of the other movies will complain about details not matching. I say boo hoo, franchises reboot all the time and cannon is changed, just go with the flow and enjoy.

I've heard good things about this movie and nice to see that Bay isn't the director and that it's not quite as long as some of the Transformers movies. I thought some of the Transformers movies were terrible to be honest.

I've heard good things about this movie and nice to see that Bay isn't the director and that it's not quite as long as some of the Transformers movies. I thought some of the Transformers movies were terrible to be honest. I did too. It was fun to read viewers reviews and them complaining about how the Bumblebee movie did not keep to all the "historical" facts that were in the Michael Bay films and I just started to shake my head. Folks it's a movie. Considering the Transformers cartoon and later films were based on a marketing concept for toy cars for kids. per wiki:
