Big cliffhanger! I'm guessing Hal is going to break it off with Kaitlin, now that he's suddenly showing up at the villa. He thinks he's found his soulmate (and the tempter girl does too). Kaitlin's message was the one that surprised me the most: she really wanted him back! I don't like the newer guy that's she's been interested in, so between that guy and Hal I'm thinking this woman just has terrible taste in men!  I'm glad Robert told Vanessa their relationship was toxic, because it sure is! He better not get back together with her, or I'll be so disappointed in him. Her message to him was again bossy, condescending, putting everything on him and she owns no responsibility. Oh but when the tempter said what a great guy he was, THEN Vanessa took credit. I think she's horrible, and if he goes back to her, he's going to be miserable again and deserve it, since now he knows the difference. Man up! Great is such a loser. Tami is so embarrassing to watch, the way she throws herself at him. Nafeesah should've just cut it off and not given him any more chances. Then his message to Paris and hers to him, were extremely confusing! They don't understand what's happened, how it's gotten this way? Wow. He said something like he only hooked up with the one person, not all of them -- and that's okay?? She's been wilding it up over at her villa, too. So weird. Paris and Marisela were quite the pair there, going at it, and Marisela's guy seemed to really enjoy it I guess. Then she says she and this guy have been physical but not having sex, even though we've seen them nude and going into the shower, etc. So, yeah, what exactly does the temptation light mean?? |

I think that creep Hal is going to try to convince Kaitlin that he ~really loves her~ and to leave the island with him right now, and I hope she's smart enough not to fall for it. The tempter is super eager and down for whatever he's putting out, but that's not the point with a man like this.

Just watched this week's episode and all I have to say is thank goodness for sisterhood, because poor Kaitlin. Hal's a terrible, terrible person. How do you look someone in the eye and tell them you never had an emotional connection with them after 8 years and dump them for some strange they just met two weeks ago?
In other news, a anon person posted on Reddit that Great interviewed at their job a few months before this season was shot and said that he and "a girl he was talking to" were going on Temptation Island pretending to be a couple. If true, it explains so much!

Apparently it was to get on TV and get a free vacation Navybelle . Which, okay...but why spill the beans at a job interview? 
Also, how "very" of Hall to be super upset with Kaitlin saying on the tape that he was selfish after he told her he never had an emotional connection with her. That man essentially wasted eight years of this woman's life where she could have been with someone who really cared about her.

Poor Kaitlin. Hall is a love bomber. Loved seeing the women rally around her and I just love Vanessa. Her reaction was so heartfelt.
I can't wait for the reunion. I'm dying to know if Hall and Makayla (ugh) are still together. I had hope for her, but she's horrible too.
Oh, Hall reminds me of Brooks - Vicky Gundelson's old flame on RHOC. I bet Hall gifts cheesy Hallmark cards as well.

Didn't comment on last week's episode because it was the overnight visits with a whole LOT of overinvestment from some of the temptresses. The tempters who weren't invited on an overnight had to leave the villas, and I thought it was pretty telling that one of the leaving temptresses said that while she was happy for everyone, she wished that certain people would look at the motivations of others. Burn, as she could be referring to a few people in that house, lol.
This week was Part One of the final bonfire, and first up was Marisol and Chris and all things considered, it went well. Chris basically said that while he loved her, at the end of the day he just wanted her to be happy. Marisol talked about how she had no self confidence and low self esteem before coming and the whole experience allowed her to grow, love herself, and at the end of the day pursue the things that made her happy. Wanting to continue the love and sense of self she found on the island, Marisol opted to leave alone. Chris opted to leave the Island with Alexius, which surprises no one, but ultimately everyone is happy with the outcome.
Vanessa and Roberto are next, and to be honest out of all the original couples I kinda root for them because despite their troubles they seem to genuinely love each other. Both seemed to use their time on the island as personal growth, and during the bonfire both of them talked about how they saw the things they did wrong in the relationship before and how they wanted to do better for themselves and for each other. All seemed to be well until Vanessa asked Roberto did he sleep in the same bed as a temptress. When he said yes, Vanessa literally shot out of her chair like a rocket was shoved in her nether regions and started shrieking and screaming like a banshee at Roberto. It was a little scary, and quite frankly kinda impressive? I mean, she went FULL VOODOO on him and I have NEVER seen someone go off like that on this show, lol.
Of course, the show ends on that scene. I really hope she calmed down eventually because poor Roberto didn't have sex with that girl; in fact, he made a point not to. Mess.

I root for them too!
I thought the conversation Marisol and Chris had was really healthy and mature. She honestly looks like a different person and I'm glad she left solo. Do that work, Marisol!
I was so proud of Vanessa for listening and not flying off the handle....until she flew off the handle. Ugh. I hope she reins it in because I think they both want to be together, but he's a little scared of her. I don't blame him. Didn't she sleep in the same bed as beard face? The temper she has is really unhealthy for her and others. I know it comes from a place of, what looks like, intense hurt, but she is just making it worse. I love her.
Also, can't wait to see Hall's bonfire, and I hope she throws him in it. Along with that dumb temptress.

Bonfire: Part 2
Vanessa calms down long enough for Roberto to assure her that he did not sleep with anyone, nor would he be talking to that person in the future. Vanessa cried (which made me feel bad for her). Both of them reassured each other that they still loved them, and they leave the house together.
Next up is Paris and Great. Paris looked fabulous with a short haircut dyed platinum, while Great was...Great. They bickered a bit about who slept with whom, then ultimately decided to leave the Island with their tempters; Paris with Tarjic, and Great with Nafeesa. You could totally tell they were friends with benefits acting like a couple to get a free vacation, and you know what? I'm not mad at them because this show is kinda exploitive anyway, lol.
Finally, it's Hall and Kaitlin and I really got the impression that Hall is trying really hard (and failing) not to be seen as "the bad guy." Kaitlin let his ass HAVE IT and pretty much said what we're all thinking, that he came back to her and proposed even though he wasn't feeling it, that he was a selfish person, and that he ultimately wasted her time. While she made a connection with that guy on the island Kaitlin opted to leave alone, and when Mark asked her if she had anything else to say to Hall she was like "Nope" and pooched, leaving an open mouthed Hall (who stood up and was obviously expecting a hug or something) looking stupid. Hall, of course, opted to leave the Island with What'sherface.
But WAIT! There's more because there's a reunion special and I'm going to watch later (and report back) to savor with some....adult refreshments because based on the previews there is a LOT going on and a hot mess including:
- Paris apparently getting ghosted by Tarjic a month after they left the island
- someone getting pregnant and the dude pulling a "I am NOT the father."
- Vanessa watching a clip of Roberto having some chick riding him in bed and losing her mind
- Kaitlin going OFF on that dumb Temptress for telling her it was her fault she lost Hall because she brought him on the Island

Watched the Reunion and still digesting it. OMG, ya'll, but when Great of all people turns out to be the only guy that comes off as being a halfway decent human being....wow.

I can't believe that I thought Hall was the worst, but then Christopher was all, 'hold my beer'. I felt so badly for Alexis, I mean, asking if he was really the father. What complete trash.
Not shocked that Hall and dumb are still together; both are idiots. I hope Kaitlin took the dog. How dare he ask her what she has done for him.
And Vanessa. I just love that woman. She didn't yell at the tempttress, she was very respectful, and everyone was waiting for her to blow up. And she could have; that was a well-deserved blow-up. But instead, she just cried. That's what all that anger is about. Just hurt.

I think the male tempters were right on the mark calling Christopher narcissistic because goodness. He's toxic to any woman he gets near. Narcissists want to take everything from you while bringing absolutely nothing to the table; what is he offering these women? He's also hypocritical because he got mad at Marisol talking to his dad while he had no problems calling her family members to put her down. That doesn't even count the terrible way he treated Alexis. This gross man offers absolutely nothing to nobody, toss him in the trash. I thought no one could make Hall look worse, but damn.
Speaking of bad, Roberto definitely turned out to be a dark horse. Shame on him for lying to Vanessa about sleeping with that girl so she would leave the island with him. To give her credit, Vanessa not only didn't melt down, she also empathized with the crappy situation the temptress was left in because he basically used her and pooched.
Hall seemed like he wanted to rub more crap in Kaitlin's face by asking whatsherface to move in with him while they were on the panel. She recently posted "love conquers all" with a picture of her and Hall on Instagram, and all I have to say is "good luck with that, gurl." Finding out that Kaitlin was Hall's first GF made everything he did make more sense because he's a selfish mess who basically wasted years of that woman's life because he didn't want to be alone. I felt bad that Taijie completely ghosted Paris once the show was over, I mean, could you make it a little less obvious you were in it for the screen time? So much bad decisions made on this show, including people rawdogging it; couldn't they supply condoms? Compared to the others Great ended up looking, well... great, and he was very dapper in his Nigerian garb.

Loved that Vanessa asked about the protection. But it totally punched me in the gut. They should do a sexual education course before they get on that island.

Ugh, I couldn't stand Hall's girlfriend! She was way too righteous and snotty at the reunion. Yeah, hope they stay together forever, so they won't bother anyone else with their messes. Hall kept getting so defensive, and lashing out. It was such a bad look, and Kaitlin is so much better off without him.
Why on earth would Robert think that the show wouldn't air his sex scene, when they did everyone else's, and after he went and lied about it? That was stupid. He came off very badly at this reunion. I used to feel sorry for him and kind of give him a break for being young and in a bad relationship, but then he made way too many mistakes and now I don't feel bad at all for him. Vanessa did handle herself very well at the reunion, and I admit to being very surprised. She was hurt, but didn't lose control, then also acknowledged how terrible she was to him in their relationship. I give her a lot of credit.
Marisela gets no credit at all, though, sending that jerk some nude texts and having sex with him after everything. Not sure when she was pregnant, but when it came out that 3 women were pregnant by that guy, I was disgusted. He's horrible. The whole thing about her contacting his dad, him contacting her family, was confusing and messy -- they both have big issues. Poor Alexius likely had no idea it was going to be such a disaster. She has spoken more about the end of her pregnancy, if any one is interested, on YouTube (and TikTok too I think). Marisela better stay far, far away from that guy. I hope she's smarter than she's come across so far.
