Is Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills In Trouble? Rumors Surface About Dull Storylines And No Drama
by Allisun, Reality Tea, November 6th, 2019 Let’s discuss Real Housewives of Beverly Hills! Now filming it’s 10th season, the cast is up two new ladies and down one star. According to ancient scrolls, #puppygate was the smokescreen created to avoid discussing “sensitive legal matters”. Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards both have husbands in hot water. They were also heavily involved with perpetuating the agonizing puppygate storyline. Coincidence? The scandal saw Lisa Vanderpump effectively giving the finger to her co-stars and the show, after being blamed for Dorit’s blunder with basic animal care. Despite LVP’s departure, the sun has risen again on RHOBH. Or has it? Viewers hoping to get a taste of Mauricio Umansky’s multi-million dollar fraud lawsuit, will probably remain hungry. Those with a thirst for seeing PK Kemsley give Dorit condolences for her dead checking account, will most likely remain parched. So what will the ladies do to fill the time and keep us interested? The answer might be, nothing at all. Is Karma giving the side-eye to RHOBH? It appears everyone is getting along Kumbaya-style, even though Erika Jayne, Kyle, and Dorit are trying to keep their financial battles under wraps. Maybe they are getting along a little too well. The mean streets of Beverly Hills are talking, and the rumor mill says something might be amiss in Encino. According to The Showbiz CheatSheet, some heads may be on the chopping block. Why, you ask? NO DRAMA. The article states, “Execs have viewed scenes from the new season and their first impression is that the footage appeared very bland. Not only is there hardly any confrontation between the cast, but all of the ladies are getting along just great.” Yeah, because they all have dirt on each other at this point. Mum’s the word! An insider shared, “There is no big tension, no central storyline, no central conflict, just some petty spats. There is a void.” The source hints that Bravo has advised the ladies to turn the heat up or be prepared to lose a diamond. Here’s where it gets interesting, it looks like it will all come down to Lisa Rinna and Kyle to save the ship from sinking. This could be an important move for Rinna, the bigwigs might be grooming her for a takeover. A takeover of Kyle, that is. Rinna could very well swoop in, go up against Kyle’s new bangs, and finally get that fan base. Not because Rinna is particularly endearing, but viewer love for Kyle dwindled in the fallout of kicking LVP to the curb #puppygate. Since Rinna has two friends joining the crew this year, Kyle could find herself in a power struggle when if things get nasty. And if you thought Bravo was going to let LVP go gentle into that good night, you would be wrong. “Instead, producers are using flashbacks to keep her [Lisa Vanderpump] on the show, though it is not clear how the footage will be used. Current cast members are also expected to mention Vanderpump in testimonials.” I mean, you know they would anyway. What else would the ladies talk about? THEIR LIVES? Friends of Rinna, okay, we'll see. Scrawny beyotch needs to talk about someone..

It's reasonable to assume that Bravo and production realize what a bunch of duds and losers they're stuck with and desperately want LVP back. Don't know much about the new girls but we know the remaining cast members are grifters and/or liars.

Don't know much about the new girls but we know the remaining cast members are grifters and/or liars. I have a feeling that if Bravo came calling, LVP would find a way to let the world know. So I'm going to go with that as evidence that they don't actually want her back. As I said, last year a large part of the audience rebelled against a single drama, single storyline. So they are likely tickled pink (see what I did there) with what they are getting this time.

EJ is well, boring as hell, so who is left? Camille I don't mind she is TV gold. Poor Kyle , doesn't get to wear the bloody crown after all

Aww that makes me sad. And it's no wonder girls (in general) have eating disorders. I think her children are beautiful.

The Hamlets? I recall them being very ( very)rude to their father, we complain when little ones are, but these two should know better. They are ordinary looking girls, certainly nothing special. If you don't want your family mentioned, keep them off the TV.As if Rinna could do that..lol.

Pretty good piece that attempts to explain LVP's immense successes and popularity. The reigning queen of American reality TVBy Ian Rose, BBC Business producer, 11 November 2019 Lisa Vanderpump says she has appeared in more reality TV programmes than anyone else. She could very well be correct, having more than 340 episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills, and her own spin-off programme Vanderpump Rules, under her designer belt. While many people outside of the US may not be aware of her, the two shows often vie with each other to be the top-rated cable television programme on the day they go out. Their success has made Lisa one of the biggest British stars to have cracked the American market. But at the same time as her TV commitments - often at exactly the same time - the 58-year-old and her husband Ken Todd, 74, run a restaurants and property empire. She is reportedly worth $75m (£58m). When I ask her if that is true, she laughs and says: "I certainly hope so!" Born in London in 1960, Lisa's unusual surname is her real birth one, and Dutch in origin. She and her husband have amassed their fortune over the past 37 years. They met in London in 1982 when she was 21, and he was 37. She was an actress, and he was a nightclub owner. Within six weeks they were engaged, and in under three months they were married. Soon the newlyweds were buying and selling London homes, before they opened several high profile restaurants and bars around the Soho area of the UK capital. These included some of the most prominent London gay bars of the 1990s. Since then they have sold the initial London venues, and they now primarily operate a chain of restaurants and bars in California and Nevada. They moved permanently to Los Angeles from the UK in 2005. Lisa was thrust into the limelight when the Real Housewives of Beverley Hills first aired in the US in 2010. She has since gained a vast social media presence, with 1.8 million followers on Twitter, and 2.4 million on Instagram. "I've been on The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills for nine years," she says. "Twitter and all that social media, was exploding at the time I came to the forefront, and I think that changed everything." While Reality TV is full of stars promoting products, few have taken it as far as Lisa. For example, one of her restaurants - Sur - was launched in one of the most dramatic episodes of The Real Housewives. The entire seven series of the spin-off show Vanderpump Rules are set at the restaurant, and follow the comings and goings of its famously good-looking young bar staff and waiters. It is product placement to the maximum. Customers who go to Sur are interacting with the characters whose personal lives they have followed every week on TV. Madeline Berg, a media writer at Forbes magazine who follows the fortunes of reality TV stars, says this is a fusion of entertainment and commerce akin to the Disney theme parks. She puts Lisa's success down to her having had a long business career before joining the reality TV programmes, Ms Berg says this means that Sur, and Lisa's other televised business ventures come across as authentic."You can tell when someone really believes in something rather than doing an endorsement for a few thousand bucks," says Ms Berg. Lisa puts forward the same argument. "For me the product has to be good," she says. "If I'm suddenly going to say 'oh look, here I am, and I'm developing a swimming pool cleaner', everyone's going to say it's rubbish." She says that the restaurant sector is a tough one to be successful in, and she ensures that her staff are always as friendly and welcome as possible. "You must always put a smile on your face in the hospitality industry, you must always be kind and generous," she says. Lisa and Ken now own four restaurants in Los Angeles, and she says that having an attention to detail is also key. "I can go in [to a venue] and spot something straight away if it is not right," she says. "I might turn the music up just a notch, or turn the lights down." In recent years the Vanderpump empire - which is now very much a family affair - has expanded into new areas. Their daughter Pandora and her husband Jason - whose courtship and marriage featured in the Real Housewives of Beverley Hills - look after a line of Vanderpump rosé wine. And Lisa also runs a pet accessories business. Her love of dogs is, in fact, a regular feature in the TV programmes and her life in general. She runs a charity called the Vanderpump Dog Foundation, which works to rescue stray dogs in the Los Angeles area and get them re-homed, and campaigns globally against cruelty to dogs. Lisa is a prominent campaigner against the Yulin dog meat festival in China. To help raise money for the foundation she organises an annual gala. She also uses her fame to campaign for gay rights, and to raise more awareness of the risk of suicide. Her older brother took his own life in 2018. After nine years on Real Housewives, Lisa won't be returning for season 10, which starts in 2020. This led to much press speculation that some of the other women on the show were jealous of her popularity, and specifically that of her spin-off show. "I think the success of Vanderpump Rules stimulated a lot of feelings," she says. "And sometimes being voted the most popular housewife creates feelings." When asked about one of the other housewives describing being friends with her as like playing chess against late grandmaster Bobby Fischer, she replies: "Am I smart? Well I hope so, but I don't think strategically with friends." www.bbc.com/news/amp/business-50318330

Lisa Vanderpump Reveals the Final Straw That Led to Her RHOBH Exit and Throws Shade at the Cast, Plus Dishes on the ‘Fantastic’ New Season of Vanderpump RulesBy Lindsay Cronin, 7 hours ago Why did Lisa Vanderpump leave The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when she did? During a recent appearance on Access Daily with hosts Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover, Lisa revealed why she left the show in June after season nine, threw some shade at her former co-stars, and opened up about the upcoming eighth season of her spinoff series, Vanderpump Rules. “It was a very sad year for me with losing my brother and everything. I was very honest about that and struggling with depression,” Lisa explained of the moments leading up to her exit from RHOBH. According to Lisa, she began filming Vanderpump Rules‘ seventh season just two days after her brother’s funeral, but when it came to RHOBH, she didn’t feel that she should participate in season nine. Sadly, as the season played out with claims of leaking stories aimed at her, it became more and more evident that Lisa shouldn’t have gotten involved. “It was very difficult, the whole situation. [They] all started coming at me and it was all based around the whole dog fiasco. It got too b*tchy and I just suddenly thought, ‘That’s it, I’m done,'” Lisa recalled, confirming it was the Puppygate drama that caused her to leave RHOBH. “I had so much going on. I was opening TomTom, Vanderpump Rules is a big show, we have the dog rescue center, we were opening in Vegas. There was just so much and when it all kind of piled on top of me, and I was emotionally depleted anyway, I just said, ‘You know what? I’m done,'” she continued. After being accused of planting a story in the media that accused Dorit Kemsley of abandoning an animal she adopted from Vanderpump Dogs, Lisa left the show and quit watching the new episodes. “I tried to kind of remove myself and detach myself from it,” she explained. As for the cast’s reaction to her exit, Lisa slammed the other ladies for acting “aggressive” about her decision. When asked who she would be keeping in touch with, Lisa refused to give an answer. “Moving on!” she stated. As the interview continued, Lisa turned her attention to Pump Rules season eight. “It’s a very fast-moving show as you see from the trailer and it’s unbelievable that it came from a little idea and it’s eight seasons in,” she said. “You see them grow up, and then some of them struggle to grow up.” “It’s fantastic. It’s a great season,” Lisa added. Vanderpump Rules season eight premieres January 7 at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV. realityblurb.com/2019/11/12/lisa-vanderpump-reveals-the-final-straw-that-led-to-her-rhobh-exit-and-throws-shade-at-the-cast-plus-dishes-on-the-fantastic-new-season-of-vanderpump-rules/

Brandi Glanville & Kim Richards Spotted Filming Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Season 10 Excerpt: "According to HollywoodLife, Kim and Brandi, along with Eileen Davidson have all been seen filming for the show. But that’s not all, we can’t have the return of surgically enhanced old faces without the Morally Corrupt Faye Resnick! Video clips from a par-tay have been circulating that were filmed for the new season. It is safe to say no one was discussing the finer points of aerospace engineering at this festive gathering."

Is it wise for a writer for RealityTea to be mocking the intellect of Real Housewives? I mean, the New York Time and Washington Post exist as newspapers who employee great reporters, and the person who wrote this is not working for either of them! It doesn't surprise me - this is being written for fans of reality TV shows and there is certainly a segment of people who choose to watch these shows in an attempt to feel good thinking they are better than the people who are on the shows. But I think that's a sad way to find self esteem.

Sober housewives are boring housewives. I can only watch so much shopping and selecting ice cube shapes for remodels - that stuff is more interesting when HGTV produces it. My favorite part of last season of Beverly Hills was the camping trip where the got silly drunk and just had fun being together.

If only we could get Paul as a housewife When Adrienne was a housewife, I think I may have enjoyed Paul even more than I did her. The first season, I liked the way they bickered and played off each other. As their marriage went south and the bickering got more cruel, it was not as fun to watch. But I really enjoyed them in the old days. Hasn't Paul remarried? If so, maybe they should cast his new wife on the show! As for Brandi - I have to give her credit, she's clearly built a better life for herself than she was a few years ago. After all, the tampon string thing was years ago, so if that's still being brought up as a tool to blast her, she's obviously been living pretty damn well since then!
