Vanderpump Rules

I was surprised they aired the discussions/mentions of the cast mixing drugs and alcohol this season. I haven't watched all of the seasons, so maybe this is the norm.

LaLa reminds me of Erika Jayne too much.
Not at all a fan and I do think she's overly dramatic and trashy.

I think that for right now, Jax has changed in recognizing that he can't talk to Britney by cutting her down all the time and expect others to think that's okay. After his dad died, I think he saw the value in having him in her life and the ways she takes care of him. That being said, the way he was cutting down and attacking other people - primarily women - during the reunion shows me he hasn't changed. He's just discovered he has to say nice things to build Britney up. So I don't think it will take long at all before he falls back into the habits of cutting her down too ... he'll just try to fix it with some compliments. I think he'll end up marrying Britney because Britney wants marriage and children and isn't willing to put the work into building that with someone new. I think Britney also wants to think she's the one who "tamed" Jax. The producers will want a wedding planning storyline and she'll give it to them.
On Schwartz - he worked at Sur with the rest of them prior to Tom Tom, as well as doing a little modelling like Sandoval.

I think Jax will never find a woman who he's truly interested in, because I think he's got an issue with respecting women. It's not a matter of Britney caring about things he's not interested in - he just views women as sperm receptacles. This worked just fine for most of his life while he and his friends were hooking up with women and the contest was to see who could get more women. But now the guys who he cares about and respects as friends are settling into serious relationships with women who are each of their primary concerns. Jax is the one who is left out, and he's not sure how to have that in his life with a self-respecting woman who he will treat as an equal. He doesn't see women as equals which creates a huge problem. So instead he settles for Britney who will settle for not being treated as an equal.

I was hot and cold with Lisa last night in the way she was running things. After Lala walked off, I laughed at the way that Lisa first got mad that they were all walking off, and then walked off herself for the same reason that Katie and Arianna had walked off - to get the others. With Lala I liked the way she was encouraging her to speak up and be honest with James, but I thought she laid it on a bit thick making Stassi trade seats with her so she could "support" Lala.

Lisa does support these kids..she knows a lot more than we do.

[Shaking my head. . .] I just finished watching part 3 of the Vanderpump Rules Reunion shows, and all I can say is these people are really living in their own world. Not to mention delusional, crazy, narcissistic, unrealistic, etc. etc. etc.
And yet, for some reason I LOVE this show! 

This show is the gift that keeps on giving!

I think some of that is Carter, but some of it is also Kristen just growing up. To me, that's one of the funny things about the reality of doing this show for as long as they have - the show started out portraying a group of kids in their 20s trying to figure things out and make enough money to survive their lifestyles in LA. Now, they are growing up, making A LOT more money because of the show, but still having to give an appearance of working hard to make it being young and dumb so that the show is good. I give many of them credit in their 'acting" because they pull off the illusion.

well of course they are. That's why they're on a TV show designed to entertain us! If they were "normal" people without this crazy drama nobody would watch.
