I have no doubt this kid is in a horrible situation with his dad, but sometimes it’s just better to take a different path than we want. $65,000 is A LOT of money for one year of school, and then taking out a loan for the remaining years, he’s setting himself up for so much debt at such a young age. Sad situation.

I had to go see what college this was that was charging $65,000 a year BUT its actually $35,000/year (from the article) and that is the norm today and has been for quite some time. My younger son was accepted to Fairfield University in CT but chose a different (just as costly) college and this was in 2004 and yes it was costly BACK THEN. BUT as far as the whole article .... how horribly sad for this young man that his father is treating him this way. GEEZ its almost 2020 and I just don't understand people today and their prejudices.

Exactly!! And you'd think as a parent you wouldn't judge your own child like that...regardless he's your son!

Joe Giudice asks to be sent back to Italy as he awaits deportation decisionJoe Giudice is ready to go back to Italy — for now. As he awaits a decision on whether he’ll be deported to his native country, Teresa Giudice‘s husband has asked the court to release him from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody and send him to Italy, according to court documents obtained by Page Six on Tuesday. James J. Leonard Jr., the family’s attorney, certified in a separate document that Joe, who has been staying in a detention center in the US since his release from prison earlier this year, “believes that his continued detention would create an extreme hardship on his family and he wishes to be released so that [he] can begin working and contributing financially to his wife and four young children.” Joe, 47, “will urge that USICE should facilitate his return to the United States” should a judge rule that he should not have been deported. The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars both pleaded guilty to fraud charges in 2014. Teresa served just under a year in prison in 2015 and Joe checked himself in for his sentence in 2016. He appealed his deportation order then and was released from prison and into ICE custody this March as a judge has yet to rule his fate. A judge first denied his motion to be released on bond last week. Teresa, 47, did not mention his desire to go to Italy this weekend but did call the judge’s latest motion to keep him in ICE custody a “sad time” for the couple and their four daughters, Gia, 18, Gabriella, 14, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10. It is unclear when a judge will order him back.

I'm glad the two new wives from last season are back. I thought Theresa might try to pressure Bravo to get rid of them. I don't know if she has that much influence, but she acts like she does at the reunions.

My brain is tired from watching the WWHL interview with Teresa and Joe. They are both really good at talking in circles and not answering questions directly. Bravo will be with Teresa when she goes to Italy to see Joe.

Hmmm...Joe had a lot of nasty things to say about ICE when it had to do with him but still found time to talk crap about undocumented (and non-White) immigrants. At least they don't steal money and commit fraud, Joe. I'm glad this racist garbage bag got deported.

Teresa seemed like the marriage was already over. I can't believe she accuse Carolin Manzo of calling the feds on her and Joe. Bravo and the couple are milking this. I don't know when the special will air that follows Teresa to Italy to see Joe.

I required a couple of breaks to get through it, but I finally watched the full interview with Joe and Teresa.
I think Andy did a pretty good job as his one on one interviews go. He did the best he could to keep them focused. He was friendly to them, but also kept them in line at times, would circle back to questions when they got distracted and seemed to go after the info that viewers wanted to know.
I think Joe has learned more and accepted more responsibility for what they did than Teresa has. I would not say he's totally reformed and a model citizen, but I do think the experience, especially the ICE part, humbled him. I think that he's gone from viewing Teresa as a wife who kept him fed and kept his house in order and would look the other way while he did whatever the hell he wanted to a man who views her more like a little sister than wife. I think he's got some love for her, but it's the "you know all my history" kind of love rather than a romantic love of a committed husband. I thought it was interesting that he talked about working to live somewhere that was a shorter flight to visit his girls. He understands what he's lost in his children. When things get settled, I think he'll no doubt find a way to move to Canada or an island country so he can find a new wife who will take care of all his needs and a way to spend time with his daughters.
I think that Teresa has never been able to get passed the anger of losing time with her mom at the end of her life. I think that's the event that crossed her from supporting Joe and believing they get screwed to being angry and blaming him. She realized while he was gone that life could be a lot of fun, and now she's just biding her time until she can file for divorce and do it in a way that presents herself as mom of the year.
I really did not like the way that Teresa put so much of this on their daughters. It did not surprise me, but I cringed when she talked about Gia giving her marriage advice. Gia should be allowed to be a daughter facing a tough time with her parents apart and their future uncertain ... not a confidant to her mom. I also cringed when Teresa explained she would not move to Italy because of her daughters. Lets be honest Teresa won't move to Italy because she loves being a TV star and does not want to give it up. So she should not make her daughters go through life believing they contributed to the demise of their parents marriage. They didn't - and it should not be put on them.

At least they don't steal money and commit fraud, Joe. I'm glad this racist garbage bag got deported. I am no fan of the Giudices, but I don't see how "racist garbage" applies in that I didn't hear him make any racist comments and certainly Andy would have countered had he done so. What I got out of it is that Joe's considers his ICE detention is that the lodgings are tighter (8 cellmates) and unnecessarily more restrictive that wouldn't work out well for him which had to do with his decision to depart of Italy. As an example, he said he was never put in the "shoe" during his time in the federal prison, but during his short time at the ICE facility he spent a week in solitary for opening some sort of metal window in the gym for air, even though the window had bars that would prevent anyone from escaping.
