For once I actually like all the singers left, but would prefer Maddie to win. Her songwriting and overall music tastes mimic mine. They've really rushed this season. Oh well.

I don't know how to characterize Gabby's original single. Started out country then sort of took a gospel turn.

Gabby is killing Journey's Don't Stop Believing, and NOT in a good way.
Can someone give me a brief summary of her story? I missed the 1st few shows of the season.

All I remember is that she is from Oklahoma and idolizes Carrie.

Don't know about her story but I agree with your opinion on her Don't Stop Believing. I wanted to tell her to stand up straight.

All I remember is that she is from Oklahoma and idolizes Carrie. Ariel, Gabby is from Pittsburgh PA. I meant she has referenced her dad a lot and the sacrifices he has made. He lost his job , etc. Are her folks divorced? Just interested in her back story.

Oh...okay - she is the one whose Dad worked multiple jobs. Sorry, I'll look her up and see what I find. Other than she is 18 and a student, here is a hometown paper piece I found. Not very helpful.

Gabby needs more time and experience, imho. She just doesn't have the polish and consistency.
I'm thrilled for Caleb for losing all the weight, he looks great. His voice is good, but is so much like the singers he's copying. His Johnny Cash was fun to listen to, because it reminded me of Cash; I wish he'd change things up a little. If he's the next WBWG to win, fine, I guess people voted for him.
Maddie got my votes. She's got an excellent voice and is an original. I hope she wins!

Rooting for Maddie too. Surprised that no one on AI comments on Gabby's faux country twang when she sings... yes, she is from Pittsburg!

So I am here. Still tough to shake off the old place, but BIG PROPS to those that set us up with a new home.

The site doesn't recognize me although Bloomers has been around since maybe 2005 or 2006?!!! I have put in a plea for help! Hopefully, I will get help quickly... My heart sank for Maddie last night. She played it so safely and as a result all three songs and the performances were rather bland. Maddie's trip here was based not on a genre but that there was something different and unique that set her apart. Part of that was she could be quirky as when she played the banjo or sang Melanie's Brand New Key. Somewhere toward the end someone made the remark to her about quirky, and she said she did not want to be known as quirky. She went from that point on as straight as possible, and gone was that darling Maddie. There are many good singers, and it would be very easy to get lost in the shuffle.... Overall, Caleb had a very good night. Gabby is only 18, and despite what Bobby Bones said, if she doesn't win this, she is too young and immature to take off by herself to live in Nashville trying to make it. That was bad and dangerous advice in today's climate. I hope her family talks her out of that.

Gabby has gone from imitating Carrie to imitating Miranda Lambert.....not good in any way in my mind...especially for an 18 year old.

I'm not super impressed with any of the 3 remaining contestants enough to vote. This is probably the first season I didn't have a real favorite amongst the last three. I don't really care who wins, at this point.

This is the first time I tuned in to watch this season. I think Caleb and Maddie. I thought Gabby sounded horrible. She butchered Don't stop believing. Then I read an article that said Gabby was the front runner. Say it ain't so!
