ADAM LAMBERT
Watch "The Queen + Adam Lambert Story" Monday, April 29 8|7c on ABCThe Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story airs Monday, April 29, on ABC. On the heels of Queen and Adam Lambert's show-stopping opening performance at the Oscars on Sunday, Feb. 24, Lincoln Square Productions has acquired the U.S. television rights to a documentary from Miracle Productions on the iconic band and their new regular frontman, Adam Lambert. Produced by Jim Beach and acclaimed writer and filmmaker Simon Lupton, "The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story" airs MONDAY, APRIL 29 (8:00–10:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, prior to Queen and Lambert's already sold-out July/August 2019 U.S. Rhapsody tour. Be sure to watch on the ABC app from your smartphone and tablet (iOS and Android), computer on ABC.com and connected devices (Roku, AppleTV and Amazon Fire TV). With rare concert footage and exclusive, revealing portraits of the band members offstage, "The Show Must Go On" chronicles Queen and Lambert's incredible journey since they first shared the stage together on "American Idol" in 2009. From his humble beginnings and meteoric rise on reality TV to now standing center stage as lead singer of Queen + Adam Lambert, the documentary features brand-new interviews with Lambert, his parents Leila and Eber, and Queen founding members Brian May and Roger Taylor, as well as Golden Globe® and Oscar® winner for Best Actor "Bohemian Rhapsody"'s Rami Malek, and Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins. "The Show Must Go On" simultaneously follows the ensuing 27 years. Lambert, starting at the age of 10, is beginning to come of age, discovers his love of music and finds a voice of his own while, across the pond, the surviving members of Queen see their songs remain staples with DJs, in clubs, in theatres around the globe with their hit musical, "We Will Rock You," and in movies. Lambert and Queen intersected in spectacular fashion when Lambert first performs with the band, singing "We Are the Champions" as one of only two finalists on Season 8 of "American Idol." The public reaction was remarkable and first seeded the idea that perhaps Lambert might become a permanent fixture in the Queen family. In 2012, Queen + Adam Lambert was born. To date, Queen + Adam Lambert have performed together in nearly 200 sold-out shows in arenas and stadiums across the world. abc.go.com/news/insider/watch-the-queen-and-adam-lambert-story-on-the-abc-app

I'm so excited..I love Adam..love love love.. Me too, FannyMare! I've loved Adam ever since his very first audition on Idol, and his kooky look and unbelievable voice just knocked me out. Early on I didn't know whether he would win the show or not, but I knew he was going to be very very successful, some day!

Early on I didn't know whether he would win the show or not, but I knew he was going to be very very successful, some day! He was the only reason hubby and I tuned in. He's become a big draw, singing with Queen..and his own music, of course.

I saw a story( maybe TIME) about the Nashville tornado and it quoted Taylot Hicks-- season 5 winner. He lives there and his house was damaged in the storm. He said that he was alone in the house and the noise of the approaching storm was just amazing. He was grateful that his damage was not total and offered prayers to his neighbors whose losses were worse.

I think there was an HGTV show a few? years ago about remodeling his home which was brand new (to him) at the time. It looked very comfy.

You can have all the privacy you want from the public; the authorities, on the other hand, may track your sorry ass.

I just saw this, sooo sad I loved Willie, he had such a beautiful voice. I can honestly say he is one of very few AI contestants I am happy to have been introduced to and hear sing. I feel so bad for his family

I watched a video of him singing that he posted two hours before the accident. I will admit, I cried. He was just too damn young.
