^ so true, timing really is EVERYTHING in this game. And ITA about keeping people that are perceived as bigger threats than yourself for as long as you can..."meat shield"

I was really hoping for a Ron blindside last night! I wonder if they felt like Eric was a bigger physical threat so they decided to vote him out? But really, so far, women have won the II, so brawn isn't everything. I really disliked Lauren from her bio & then aligning with Kelly, but she's shown to be a strong competitor & is in it to win it, & she hasn't been annoying like her bio made her look. I'm good with her now, despite being aligned with Kelly. I can't stand Ron, no, just no..I love my David, he's so different than the David that played before Lauren and Aurora are in my top 5..

Rick was one of my favorite players up until last night's episode. He let his cocky side show, and that knocked him down a few notches. It'll be interesting to see what's going to become of the 2-piece idol he shares with David. I wanted to see Ron get voted off, but I get why they decided to keep him. Eric is a bigger threat and Ron doesn't have a chance at winning the game. I can't wait to see what's so shocking to the jury in next week's episode. They need to show more footage from Edge of Extinction. Especially now that they're getting more people on the island. There's got to be some strategic planning or heated conversations going on over there. I would have liked to compete in that combo physical/puzzle challenge, but I wouldn't have done well at all with that endurance test. Standing on your tiptoes while trying to keep a piece of wood from slipping off your head? No, thank you! I would have dropped way early on. Still liking this season and especially the Edge of Extinction twist. Sorry to hear some of you aren't that in to it.

I just watched last nights episode. What a wonderful and glorious blindside. I really wanted Ron to go but the look on his face was priceless. I now think it’s better he stay and suffer. LOL LOL

As a side note, has anyone else noticed how great everyone’s skin looks, well almost everyone?

Really lost all respect for Aurora last night. That is someone's life. As you only have one life. And really just to care more about winning as Lauren could had died out there.
Eric was a threat and hopefully he and Joe will do something and get the last laugh. Loved to see Ron go. Liked at first but his arrogance could be his undoing there.
Rick does need to put it mildly put up or shut up.

I’m okay with Aurora staying focused on the challenge. She couldn’t turn her head and couldn’t see what was going on with Lauren. Sure she could hear them all talking about it, but she couldn’t see any of it.

I wonder if Victoria's warning not to make a big move tonight will come back to haunt the others...Never get too cocky or comfortable in this game. It invariable leads to a blindside!

Victoria dug her heels in just as much as Aurora. She could have said fine, I'm dropping out, Lauren needs our undivided support. Besides, Aurora had to have been in a great deal of pain at the time. I think that would influence what I would tend to say. Why would Aurora's attempts to negotiate with Victoria be any more egregious than just keeping her mouth shut and continuing with the challenge? Jeff said in his Dalton Ross interview that he was focused mostly on the continuing challenge and not Lauren, just checking with Dr. Joe periodically about what was going on.
By the way, Jeff had no idea what was happening to Lauren before she collapsed. Kudus once again to the camera people for picking it all up.

After tonight, I have David to win it all. He’s startegically worming his way into the alliances without offending anyone. The Kamas are just begging to be dismantled, and they’ve reduced themselves down to a 6-5 advantage now. Rick Devens is being worked into a losing finalist, he’s been completely out of the loop since coming back.

As for the Aurora thing.. I am gonna give her a pass. First of all, from what we saw.. she waited till Jeff said keep the game going before she started in on negotiations. We do not know the whole and real sequence of events, this IS edited for TV and drama. I don't see her as a bad or awful person, she did what she had to do in her situation. I am more ready to call foul on the rest of them for cutting her down because I am willing to bet if they were in her place more than half of them would have done much the same thing. Not one of them is going to throw their game away in a challenge like that because someone else fainted, the game was still on. Part of me is willing to cut Rick some slack too, I understand his emotional state given the past events that bit him in the rump but he could have been a bit less in your face about it. At this point given his little tirade, it is safe to say no matter how it all shakes out, he will not win the whole thing.

Just finished watching it. Let's see - I am also ok with Aurora negotiating, it takes no time at all to do a quick pulse and blood sugar check. Within a minute or two they could tell Lauren wasn't on the brink of death and that's why they didn't stop the challenge. I hope David and Devon get back together. I, too, wonder what the big thing that happens at tribal. Since I watched last week so late I only have a few days to wait!
