For real this time, we have ourselves a Season 37 announcement. The theme is "Davids vs Goliaths" divided based on occupation. The Davids are the ones whose lives put them in the underdog or underestimated position - I'd reckon the student and the public defender are some of the Davids. The Goliaths are described as people at the top - CEOs, surgeons, etc. There are two professional fighters on the cast, I suspect they'll also be "Goliaths." Check out the first link for season details, and the second for rumored cast (updated as information comes in) Theme and TitleSeason 37 cast(direct copy of Badseed's post) (Mod note: Please use spoiler tags for any results-oriented news or gossip)

I wonder if some came from Ghost Island just based on the timing of this.

Nice to see some age diversity in this cast. HHH and Ghost Island made it seem like 40 was the new 70 on Survivor

Here’s the cast reveal. I’m excited, they look more diverse and interesting than Ghost Island, though almost all Survivor casts do. Shoutout to Natalia whose pet peeve is people not brushing their teeth. Good luck with that. ew.com/tv/survivor-david-vs-goliath-cast-gallery

Okay there's some serious eye candy for me .
One thing that irks me...why is one listed as an attorney and one as a public defender. Both are attorneys, it's just one works with the indigent. I guess one is the david and the other goliath. I guess it just bugs me because I work for the public defender's office and get very tired of hearing how they are not real attorneys.

I like this cast so far. Nobody stands out as any super annoying types. I already have a few favorites based upon their bios. (As always, subject to change based upon the contestant's jerk level on my official jerk-o-meter). People I like so far include... Dan: I can't picture him as a heavy person, but he said he had to lose a lot of weight to join the SWAT team, so he seems disciplined. I like that. Plus, he hates lazy people and so do I. His hobby of "date nights with my daughter" sounded sweet. I can relate. Jeremy: His hobbies and pet peeves were kind of interesting. He admits his personality won't let him fly under the radar, so I do hope he can keep himself humble like the person he most admires. Bi: She seems tough. I think I'm going to like her. She says she's physically strong & assertive, yet quiet & observant. Those traits are so much more admirable then "I'm a big flirt and I'll flirt my way to the end." Lyrsa: Another one who seems pretty tough, like she's got what it takes to go the distance. Natalie: Good bio read. She seems driven. I like her hobbies and pet peeves.... especially that part about the saggy pants. So true! Christian: I see Cochran written all over this guy (but Stephen Fishbach works as well). He's definitely smart. Robotic scientist? Not sure what he means by 'casual' coding, but I find his bio interesting.

Is there no episode 1 discussion thread? I just watched it and I want to know what other people think.
