Blame It On Rio - Stylist Marni Senofonte is back, this time to challenge the designers to work in her wheelhouse: celebrity styling. The designers divide into teams to create a mini-collection for their client, Morena Baccarin ("Deadpool"), who is heading to Rio on vacation.
Enjoy the show!

I'm not. I like Renee, but that outfit was awful. So unflattering and basic. It looked like something out of J Crew and it made the model look dumpy. Any of the three designers in the bottom team could have gone home and it would have been deserved. Tessa's getting awfully salty, isn't she? I think she's got some major jealousy going about Hester. Hester might not be for everyone, but she's got a clear vision and her clothing is well made (at least the ones that have won). That bathing suit was super cute, but to make it reversible in that amount of time was pretty impressive, especially considering how many truly terrible bathing suits we've seen on this series. It would be one thing if Tessa had been doing good work, but her b.s. about how unfinished hems are her thing was ridiculous. No, you didn't budget your time well. You don't leave an unfinished hem on a look that's supposed to be elegant. Tessa can go home any time now. Her little snotty remark to Hester at the end of the episode was uncalled for too. Just pure sour grapes.

Just pure sour grapes. Yes, it's what I said all along. Tessa's attitude is awful. She whined about not getting the model she wanted in the last challenge, and then used that as an excuse to send a crappy look down the runway. I was SO glad Bishme called her out at the beginning of this episode. He pretty much said what I was thinking: the outfit was terrible and she should have been in the bottom. Period. As for Hester, (sigh) I've resigned myself to her winning. I don't like her personal aesthetic, but (other than the video game outfit) I will admit that she deserved to win the challenges that she did. I was sad to see Renee go, but I understand why. That outfit was terrible. I can understand why Team Rio Holiday was disappointed. Their looks were good, too. Either they or Disco Queen could have been in the top and I would have been happy.

You’re JOKING about the winning team! The styling is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what she said she wanted. It seems that Sebastian is more in line of what she wants. I really don’t get this season. I am thinking this is a wasted season
Jamall immunity was wasted. He should’ve been gone last week. No three weeks ago.

The safe team should have been the top team. I am over the judge's fascination with Hester and Garo needs to design something without a corset. That stylist looks like a mess and she loved the worst design. I am getting frustrated with this season. I don't understand the judges' decisions. I also think Tess was covering about her hemlines. Maybe they need to get rid of immunity.

And last week he told Sonya that he loved her dress, that it was worthy of the red carpet. Translation: the judges eliminated the wrong designer. Interesting....I wonder what his thoughts are on all this love the judges are showing Hester.
The judges also seem to have an age bias. As a writer, I'm sensitive to this. A friend of mine gave up on her dream of becoming a published writer. She said more than one agent told her that publishers prefer younger writers now, so that the publishers can get more books out of them.

I'm beginning to believe rumors about BRAVO having a say in this. Sorry no one over 12 would wear what Hester designs.

Yup... safe team should have been the winning team. Renee was the right one to go. I didn't like Hester's outfit or Garo's at all and don't get the judges either. I listen to them and it reminds me of people fawning over the Emperor's new clothes. I wonder what the outcome would have been if the regular panel had been there.🤔

Maybe they need to get rid of immunity. Couldn't agree more. The "safe" team made clothes that were interesting but elegant and above all.... WEARABLE. Ya; I am really tired of Hester winning, and the judges just fawning over her stuff. I agree with the poster here who said "No one over the age of 12 should be wearing her designs".
The reason I was disappointed that Sonia was voted off on this show was.... at least her dress was wearable; the other one was truly awful. Even Christian stated that many of his clients would love to wear that dress.
And Tessa was just way to snarky on this show. Her final insult at Hester should NOT have been said. Although I didn't like the swimsuit either, there is no reason to be rude and just plain mean. It only made Tessa look jealous and like a poor loser.
I too have not liked this season as well. Maybe I just miss Tim Gunn, I don't know. But the challenges are rather boring, the judging is nuts and makes no sense, and the designers are pretty much "one note". Except for Sebastian. He has come up with some really fresh and unusual designs, but they are all impeccably made and they hang beautifully. I would love for him to win, but I am afraid these judges will go the polar opposite, and give it to the designer who seems to have clients that cartoon characters.

Only this time, no whining, no excuses. And surprise! She made a pretty good outfit. See, Tessa? That's what it's all about. Do your best, work hard, maybe get screwed by the judges but at least you can be proud of yourself. I actually felt sorry for Tessa until her final burst of cattiness. She was right. Her team should have been the winners.

I did like Bishme's outfit a lot, so I can see why Hester's swimsuit along with that took them to the top. But Sebastian's outfit was gorgeous; too bad his other two teammates didn't do anything to help get him into the top.
Boy the bottom team really deserved to be on the bottom! I didn't care for the color combinations they all chose, either.
