I picked that up from Facebook so hopefully it sticks. It is ABC, not CBS, so maybe strong.

Season 7 Episode 1 - "The New Deal" - May 27, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agents_of_S.H.I.E.L.D._(season_7)Kind of a slow start, not sure what to expect. What happened to Daisy's face. It looks so different. mmmm...OK she is 28 maybe she finally lost all the baby fat on her face. I saw the same with Jenna Campano of MTV Challenge fame, she is 27 and her face really slimmed down.

Season 7 Episode 2 - "Know Your Onions" - June 3, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agents_of_S.H.I.E.L.D._(season_7)What really surprised me is how freely the agents talked in front of everyone, Violet the Hydra courier that was shot, Wilfred Malick, and Koenig, talking about being from the future, revealing details of events that have not happened, showing them advanced tech. Are they idiots or this incredibly bad writing? Oh, looks as if they will be time hopping and not staying in the 1930's. Luv Enoch and Koenig together.

Season 7 Episode 3 - "Alien Commies from the Future!" - June 10, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agents_of_S.H.I.E.L.D._(season_7)I think it maybe best to watch two episodes at a time as that completes the mind arc in that particular time. I know they didn't mean it to happen this way as this was filmed in mid 2019 but commentary referencing color and sexism amazing concurs with what is happening in our current culture. At this time federal agents were so focused on Communist they absolutely could not perceive of any other kind of threat to the point you want to smack them in the head. Jemma having way too good a time as Agent Peggy Carter. Watching Coulson and Simmons question various people is a hoot. Liked the reference back to the Agent Carter series, the SSR building in LA and seeing Agent Sousa again. Really nice they did that. Luv the bonding between Yo Yo and May and their "issues". Nice touch about the aliens doing some probing.

Season 7 Episode 4 - "Out of the Past" - June 17, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agents_of_S.H.I.E.L.D._(season_7)An ode to Film Noir. The writers are in heaven writing this final season and it is so the Phil Coulson character. I feel for poor Enoch basically being used as the office secretary. Ooooh, HYDRA is going to raise one of it's many heads to trouble the team in future episodes. Agent May has feelings! That should be fun.

OMG - even the writing reflects the writing of the 80's. Too much, too much. Emo lives.
ETA: I forgot Coulson referencing Max Headroom (my favorite show of the era). I kept expecting him to stutter - C-C-C-Coulson!
It was a good episode, but Mac went overboard on the Emo stuff. His emotionalism has always bothered me.

Season 7 Episode 5 - "A Trout in the Milk" - June 24, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agents_of_S.H.I.E.L.D._(season_7) What does "A Trout in the Milk mean: Interesting episode with two time jumps and lots and lots of plots. - There is HYDRA working with the Chronicoms.
- There is HYDRA working with Nathaniel Malick who was this nonentity, this ripple in time. Potentially wanting to experiment on Daisy like Daniel Whitehall did on Daisy's mother.
- Deke finally kills Freddy Malick.
- There is lots and lots going on in SHIELD and who is working with who.
- The retro SHIELD security jumpsuits are yes very James Bond.
I have always like Agents of SHIELD episodes as they can be so dense.

Season 7 Episode 6 - "Adapt or Die" - July 1, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agents_of_S.H.I.E.L.D._(season_7)Glad to see the end, I hope, of Nathaniel experimenting on Daisy and potentially Sousa.I hope this means Nathaniel crushed all of his bones or is he still alive, or did the ceiling fall on him and that was the killing blow? Coulson's superpower is coming back from the dead? Too funny in a totally morbid way. Poor Mack, there was simply no way that was going to end well. Deke, I always feel as if he is a fish out of water, why is that? Deke apologizing to Enoch was priceless. I luv how Jemma connects to people. Luv'ed the interaction between Coulson and May in the interrogation room. Her comments on the plane that he will be back, confirms that she still loves him. It's all that pent rage and grief she had buried deep, deep, deep inside.

Season 7 Episode 7 - "The Totally Excellent Adventures of Mack and The D" - July 8, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agents_of_S.H.I.E.L.D._(season_7)I think the writers are having a hoot with this season and the time traveling theme. I luv how they are creating new opening credits for the show depending on the decade they are in. The total transformation of Mack into the Director with the bandana and black jumpsuit was delicious. Even the scripts are a bit funky, and ode to the era, to movies (Short Circuit), and they way TV shows were produced. I am glad they made this a Deke and Mack centric show as Deke is not the best agent although he tries and that is mirrored by the team he created. Coulson and Sibyl as Max Headrooms are delightful. Luv'ed May's reaction to seeing Coulson. Rats, Nathaniel Malick survived and is working with Sibyl. I do wonder what happened did HYDRA quit sending folks to that far distant moon to feed HIVE (the first Inhumans leader on Earth see season 3).

Season 7 Episode 8 - "After, Before" - July 15, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agents_of_S.H.I.E.L.D._(season_7)Liked the May and Elena adventure and how they handle meditation with a full on sparring match. Interesting how the season and story line is revisiting key elements of the series, in this case the home of the Inhumans. Kora is Jiaying's daughter? What happened to Daisy and to Jiaying being tortured by Daniel Whitehead? Liked that Daniel Sousa got a new prosthetic. Anyone think there is something going on between him and Daisy? Really disliking Nathaniel Malick.

The Finale is nigh...what do you predict the final scene will look like?
I think the final scene will be the original group sitting on the diner stools celebrating an accomplished mission, not knowing what lies ahead.

The Finale is nigh...what do you predict the final scene will look like? I think the final scene will be the original group sitting on the diner stools celebrating an accomplished mission, not knowing what lies ahead. This series has always managed to surprise. I am sure they will have a very funny, bittersweet finale, that will be just right. I am not going to watch until Thursday so I can watch fast forwarding through the commercials. Probably watch it a couple of times for the stuff I missed and just enjoy it before posting my usual witty repartee. I am glad they are airing episode 12 and 13 as a two hour finale and I truly hope Nathaniel has a horrid ending.

Oh, yeah...I hopes he dissolves into dust.
What I don't want to know is that Fitz is a brain in a jar with wires protruding. Jemma's reaction when memory returned suggests something horrible. But, that would mean no daughter and no grandson so he would also dissolve into dust.
I think, somehow, it will end with the original crew from the first episode - just as long as it isn't a St Elsewhere ending..."It was all a dream"!

Now all I'm wishing for is a cogent, logical ending. They've left me so far out in the woods that I don't think I can find my way home.
EX: How did scary daughter get to the Zepher for the last scene when she was in the lighthouse just prior fighting with May?

"COOL" Last word spoken from a re-imagined Phil in a re-imagined Lola.
Good end to the series. I can't wait for it to hit Netflix so I can use captioning as I missed a lot of dialogue; but I got the gist of it. Rather than the diner, they reconvened twice in Koenig's Bar, which was just as appropriate.

Needed to finish Season 15 of Supernatural and the last half of season 1 of Stargirl. Hope to catch up on the last four episodes of SHIELD this weekend.
It was a big week this week with season finales for Stargirl, Agents of SHIELD, Killer Camp, and Renovation Island.

Season 7 Episode 10 - "Stolen" - July 29, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agents_of_S.H.I.E.L.D._(season_7)Oh my gosh, how annoying is young John Garrett. I know military guys like him usually on way too much Red Bull, and you definitely want them watching your back, but you also want to hit them in the head with a large solid object. The episode was very fast paced and almost scary how Sybil has every twist and turn calculated for. But does she really? I do wonder how big this army is that Nathaniel has? Is is HYDRA based? Was it every revealed how old Jiaying is? Is Jiaying really dead and how will Kora react to Nathaniel killing her? Even if she hated her mother someone else killing her will mess things up. I was surprised at the Jemma instead of Jiaying twist as Nathaniel has several times refereed to getting immortality. At this point we have Deke, Daisy, and Daniel as folks outside of timelines, mmmm does that include Phil Coulson?

Season 7 Episode 11 - "Brand New Day" - August 5, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agents_of_S.H.I.E.L.D._(season_7)Does Nathaniel really think Sibyl will leave any humans alive? Seriously doubt that. Kora ... I just don't know. I don't get why they simply didn't put a bullet in her when she powered the firewalls off. Like they don't have gas to knock out folks in those holding tanks. Cute little talks between Daisy and Mack, Mack and Daniel, and Daniel and Daisy. Why didn't anyone provide Daniel with a bullet proof vest? All things do come to an end, it's not a bad thing, it happens. Life changes, evolves. I like how Mack got on Daisy's case about it and about using a phone for it's intended purpose. Luv'ed the Coulson becoming a computer expert and May the talker. That was so fun. Great set up for the finale, great scenes and tie ups from everyone. So nice to see Fitz and how Jemma didn't give him up at all. It's hard for series writers to do great finales I hope the momentum continues. Interesting how many times and different characters said its a "Brand New Day". I have a thought about that but will hold on to it.

Season 7 Episode 12 - "The End Is at Hand" - August 12, 2020 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agents_of_S.H.I.E.L.D._(season_7)Still gathering forward momentum. It started to drag a bit with the scenes on the quinjet and Mack and Daniel setting up for a bit of a siege. However, it came together when Daniel got the idea to use the Chronicoms as bombs. I totally luv'ed the moment when Mack asked for some duct tape. I was surprised that Nathaniel did not kill Kora. That girl, I am beginning to think is bi polar with all of her swings. Ahh, poor John Garrett killed with a bullet to the head to someone he did the same thing to 30 years later in a different timeline. Luv'ed that the last scene was back at the old safe house with all the different agents having stored 084's and bringing them together at that moment and having Jemma put together a device that brings Fitz back, with the key her wedding ring.

Season 7 Episode 13 - "What We're Fighting For" - August 12, 2020 - Season and Series Finale en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agents_of_S.H.I.E.L.D._(season_7)Luv'ed the way they wrapped up the season and the series. There was so much momentum from episode to episode and they way the infused all the lose ends and managed for all of it to make sense was breathtaking and a pleasure to watch. It was smart, and fun. What a feel good moment. Pat attention people this is how it should be done.
