Ugh! The dishonest way they handled Luke's exit really pisses me off and makes me wonder what else about him and others the show has skewed to serve their own purposes. Luke had a wedding to go to and had to catch a flight, so when it was time for him to leave, a producer motioned to him from the side that it was time to go, so he got up and left. There was nothing dramatic about it, but Hannah and Chris Harrison played it off like he'd left in a snit and "good riddance." So unfair and dishonest and unnecessary. EDITED TO ADD: To avoid double-posting, I'm just editing this recent post. I just came across this article that states so clearly and well the fact that all of the behavior we were encouraged to despise in Luke P (and rightfully so for the most part) was not only facilitated but encouraged by producers, and they are at least as much to blame as he is, but unlike him, they are never held accountable. Something to think about. www.flare.com/bachelor/the-bachelorette-men-tell-all-2019-luke-p-reality/

Tyler Cameron is a truly a kind and gracious guy. Here are a couple of tweets from tonight. The first is about Luke and the second is something he sent to Luke. (The third image shows the full text of the second tweet, since Tyler inserted a picture of a note he had written on his phone, and it doesn't all show in the tweet.) I just think it's really nice that he gets how hard this must be for Luke, and even though he doesn't agree with him (or probably even like him), he can reach out in kindness to let Luke know that he doesn't think he should have to pay for this all forever. (On a different note, as I was watching a recap, I caught something I had missed when I first watched it. When Luke came to the rose ceremony, Tyler said "Here comes her favorite." I thought that was really telling about the mindset the others had about what was going on. Yikes!) P.S. I'm not sure I believe Tyler when he says that the things he said were meant to be taken lightheartedly since he sounded pretty irritated when he said a lot of them, but I still think it's nice that he reached out to make peace and give Luke some support.

Something to think about. www.flare.com/bachelor/the-bachelorette-men-tell-all-2019-luke-p-reality/ In a post on the previous page, I said I think the whole Luke fiasco was 1/3 Luke and 2/3 production. This is not to excuse Luke for anything he lied about or did, but of course it was producers who had him come back not only once but twice when Hannah had let him go, plus I'm sure they generally egged him on, and encouraged the other guys to dislike him one way or another. However, there is absolutely nothing new about this. Production always has at least one main target, i.e., contestant, to create drama for viewer interest, but unfortunately for that contestant, they never seem to learn season after season not to give producers the material they're after although I'm sure they're masters of manipulation. Regarding Luke leaving the MTA, Chris H did say Luke left to catch a plane. He perhaps could have emphasized that more, but he did say it.
