Tiny bit of credit to Jed Lunkhead for just sitting there apologizing, and not being full of excuses and dumb lies, or platitudes.
Oh wait, here comes the b.s. about how he is truly in love with her. I just don't buy it!! He's so unemotional/flat.
I really hope she doesn't give him another chance. She stuck with Luke for too long, and gave him a million chances, that when she said she still sees the good guy in Jed, I got worried she'd give him another chance.

Noooooo!!! I'm so mad. I want Tyler to be the next Bachelor and get a good girl who will make him her #1. I don't want him being Hannah's second choice.

Tyler is TOO nice. He should have said hell no, you picked Jed, and I deserve better than being anyone's second choice! I wanted him to be the next Bachelor, too. That would have been amazing! I guess they have some other choices now - Peter, Big Mike, or some reject from BIP. Oh well, on to catch up with the Democrat debate.

When Hannah set the ring on the table all I thought was "Hey Neil Lane, come & get YOUR ring". It's not like Jed was out anything.

She’ s still my favorite Bachelorette. She’s made far better decisions than I ever made at 23.
As for Tyler, I told my husband if I were 15 (really 20) years younger, I would have gone to LA already.
I would love Mike or Peter as the next Bachelor.

Well, that was disappointing. I'm not surprised, but it was interesting. I guess Hannah is one of those people who believes that tacky saying: "The way to get over someone is to get under someone else." I figured as much from her though. She tries so hard to appear like a strong & independent woman, but only succeeds in looking like a very needy & desperate one. I am surprised, however, that Tyler went down that road. That leaves The Bachelor selection wide open. I don't want Peter, the last minute girlfriend dumper. I put him only a step above Jed. I don't want Mike, the bully, who kept piling on the trashing of Luke, instead of staying out of and above the fray and concentrating on Hannah instead. He left a bad taste with me. I guess all I can hope is that someone comes out of BIP with a bit of character intact.. All in all a season that left me disliking the lead, and disliking the contestants. This season wasn't even fun. Maybe it's time for me to take a season's break again.

Wow, it's been a long time since I visited FoRT. You've moved, there are some familiar names, and some new names. I knew, though, that I needed to come here tonight for this. Thanks for all the info - I'll make a point to spend more time here!
PS: Looking at my avatar, I clearly need to find one that doesn't look like an alien!

so are Tyler and Hannah a thing now? I just saw her talking w/Kimmel about it. He asked if they went for their drink yet, and she said she barely had time (it taped right after her appearance w/Tyler), so to give her time. She seemed very giddy about it, said he was pretty great. She wouldn't say she regrets her decision, with Jed. When he asked who should be the next Bachelor, maybe Tyler, and she made a little cringe face, then threw out Peter and Mike's names.

Yikes these finale's get longer and longer I knew the ending, so I drifted off, when I woke up, they were still going. Tried to like Hannah, she still screams pageant to me Tyler seemed nice, I think he's a fool if he carries on, where Jed/Hannah left off( jmho) Jed has a commercial already,or he's singing in it. He got what he came for..

He got what he came for.. He had the dog food commercial before coming on the show. I doubt he's going to have any positive career impact from being on the show. If anything, I'm thinking he's going to have a lot of work to do to make it back to where he started.

My intuition tells me Tyler still loves Hannah but he'll be apprehensive for awhile, understandably. The reason I believe that is because of his most heartfelt comment last night - the reason he's been able to deal with everything is because he thought she was in good hands. I think he is going to be her rock just as he was a rock for his father, and from there I think their love will continue to blossom.

I'm really truly hoping for Tyler's sake, that it works out. I think he was/is smitten with Hannah. I see her as very confused..

I am a bit confused. At the end of the show Hannah asked Tyler to perhaps go out and get drinks one night and Tyler replied "anytime." How does Chris Harrison and everyone else misconstrue that into they are giving their relationship another go? I think Tyler is just a gentleman and too polite to turn Hannah down. It's just drinks out! He'd be foolish to throw away a chance at the Bachelor gig to go down that road with Hannah again, IMO.

I sure hope the powers that be don't opt for yet another SHOCKING and DRAMATIC season by picking Jed as the next Bachelor. There have been some jerks/players recycled before for that purpose. Any of these guys who left a girlfriend behind aren't suitable (I'm also looking at Peter...).

I mean, he's cute and all but there is a reason why she didn't pick him. She was more into Jed than him.

Any of these guys who left a girlfriend behind aren't suitable (I'm also looking at Peter...). No, I would find it much more likely that they would pick Tyler for the Bachelor, have him get to the final five or six girls where he's really starting to fall for them, then bring back Hannah as an alternative. I thought the audience and Chris Harrison were hugely influential in what happened with Hannah and Tyler at the end of the show. They seemed a bit over-the-top at times.

What a greedy b*tch!! And I'm kinda mad at Tyler for agreeing to see her. I'm hoping it doesn't work out and Tyler can somehow still be Bachelor. Why would he want to be her 2nd choice?! Consolation prize. I wouldn't want to be, I'm betting they spoke before this, and he's being a gentleman. It seemed very false to me,but I haven't been watching.

I thought the audience and Chris Harrison were hugely influential in what happened with Hannah and Tyler at the end of the show. They seemed a bit over-the-top at times. Ha! I like that idea. Make her work to win him this time! (But they won't do it.) He's being very kind to agree to go out with her after she told him she loved someone else, and if Jed hadn't turned out to be a liar, she would still be with him. In other words, she didn't break up with him because she realized she loved Tyler more or even still had feelings for him. She breaks up with Jed, and suddenly she's talking about how she still has feelings for Tyler, now that she's alone? He deserves better. She's talking about how this experience has made her a strong, confident woman, but she described herself that way from the beginning. She should give herself some time to get her head on straight and be sure she's not pursuing Tyler (or anyone else) out of neediness or insecurity because that's not fair to him. I fully believe Chris H and production set that all up by bringing Tyler out after the segment with Jed, as if they were giving her a consolation prize, and I don't like seeing Tyler used that way, although they probably discussed it with him in advance, and he was kind enough to agree.
