I knew Lebron would leave us! It always boils down to where the money is, and where he will bring home a championship season. We don't live that terribly far from his home, and he has done some great things for Cleveland schools. He's always maintained his heart is in Cleveland, but after losing the championship, I knew he would move on.

I'm spending the off season shopping for a team. My fandom in the NBA has always been based on personality. When I like the personalities on a team, I"m a fan. If the team changes over, I move on. In recent years, my teams have been the Cavs (home town) and Clippers. I'll hold a special place in my heart for the Cavs still, but with Lebron gone I know it won't be the same. And the Clippers I love have been disassembled ... Blake in Detroit, JJ in Philly, Chris in Houston and now DeAndre in Dallas. I LOVE Doc Rivers - he's probably my favorite coach in the NBA. But they don't feel like my team anymore.
So I'm sitting back and waiting. I know my new team will come along and win me over.
Goes to show how tough it is for teams not in major markets to succeed. Fans can heap on all sorts of support, but there’s a pull to go elsewhere. Honestly while San Francisco is a big city it’s not always seen as a major sports town - so it goes to show how impressive it is that Golden State has kept that team together for so long.
Russell Westbrook traded to the Rockets, will play on the same team as James Harden again. A lot of trades happening lately. lol With the Warriors likely not going to be as good this next season as they have been for a while, other teams are ready to take their place.
