LA WINS!!! at the bottom of the 18th inning. 7+ hours of play and they have to go back out there this early evening.
Red Sox Ramos had a bad night personally. He fell twice, once into the first row of spectators (but caught the ball) and tripped over the pitcher mound, but caught the ball. He must have spent the night in the jacuzzi tub, poor guy.

Hi ArielfliesIt was Eduardo Nunez!! I said to hubby basically the same thing although I said he will need MASSAGES all night long!!! Also Dodger catcher tripped him up. He was FLYING all over DODGER STADIUM last night!!! BUT he insisted on staying in the game. He drove in our 3rd RUN!!! :D www.masslive.com/redsox/index.ssf/2018/10/red_sox_world_series_eduardo_n.html

Did any of you watch that game last night all the way to the end? I ran out of steam at the 12th. I was shocked at the 18 innings but very happy for the Dodgers. I used to go to games when I was a kid.

I did, but I forgot it's on again tonight. I'm going to switch between that and the Oregon/Arizona football game. AND check in with CNN now and then.

I love watching the games, except I can't the critical innings because they're on so late! So I hope we wrap up the series tonight so I can get more sleep.
For those who don't follow the Sox, we started the season by losing the first game and then went onto an astounding 17 to 2 run. Didn't mean we could keep it up in October. But it's been kind of a fairytale season. I think I'm happiest for David Price. I hope he has a good game tonight and permanently shakes the postseason curse.

What is BIZARRE to me is that DODGER STADIUM has not been sold out at all. My son/dil live in Pasadena and they can get tickets EASILY ( ) tonight if they can find a sitter for Stevie. We generally watch her but we are off to Vegas today to celebrate our THIRTY EIGHTH .... FENWAY has been SOLD OUT forever....even all the SPORTS BARS and NIGHTCLUBS around Fenway are OVERLY PACKED, you cannot get in them unless you are there 3 hours before the games. Yes our BOYS have been OUTSTANDING this season .... most runs in a WORLD SERIES ever when there have been 2 outs in the inning.

They aren’t sold out because it’s so expensive. I went to game one of the World Series last year and one ticket, 3 rows from the top, cost a whole months rent. Not many people can afford that.

Its MORE COSTLY in BOSTON then LA for SPORTING EVENTS!!! My son would NEVER in one million years secure tickets for an at home Boston game while they were in WORLD SERIES the SAME DAY!!! EVER!!!!!!! As a matter of fact right now these two LA home games.......is PACKED with BOSTON fans. Just the screaming last night when the SOX went ahead 8-4 ..... heck you would have thought you were IN Boston. Its always been cheaper for BOSTON sport fans to TRAVEL to see their teams. I can see the RED SOX play the ANGELS here at Angel Stadium for far less than at Fenway hence I have been to MORE Red Sox in ANAHEIM then all the years I lived in BOSTON. SAME WITH THE PATRIOTS.........their ticket prices are ridiculous........

When we planned our trip to Boston to check Fenway off our "go to every ballpark" list, we planned MONTHS in advance - and still had to go through Stubhub to get tickets.
Our experience with the Dodgers Stadium was unique. Lots of people came drifting in around the middle/end of the second inning, stayed an hour or so, and then left. I have to call them "people" . . . they did not behave like "fans"!

My hubby went to game 7 last year in LA. Top section, behind home plate midway up was $650, bought the day of. He saw his Astros win though, so totally worth it.
LA fans are.....different. I love the stadium as a whole (it’s probably my fav of all the older stadiums,) but the fans aren’t my cup of tea.

The local news (ABC) was touting available tickets on Friday's shows. They did sound expensive, but available.

$245 for left field pavilion, the cheapest, up to $5,000 for the best seat left - single ticket prices.
I would go for the cheap ones if I wasn’t going to Vegas next week. Much more reasonable than the $1250 plus tax that I had to pay last year.

Did you catch Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel in the stands? They went for laughs with Matt wearing a red t-shirt with "I'm With Stupid" and the arrow pointing at Jimmy, who wore the blue t-shirt with the same signage pointed at Matt. It really was kinda funny.

What this team means to me....My dad had season tickets to every Sunday home game. He wasn't a rich man and at the time they hadn't won a series since 1918 so tickets were very affordable. We were there for all of those games and I was the little girl in the cap keeping score. He died on Oct 23 2004...4 days before they won the first World Series in 86 years. They will always be a part of my heart.

My dad introduced me to the Sox the magical season of 1967 - the Impossible Dream year. He made it to 2002. He was on my mind throughout the 2004 series.
Our Boston office had bets going with our NYC and LA offices at their instigation. I'm not sure if that is 1 or 2 celebrations we'll have at their expense.

We moved to Boston in 1964 coming from New York. My Dad INSTANTLY became a RED SOX fan. He fell HARD for them. We had a huge yard where we lived and all weekend long my Dad loved working in it from his flower gardens to his vegetable gardens to mowing and raking the lawn. My 5 bro and sis' just played out there as he did yard work. AND along with that came RADIOS all over the house and one very large one in the garage. I was 10yo and I could name all the SOX only because we just heard the GAMES all weekend long, every weekend and most of Dad's convo was about the SOX. I had the BIGGEST crush at age 10yo on TONY C. And then he was hit by a pitch. FF to now..... sweetmermaid1 , I am so sad to read your post about YOUR DAD. I so wish YOUR DAD could have seen "his boys" win at least one World Series. As my Dad got older and older and my whole family only wished this CURSE crap would end just so Dad could see them at least win one WORLD SERIES. Finally, when Dad was 78yo he saw them win the 2004 SERIES......my family was not sure what we were more excited about, DAD seeing his first WS win or the actual WIN!!! Now Dad just turned 92 yo in August and has fortunately had the opportunity to see 2004, 2007, 20013 and now 2018. And finally, our whole family is thrilled that my oldest son, Chris, 35yo (who lives here in L.A.) has been as addicted as my Dad to the SOX was actually able to secure tickets to the SUNDAY night WIN at DODGER STADIUM!!! He STILL talks about it........now he is buying up all the RED SOX WS gear even getting a T-shirt for his 2yo daughter.
Red Sox get 3 Gold Glove winners: Mookie Betts, Jackie Bradley Jr., and Ian Kinsler earned the honor.www.boston.com/sports/boston-red-sox/2018/11/04/red-sox-get-3-gold-glove-winners

Alex Rodriguez had $500,000 worth of items stolen from a rental car that he parked on the street.

**shaking my head**
He couldn't take the few minutes to unload whatever was so valuable? I'll never understand. If I were writing the police report, I would mark the box marked "careless", if there is such a box.
