Atlanta Braves! #ChopOn
It’s been some lean rebuilding years for the Braves, so I’m really enjoying this bit of success they are having with the young guys. NL East will be really tight this year.

RedSox! I just wish there were more day games on weekends rather than this evening silliness. I like listening to the games when I'm doing heavy yardwork, makes it much easier.

What I really like about baseball is no one licks anyone! At least none of the players I care about, LOL.

What I really like about baseball is no one licks anyone! At least none of the players I care about, LOL. Ha Ha! The NHL had to release the statement "please stop licking other players." Did you catch the Red Sox alumni game? They aired it on NESN. Dwight Evans team vs, Louis Tiants team. It was hilarious. Bill Lee was there. It was a trip. Noone was following the rules, there were nine players on the field at one point. Pedro pitched, too. He was awful-and he couldn't stop smiling and laughing. They could play three innings or for 1 hour, whichever came first. They ended up playing four. I'm pretty sure Bill Lee playrf 4 positions. Everyone was so happy. Dwight Evans has aged well. www.bostonglobe.com/sports/redsox/2018/05/27/somehow-still-felt-familiar-former-red-sox-players-return-fenway-for-alumni-game/b2Gp7Q5FevH7Zizb3lch6M/story.html

Nice win for the Braves tonight against the Nats. I really love to hate the Nats, especially living here in the DC area the past six years. Chop On!!

I'm so excited for the Milwaukee Brewers, being Division Champs after being not very good for too long. Beating the Cubs for the title was exciting, and now we're two games up in the series against the Rockies. I admit to being a fair-weather fan, and not having a whole lot of faith that they'll go far (because of their history and disappointing me in the past), but I'm here for the ride. It's been fun! I've even purchased some Brewer shirts to wear. LOL!

I'll take the RedSox' incredible comeback! Just hate that these games have to be on so late in the evening.

I'm rooting for the Sox this World Series. I would have liked to see the Brewers win the NL championship, so I would have been happy with whoever won a Brewers/Sox series. But now I'm 100% rooting for Boston!

Hubby and I have enjoyed a unique hobby over the years, and completed our quest last year (2017). We have visited the home ballpark of every major league baseball team - National League AND American League.
And - in all honesty - our mutual favorite was Fenway Park. I actually choked up and got a tear in my eye the first time I saw the Big Green Monster out in left field.

Yup Boston did good fitting that PARK into the middle of the city basically with very little space to ever enlarge it!!! Then years later (like 15 or so ago) they got the brilliant idea to put seats over the GREEN MONSTER!!! So wicked cool!!!

Between us, we’re lacking seven or eight at this point. My husband’s fave is PETCO here in San Diego, but mine’s a toss up between Baltimore and Pittsburgh. Just curious, what were your least favorites. Oakland and Tampa are dumps. LOL

Oh wow, that’s interesting your thoughts on DC. We just moved from there after 6 years, so we went a lot. I’m not keen on their fans (or team) either, but that may be because I’m a Braves fan. 😉 The Phillies ballpark is the exact same stadium as the Nats, just dressed up a little differently of course.

Yeah, but the Phillies ballpark has Chickie and Petes. I would kill for a cup of their crab-flavored french fries. (Hubby is a bigger baseball fan than I . . . my hobby was trying margaritas and hot dogs in all the major league parks. LOL.)
