Quite enjoying this show and the level of skill and creativity. Really bummed over the first elimination, though, especially since they seemed to start the challenge off so well.

I wasn't really planning to watch, but Will Arnett was on Armchair Expert a few weeks ago and he talked about the show. Totally changed my mind. Lego has definitely changed since I was a kid!

Is it just me or was the rainbow bear that Sam and Jessica used a Carebear? And the "galactic bounty hunter" was Boba Fett. Are they just not allowed to name copyrighted characters? I'm really shocked at how Aaron and Christian just sort of ran out of steam this season. They started out the competition so strong. OTOH, Amy and Tyler have really improved. I think it's between Mark and Boone and Tyler and Amy for the win. I'm still blown away by the bridges from a few weeks ago. That was the challenged Will Arnett was talking about on Armchair Expert and it's why I decided to tune in! 1,000+ lbs is legit!

Brand new season began today, with a theme of "Parade Floats", and they needed to have a moving element. It was so fun, and some of the builds were stunning, the winners were well deserved. Definitely happy to see this show back.

That dragon float was amazing! it definitely deserved to win. I couldn't believe how much movement they got. I'm always happy when they don't eliminate anyone the first week. Everyone is just settling in and getting comfortable. I like that they all get another chance.

And also totally agreed about no elimination, just like with season 1, and hopefully that never changes. I love that every team gets at least two chances to show what they've got before eliminations begin.
