This Is Extortion - One castaway plays double agent and goes undercover to infiltrate a group they want to vote out. Also, one player who has been playing it cool finally goes to work to search for an idol.
That was so weird as they all came back from Tribal, and Jeremy asks what happened. No one would tell him, and someone smarted off, "Tyson's not here." Duh. So they're angry he used his advantage, and are going to be all punky with him? So weird. Ben thinks he's so great of a player, and I realllllly can't stand the guy. grr
Tony's being hilarious tonight! He found the idol, playing both sides.... Uh oh, Jeremy believes Tony's on his side!! Noooo. I don't want Jeremy to go. Tony thinks Jeremy's too likable to go to the end. Kim and Denise seem on to him, and seem to want Tony out. From the editing, it looks like it will be one of them tonight.
I liked seeing the runway show. I wish there was more time to show us these fun scenes more often. Like if they made the episodes 90 minutes!
Ooo, man, that was good! I did not see that coming, even when they discussed voting Sophie off I didn't think it would work! ha! She's a good player (even though she left with an idol in her pocket), but I'm still so glad she went over Jeremy. She almost started her hair on fire though!
I don't actively dislike Ben, but he can leave any time. I'm super glad that Jeremy is still there. I thought for sure he was toast when he decided to trust Tony. I wasn't sure why Tony thought this was a good time to break up the five who had the power. I guess he figured that once it got down to the five he'd be the first to go, so he wanted to shake things up a bit. Poor Sarah! Once again, she trusted him and he screwed her over. I feel bad the Sophie left, but it was a good move game-wise.
Seeking form amidst the void.
But if that's not possible, gimme a Margarita...shaken, not stirred...and hold the salt, please.
So I hated the Extortion twist with a passion! I love Natalie and Parvati, but how can two players voted out just demand payment from a player still in the game and penalize them from playing in a challenge and no vote. HUH???? I dont understand how anyone could love the Edge of Extinction, I really don't like it just gets worse and worse.
But The fact that Tony was able to get the fire tokens , win immunity, get two more fire tokens, find an idol, and send Sophie home with an idol in her pocket truly left me speechless!
Tony is truly one of the greatest players of all time. Not to mention its Final 8 and he has yet to receive a single vote against him at Tribal council. What he has been able to accomplish this season proves that his first win in Cagayan wasnt just a fluke!
Sophie played an incredible game, she had a great run, but I just didnt want her to win, she got too comfortable and never saw this coming.
I don't like the Edge of Extinction at all and will be very angry if someone comes back and wins the game. That wouldn't be right and would smack of Big Brother level production rigging.
I love Tony and hope he wins. I just watched his first season, and he played brilliantly with a stellar cast. I haven't seen Sarah's winning season, but she seems so bratty.
Well of course that will happen as it was all rigged. Don't know why any of us are watching as CBS picked the winner before the season started. (being totally sarcastic here)
Any one in this case regardless of where they are located if they win then they are the winner those are the rules of the game. Yes, it is not fun or exciting to be on Edge of Extinction they are starving and they are playing the game just in a very different manner. I was thrilled Natalie and Parvati did not spill the beans on their message in a bottle and used it to mess with the game. However I do not understand why after the immunity challenge no one asked for their borrowed fire token back. Tony borrowed three fire tokens, from Jeremy, Ben, and Nick. Tony won only two fire tokens at the immunity challenge he only had two to give back. I guess no one asked for their token back. However that would be the first thing I would do.
Best scene was watching Tony go over the top with excitement after he got the extortion advantage going on and on how he will mess up the game only to realize that the final sentence on the page said he was the victim and he was outraged it was played on him.
I don't get the purpose of EOE at all. They barely show the folks there and except for a few searches, Tyson coming back and a few things that the remaining Survivors have to do on the sly, it's a total waste of time. Now with the merge, they could have had the EOE and the other group compete in challenges on their respective islands and then the winner on each compete for the $2M You think of Nastasha (sp) and Amber have been over there just sitting for the entire game.
I agree with all about being very upset if an EOE player is the winner. I don't mind an *early* return to the game, but it's way too late now. I also agree that Tony played a great game this season and find myself suddenly rooting for him. I liked Sophie and liked that she is a gracious loser, but agree she needed to go. She might be the ONLY player i am ok with returning at this point. And barely.
