I didn't know one was opening in Orem. I think one is opening in Layton as well.

For those of you who like smoothies, the Organic Pea Protein Powder is a reasonably priced protein, and the vanilla is tasty. We switched over from the Hemp powder to try something different and was glad we did.

Fall is coming soon, and all the pumpkin-flavored things they sell at TJ!
One of the things I'm hoping they have again this year is the spiced pumpkin seeds! They are shelled and have Pumpkin Spice on them. So good!

Cauliflower Gnocchi, Riced Cauliflower Stir Fry, Cauliflower Pizza Crust, and Rice Cauliflower. Tasty and low calorie.
Also, Hatch Valley Salsa! I'm always trying new ones and this one hooked me.

Went to TJ today, and all the pumpkin things are in! I got my beloved Pumpkin Spice pumpkin seeds! Another delicious thing is the Pastrimi salmon they have; it's so good with some cream cheese on a thin bagel.

I'm heading there today (or maybe tomorrow; I'm kinda pooped), so I came here to see what people had recommended. And low and behold, here's this reminder of all of the good pumpkin stuff. Now I can't wait to get there and see what looks good. Yum!

We went today to replenish our supply of acai puree, frozen strawberries, blueberries, baby plantains and pea protein for our morning shakes as well as nuts, salads for dinner, and the pastrami salmon. They had a new salted caramel cocoa that we almost got, but at 24g of carbs a sitting that's a little bit too much carbs for something I'm drinking that has no nutritional value. They also had pumpkin joe joes.

Hmmm....they now have almond, cashew, and macadamia nut milk at Trader Joe's and I want to try it. Has anyone bought this, and if so how was it?

I have been using Trader Joe's Almond Milk for many years, and really enjoy it. Give it a try.

I've tried the new Blueberry Lavender Flavored Almond Beverage and it's oddly refreshing.

Has anyone else bought the new Honeycrisp apple candle? OMG. I thought the grapefruit one smelled good. This one is even better. It smells SO much like the real thing. Because one of my cats thinks a reasonable reaction to stress, or irritation over a less-than-spotless litterbox is to poop and/or pee in my bed, I close my bedroom door when I'm not in there. It does tend to get a bit stale smelling, even with the window open. I lit that candle in there the other night and the room still smells great. Definitely

Definitely Oh yummmmmy.......I love candles in the FALL........I love YC's MacIntosh. I was just at TJ's and missed the candles BUT I did buy their APPLE CIDER foaming soap from my guest bathroom.......that as well smells AWESOME. So now Critical, I guess I am headed back to TJ's.......

The candles are in small-ish silver tins and are with the soaps and lotions. I think I'll get another one the next time I'm there, just in case they discontinue it before my first one burns down.
I don't like floral scents in my house, so it's usually citrus or vanilla in the bed and bath and cooking scents (cinnamon, caramel, etc.) in the kitchen. The apple candle works well all over the house.

I'll have to try that apple candle. One of the more frustrating things about buying candles is you don't know whether the scent will spread to an area or not.

I actually happened upon one of their managers and she said "they are seasonal candles, very popular, we have sold out and are not getting anymore". I will just stick to my YC MacIntosh!!!!!

BUMMER! I guess that means I'll be hitting up my local TJ's to buy some more of those candles within the next few days! I HATE that they do certain things like that seasonally. I get the pumpkin spice thing in the fall, but other things don't seem seasonal to me and that includes that candle. There's also a cinnamon vanilla black tea that I really love that they only had at Christmas. I think they discontinued it ( ), but I never understood why that couldn't be a year 'round product.

I agree. I really like their pumpkin spice body butter that they only have at this time of year, and I'd like to be able to get it year round. The regular coconut scented one is so boring, and who wants to go around smelling like a coconut? They could at least add some lime or something to it. Of course the pumpkin one makes me smell like a cookie, and I'm not sure that's any better.

I'm going to Trader Joes tonight to see if there's any of those candles left. They're by the bath and beauty stuff, right?

At one TJ's that's where they were. I just came home from a different one and they were on a huge display near the customer service desk by the front door. They have the pumpkin vanilla ones too. I asked the employee at the counter to check and she said they can't reorder the apple ones, so they're definitely seasonal. Alas. I told her that, if there was any mechanism in their system, she should log that one customer asked for them to be a year round product!

Now I feel bad because I just got back from Trader Joes and they still had a sizable amount of candles left. We bought two, and right now I have one burning in the bedroom and it smells great!

Went to the store and they had the Cedar Balsam Candles; same style and brand as the apple ones. I bought two, and when I'm finished burning my last apple candle I'll use these. They have a lovely smell, kinda like fir trees on a wintry day.

I bought one of the gingerbread candles at TJ’s last night. I’m traveling for work and would love to burn it in my hotel room, but I’m not sure if I’d get in trouble! Plus, I don’t have a lighter or matches with me. I’ll have to wait until I get home. It’s going to be great in the kitchen!

Those candles have peaked my interest after reading all your posts. I was at Trader Joe's yesterday but didn't look at them. I was with Mr. C and he wasn't very excited about lingering and examining things so I didn't really look at that aisle. Dang. I plan to go again next week so will hopefully get some then. It's 70 miles from my house so I have to plan my purchases.
I loved this stuff (cheese or dessert) last year and found a recipe to try and make something similar this year. But in the meantime, I will enjoy this while they have it in stock! I ate it with GF crackers which worked for me. I sometimes just took a slice and popped it into my mouth, !
