Chantel...One of my favourite contestants ever. A lot because she declined the Bette gig and went back to real life and basically gave the finger to the franchise.
I loved Chantel and cried when she wasn't chosen. I was so happy she appeared last night looking so lovely and glad to hear that she is happily married with children. She left at the final rose ceremony and never looked back.
I didn't mind Emily on Brad's season but really came to despise her on her own season. I'll just leave it at that. I am glad she found happiness and oh gosh little Ricki is so grown up. 3 little boys! Oh my word, that house must be hopping with activity all of the time!
I never faulted Brad for choosing no one. Deanna still hasn't gotten over it and still wanted to know why. LOL It was so nice to see a bachelor who was so respectful and could actually be articulate. What a concept! His gf is very pretty but looks to be quite a bit younger. I wonder if Brad will ever take the plunge?
I had almost forgotten how much I was totally unimpressed with Brad. Just not a likeable or appealing guy to me. Very stuck on himself & expected all the women to be so too. He needed, & probably still needs, to be knocked down a few pegs. I didn't find him attractive either. This has nothing to do with him choosing no one the first time. Sure, I want the "happy ending" phony or not, but I've always felt there's no reason the lead should be forced to pick someone at the end if none of the contestants are what they want. So many of these final couples have disaster written all over them. That doesn't make for a "happy ending".
Anyhow, for some unknown reason we get Sean again tomorrow. Uh..... Didn't we just watch that one? I don't need to see it again, and won't bother. Too soon. Next is Ali. I've always liked her, plus such an excellent F2. I don't remember the other guys on her season except for the one I couldn't stand, I think F3 or 4. So this will be a fun watch.
There's always another option. You just have to find it.
