I'm going to try again, though I think the acid will get to me. I love the smell.

I'm going to try again, though I think the acid will get to me. I love the smell. Have you tried half caffeine and half decaf? Some caffeine is better than none, in my book.

For me, a nice hot robust cup of coffee is the best start to morning! Love the smell. My favorite is the McCafe brand ground coffee, and I have tried many brands.

I could live without it BUT do I want to, NO. I like a hot cup or two in the morning. My husband and I drink decaf. I don't drink coffee for the caffiene I just like something hot in the morning an coffee is my drink of choice.

I stopped drinking coffee for a few years but started again when I kept seeing information about the benefits of some coffee in moderation. I missed it! I didn't have trouble quitting it but was lots sleepier in the morning when I didn't start the day with a large cup.
Now I drink about 16 ounces of coffee with almond milk each morning and have the occasional cold brew poured over ice in the early afternoon. I lightly sweeten it and in the winter I mix in cocoa that has a bit of chili powder in it.

Nope, I must have my coffee. Two cups in the morning and I'm good to go.

What brand of coffee do you like?
I prefer instant when making it at home and have a German brand I particularly like. I order it from enjoybettercoffee.com which has a lot of foreign brands. The shipping is ugh but I order two big jars at a time so it's okay.

Of course I could live without coffee, but that doesn't mean I want to. I will sometimes go without it for days, but always enjoy it immensely when I finally do get a cup. Back when I was working, I drank multiple cups all day long, until I noticed that in addition to getting antsy all the time, I was getting a lot of heartburn. I cut back to 1 in the morning plus an afternoon latte on Fridays.
Now it's a sometimes thing in the AM or an occasional Decaf in the evening. Latte day is Sunday after Church. I'm not sure if I get the latte after Church because I'm already out, or if I go to church so I can get a latte.
My favorite at home right now is Starbuck's House Blend K-Cup. I do have a bag of Pumpkin Pie ground coffee that's pretty good too. I put it in my pod-it-yourself attachment.
Favorite latte: City Brew Mountain Morning Skim Latte-Hot, 12 or 16 oz.

I gave up coffee for my two pregnancies but that was the only time. Like MissScarlet said, if I drink too much I get heartburn so I just limit my coffee drinking to the morning. Nothing after noon. I drink two very large mugs each morning. From time to time I will cut back to one, but I really do enjoy that second cup. If I am visiting someone and it's later in the day, I will drink a cup if offered. I don't like decaf and would rather not have any coffee than to drink decaf.

Never, ever, ever do I refuse a cup at someone's house if offered to me.

Critical do you remember going to that TEA HOUSE in San Juan Cap ..... that was so AWESOME!! I so want to go back there. What was the name of that TEA HOUSE? Do you remember? The Teahouse on Los Rios! It was owned by long time family friends and is now owned by their grandson. LOVE that place. The Victorian home off the back deck is where they (the former owners) live, BTW. The ordeal they went through and the read tape involved in moving that house to that location....OY! We heard ALL about it. They even had to get equipment out to raise the telephone/electrical wires so the house could get through.
The Triple Crown Salad has been my order for years, although the last time I went there I had the English Pasty with the real English gravy. OMG. Amazing. Their Private Reserve tea is my favorite. It'll be a while before I'm able to go there again, so I'm glad I have a tin of that tea!
Maybe when this pandemic is all over AND I'm in SoCal for a visit, we can do brunch there!

Oh Critical YES!! ABSOLUTELY!! That TEA HOUSE was just so lovely!! Their MENU is FAB!! The people (owners and staff) were all wonderful!! I also loved the fact no one inside or on the deck (where we sat) were using any kind of social media. No one on their phones, no one texting. Guests were enjoying their tea and their treats, and relaxing in that very unique location. Wow, I can't even imagine what they went through to get that house there. Esp knowing the RR is close by. IMPRESSIVE.
