Any Team Brijo fans in the house?

Any Team Brijo fans in the house? Me! I was sad to see them in the bottom two last night. I saw some problems with their dance, but I think going first is a disadvantage, and I'm guessing they would have had slightly higher numbers if they'd gone later.

I need to figure out how to get updates from this forum. I thought it was a lost cause for a bit there. Glad to see I'm not the only one. I was equally discouraged seeing them in the bottom two. Wholly undeserved. I don't know how to rally the fans to get them more votes though and I'm so scared we won't be able to pull them through.

That last costume was hideous. I was looking at that, more than the dancing. I think the judges know Johnny has potential.

That last costume was hideous. I was looking at that, more than the dancing. I think the judges know Johnny has potential. I agree that he has a lot of potential. I think he'll continue realizing that potential the longer he is in the competition. It took me a bit to figure out what the rationale behind that costume was but I enjoyed the dance for the energy and the joy he brought to it. Hoping he can bring that same joy tomorrow night and stay out of the bottom two.

He definitely has potential. I think the judges are judging him against a standard that is based on what other figure skaters have done as opposed to what past dance experience he actually has. I think he has said that his family could never afford to give him the dance lessons that so many skaters have taken, so he came into the competition with less experience than they seem to think he had. He has learned to move gracefully on the ice, but I think when it comes to dancing he's learning a lot for the first time.

Don't forget to vote tonight during the voting window. MissGriss is so right. Johnny hasn't had the dance experience of some but he makes up for it with a strong work ethic and a desire to do well. International fans need to use a VPN but are still able to vote. Let's keep him in this competition!

I'm so impressed with what he's done today. I follow him on Instagram, and I don't remember the exact order of things, but he was up at 4:45 this morning, went through full hair and makeup for dress rehearsal, did the dress rehearsal (or maybe it was camera blocking), then went back home, took of the makeup, did his broadcast commentary of the skating competition that's currently happening, came back to the show, got in makeup again, did the dress rehearsal (or some show-related thing), and danced on the show, will do press call after the show and then go home and collapse. Quite the day.

Wow! That is so much work. I don't know that I could do all of that with the nerves I would have. He's such a professional. Plus he killed that dance! If not for the terrible fog machine I wonder if he would have gotten a w0 or two. Either way I'm just so happy he lived to dance another week and didn't have to suffer through the bottom two.
