I listened to the MTV Challenge podcast with Tori Deal and Aneesa, Michaela was a guest. They explained the first daily challenge. After they were activated they were taken to a hotel and given pizza. All had been drinking and needed to sober up as production does not allow the cast to partake of a challenge or elimination round while drunk. One female cast member was quite ill up to the international agents showing up. Michaela mentioned that she would have preferred to go into elimination against Ashley or Amanda. Ashley because as a two time winner she is a threat, but mainly because she drinks, A LOT, and is very loud and chaotic. In fact getting rid of Ashley and Hughie would bring peace or less chaos to the Challenge House. Amanda because she is smaller.
Michaela felt bad that she had to throw Michelle under the bus during the house deliberation and she thought she had really hurt Michelle and lost a potential relationship for life, but later when Michaela watched episode 1 and saw how Michelle and Tommy planned to throw Michaela under the bus and that Michelle was OK after the elimination, Michaela realized what an actor Michelle was and had fooled Michaela.
Michaela mentioned that for some reason something about herself leads people to target her; as that happened in both of her seasons on Survivor and here on the Challenge.
Michaela said she would like to play the Challenge again. Aneesa asked M. if she would change her strategy next time M. was on the Challenge. M said she would. Aneesa said it is a good idea and not to use the same strategy over and over again. DUH! Aneesa take a look in the mirror when you say things like that. OMG so self unaware.
Tori and Aneesa also had an earlier podcast going over the list of cast members. Aneesa can get arrogant about participating in the Challenge for so long and made a statement comparing the veteran Challenge cast to elite athletes. Yeap, Aneesa thinks of herself as an elite athlete, that is why her training regiment is so difficult and her cardio so awesome to the point after 15 years she blew away her competition in Season 1 of All Stars and beat cast members who have not been in a Challenge for over 15 years. Delusional much?
PS: For those who did not watch All Stars Season 1, Aneesa placed dead last. Big Easy who is notorious for having bad cardio and has not done anything about it in the last 15 years beat Aneesa up the mountain in the last leg of the finale. In fact, Big Easy stayed behind and waited for Aneesa for moral support.

Episode 2 - "Bertha" - August 18, 2021
NOTE: Prior the "Heli Heist" challenge in episode 2, it was announced Lauren had been "deactivated" and had to leave the game. Her departure was not shown on-screen. Amber joined the competition during the "Heli Heist" challenge as a replacement for Lauren.
Absolutely another fabulous episode.
Fessy you are a f***ing son to even suggest Amber B be eliminated. For what? You are scared that she will come after you? It's a big house, and you still have over 30 people in it, this is not the time or place. This is why I don't like Fessy. He automatically goes after the weak one. Yes, I am talking Amber B. This is why I am absolutely positive if this was a different time and place he would have not a problem killing women and children and not blink an eye.
Ashley Smashley is such a better nickname then Millionaire Mitchell. Can this woman even hold her alcohol?
Emy! Emotional is a very light adjective to describe this female.
Impressed with Josh's performance at the house vote discussion.
Devin is a hot commodity in this game two episodes in a row.

I was so mad that Kelz was eliminated, just as I was so mad that Michaela got eliminated last week. I don’t like this team vs team dynamic because the weaker partner will drag the stronger one down, which is exactly what happened in these first 2 eliminations. I would’ve loved for Kelz to be able to go head to head with Fessy in an elimination. Fessy was definitely intimidated by having another guy around who is every big as big as he is, so of course he wanted to take him out.
Can’t stand Fessy.

This has never or rarely been an individual game. Mob mentally does rule. You have to adapt to the environment and the changes in the game. Just because you go into elimination does not mean you don't come back into the house. Out of 34 players only 6 to 8 will make the final. Only one or two will win. I was absolutely thrilled that the vets were able to work together for two house votes. Also if you watch MTV's Aftermath on YouTube TJ is sharing who is voting for whom. The majority of the rookies also voted Michaela and Kelz into elimination, it was not a vets only decision. Considering the amount of people in this game and the way it is played the good 80% of them will be eliminated. Also everyone of the cast gets an appearance fee. Michaela and Kelz got a vacation to Croatia and probably close to $40,000 or more for 3 weeks of work, not bad. Many of the rookies are doing this for the celebrity. Being a reality celebrity is a career over in Europe vs here in the US. Fessy is an idiot.

And as I said last week, the rookies were very foolish to not stick together to try to get a vet out. Now they’ll keep getting put in elimination until they’re all out. Hopefully at least one rookie will make it to the finale. There will be vets that I’ll hate to see get eliminated as well. And some that I’ll love every second of seeing them get eliminated. I love that Amber B is back & how Fessy’s ego can’t stand it. How long before he screws over another buddy (Josh)?

Please ask one of the moderators to look at this post. Please provide examples. I have never attacked you, but I certainly feel that coming off your current response. I have never feuded with you, I don't do that to anyone, I don't interact with you as far as I can remember over other threads, so I have no clue how or why you think I am "attacking" you. Thoughts:
I have gone over many articles, podcasts, and YouTube channels and have read many intense and angry comments from posters fuming that the rookies have the numbers, the rookies need to form an alliance and oust the vets from the competitions. I have only seen this successfully done during War of the Worlds and War of the Worlds 2 because there was a large British component who already knew each other, spoke the same language and where from a similar culture and were plotting from Day one in Tent City. There were only maybe 3 contestants which English was a second language that that was Alan (Mexico), JP (Brazil), and Turbo (Turkey). Turbo was a unique specimen very much a CT type of player, quiet and under the radar and able to be physical, survive the house (mental), and do puzzles. In previous seasons MTV would have brought back Turbo instead of banning him from the game. Look at CT he went berserk several times yet he is a mainstay of the challenge.
Currently the new batch of rookies are from 9 different countries. Seven are from the USA, three are from the UK/Ireland and are native English speakers. The remaining nine players are from eight countries and English is a second or third language. They don't know each other, except the two from Romania Survivor, and the two from Big Brother Nigeria. The majority have not done their homework, they don't know what the show is (more physical competition vs dating/social) except another opportunity for them to get more air time (become famous). These newbies know to get more air time they need to be big personalities, have big drama, make big messes. Being a Reality TV Star is a big thing in Europe vs the US which translated to big followings on Instagram and selling products. So the idea of 19 very diverse personalities the majority very ego (me, me, me) driven actually taking the time to think things through and realize they have to work together will take some time and lets face it some will throw in the their lot with the Vets as that is far easier. Lets face it the only reason Amber B became a Challenge Champion her rookie season is that she two great partners in Darrel and CT, the only two cast weaker than she was as opponents in elimination, and she is a gifted long distance runner. Potentially, if each leg of the final was time based for each individual she could have won because of her running ability. She can eat, she can do some puzzles, and even with being delayed with 15 or 20 minute time outs for not being able to do math she still might have come in first.

Thoughts on Nelson:
I am just watching episode zero and episode one again and it is so funny to see Nelson getting so mad at not being able to open the safe during the first daily challenge. This is why Nelson will never win the Challenge. As much as both Cory and Nelson have been making those statements to the tune of 8 or 9 seasons what has changed about their behavior and game strategy? Not much. Now that Cory has children he is more responsible but Nelson still lives in the moment, still likes to drink, to dance, to cuddle, to hump. Have either of these players learned to swim or swim better? Have either of these players learned how to do math? Have either of these players learned to at least do one or two puzzles? I think the answer to all these questions is NO. Isn't the definition of insanity to keep doing the same thing over and over and over again and expect different results? Nelson is physically strong, he is athletic, he is easy to get along with, but lets face facts the dude is DUMB.
How many vets didn't see the numbers and letters in different colors on the cinder blocks, they were standing there supposedly for 3 to 4 hours. Josh Martinez said it was 45 minutes. TJ also threw a snakes and spiders all over them. They were all rather hungover but folks really? You know the Powers That Be would do something like this. Even Kaycee and Emanuel had to run back to the cinder blocks to check the numbers and letters

Season 37 Episode 3 - "Truce or Dare" - August 25, 2021
Well with 15 teams on a daily challenge and 2 teams at a time going we were only really shown the most flamboyant events.
The daily challenge was truly dangerous in regards to the tides, and waves throwing the players around.
Tacha and Jerimiah were truly the least impressive of the teams. Girl had a life jacket on and still tried to climb poor Jeremiah, I am surprised no one interfered because there was a possibility of him drowning. The team made themselves an easy target.
I have seen nothing about Tacha to impress me. N O T H I N G. Tacha's superpower is talking over people. It did not matter if Tacha went against Michele she would have still lost.
Tacha supposedly knows the social game she could have named any other team besides Michele and Corey L.
Tori at least was smart and played the long game and threw in rookies. I was surprised she threw in Berna instead of Michele.
Poor Tommy, did he hit his head in the cave? They had no helmets on during the daily challenge and it looks as if the waves tossed him into a cave wall.
While Tommy is a Survivor winner who I really didn't want to win, I still don't get much of a personality from him.
I also never got the Michele love. I must admit I was also disappointed when Michele won her season of Survivor. I thought she had not personality, her confessionals where bland, she didn't show much of anything and when people were talking her up coming into this season I just thought she was a big blob of vanilla pudding.
I will say I am changing my mind about Michele, I like her confessionals, she is smart and strategic, I never ever saw that aspect on Survivor. I have heard that Jeff Probst is not a fan so maybe he influenced the editing. I am getting how maybe she did deserve her win. I must say it is refreshing to see a female be smart, strategic, polidick, and not be a crazy beyotch.
The whole Tori in charge thing confuses. Why is it always such a train wreck? Hope someone can explain it to me.
Summary:
28 players left 15 Veterans 13 Rookies
Only one rookie rookie team left and that is Michele and Corey L.
Will the Vet Alliance hold?
Will the next elimination be a male only eliminantion?

I have been listening to several podcasts:
Tacha was angry with Tori because Berna was a roommate and Michele was not. I don't think Tacha would have won against either person but she wanted to compete against a non-roommate.
Priscilla said that Kelz had been making "you are my number one" deals with vets and rookies. AHA!
I really appreciate the MTV Official Podcast and the MTV Challenge Aftermath shows for the interviews with Michele and Michaela. I got a much better view of each person than I ever did from their confessionals on Survivor.

Looking forward to tonight's episode, will Fessy win the daily challenge again and throw in Amber B?
The foreshadowing for this possibility has been very high.
Normally I don't like spoiler stuff like this but even the previews for today's episode hinted at this happening.
Whatever happens, I hope it is awesome.

Episode 4 - "Messy" - September 1, 2021
Very explosive, messy episode.
Very Big Brother Alliance centric.
Why is Fessy so obsessed with Amber B, why? It was way too soon to target Amber B. Maybe Tori and Fessy should partner again the have similar terrible political games.
Ever notice Fessy will apologize when confronted by Cory in an earlier episode to have a conversation with Nelson and in this episode with Amber. Fessy did both Amber and Nelson wrong it was up to him to reach out an apologize, not during an episode because someone told him to or because it might be good game play. There were a couple of months between seasons that was the perfect time for Fessy to reach out to Nelson and Amber and apologize. It is smart social play if nothing else. Fessy is an idiot.
Kaycee is coming across very much like Fessy but she is more social and likeable and folks let her get away with it.

I’m so glad Amber and Hughie won, although I wish Michelle could have stuck around longer. I hope she comes back in a future season.
I became an Amber fan about halfway through last season. I can’t stand watching Fessy, so I’m thrilled his attempt to get Amber out royally failed. And go figure Josh being the voice of reason to Fessy (tthat is, until he started screaming and yelling at Fessy lol.)
Agree that Kaycee is looking a bit like Fessy Jr. Not a good look for her.

And go figure Josh being the voice of reason to Fessy (tthat is, until he started screaming and yelling at Fessy lol.) Agree that Kaycee is looking a bit like Fessy Jr. Not a good look for her. The casting director made some very good decisions with the rookies this year. I never liked Michell, Tommy, or Michaela on their Survivor seasons, and all three were on more than one season. I must say the way MTV did the confessionals and the interviews on both the MTV Aftermath show (YouTube) and the MTV Offical Podcast, I really got a chance to see and hear another side to both the ladies and would really like to see them again on the Challenge as they are both well rounded players, smart, articulate, strategic, and can play the physical game, have good personalities, and have good confessionals. Ester is a gem also. I am liking the layers of some of these ladies like Priscilla, Berna, Emy. To be honest the rookie men are not as interesting as they seem to be all variations of the "charming, challenge beast" who doesn't need an alliance or think or care about strategy because either his charm or physical abilities with give him the win. The Charming Challenge Beast is Renan, Logan, Emanuel, Ed, Jeremiah, Kelz, Corey L, Nam. The two remaining rookie men Gabo and Hughie are neither charming nor challenge beasts. As for Amber, I don't hate her and am not a fan. I do think she shocked a lot of people winning last season's challenge. I don't think Amber has much of a personality, she just does not project much of anything during a confessional. I don't think she is that strategic. I do think Amber listened to her partners, is loyal to a fault, tries, and can run and run well. I do think Amber was lucky and in the right time and right place and had the right partner. She earned her win. If it had been a different season she might not have. I also don't think Amber is vindictive or vengeful which will take her far in the game.

I can’t stand Fessy or Kaycee. I am so hoping they both get eliminated, the sooner the better. I never liked Fessy, even on BB, but I absolutely can't stand him on The Challenge. He's shown time & time again what a snake he is. I'm getting to where I don't like Kaycee either because she just always defends anything Fessy does. I mean, girl, he's the reason you hurt your knee in the final! She'll see the light one day, hopefully soon. Love that Amber is still there! hahahahaha Fessy!

Absolutely agree, I don't know how Kaycee could forgive or forget that. A ruptured patella tendon is not a small injury and it is something that she will know is there for the rest of her life. I was very surprised to see her competing this season. Kaycee had knee surgery on November 20, 2020; Season 37 - Spies, Lies, and Allies started filming in Croatia in April 2021, barely 4 months after her surgery. Research does show that a patient can heal in a 4 month timeframe if they have the resources as far as physical therapy and the drive to do rehabilitation. It is recommended that office workers take a month to heal before going back to the office and that manual laborers take 4 to 6 months before returning to work. Complete recovery takes 6 months to a year. It is recommended that a patient does no running until 12 to 14 weeks after the surgery, and can return to sports 6 months after the surgery. Being in the Challenge is a huge risk for Kaycee, at 33 years old is it worth winning half a million dollars and after taxes closer to $300,000 for a permanent knee injury? If she damages that knee this season will she ever be able to come back?

It was very obvious last season that Fessy did not have a lot of respect for the athletic capabilities of the majority of the females. His ego still cannot recover from his mistakes. To be honest a lot of people did not see any potential in Amber B. I was surprised she won. That is what some players don't get about the Challenge, especially the Charming Male Challenge Beasts. You don't have to be the strongest, the smartest, to win this game. You need some luck, and lets face it Amber was lucky having Darrell and then CT as a partner. She did have a huge hidden asset, her running ability, and she was loyal to her alliance and to her partners. That is what I luv about about the Challenge and Survivor, when the least expected person wins.
What those winners have is heart.
Too bad Aneesa doesn't have any heart, she has mouth but no heart. Yes, I had to stick it to Aneesa.

I was listening to Hughie on a podcast, and it turns out he is well known in Ireland and has been on a lot of reality tv shows in his native Ireland. The hosts of the podcast asked him about why didn't the rookies work together to eliminate the vets? Hughie's response is that everyone in the house is out for themselves even the vets, they just knew enough to create an alliance to protect themselves. Hughie also explained that in a reality tv show you are totally cut off from the world and you get paranoid, and totally invested in the game and what happens which accounts for the high drama. The rookies were listening to the vets and everyone was just trying to protect themselves. The rookies didn't know who to trust. Hughie said he thought being partners with Ashley would protect him, and many rookies thought that about their partners, he didn't blame them. He also said folks like Michaela and Corey L were trying to form alliances to protect themselves just like the vets had done for themselves, just that the vets were more successful as Michaela and Corey L would have done to the vets what was done to them. Hughie also said that a lot of people get upset when on reality tv the most deserving person does not win that it was not fair, well the shows are not set up to be fair, it is more about surviving from one stage to the next. I really like that statement "it is more about surviving from one stage to the next", that is probably the most accurate statement of how these shows work.

Episode 5 - "Good Vibes and Gladiator" - September 8, 2021
Fessy chooses not to apologize to Josh after the outburst of last week's elimination.
Fessy snaps at Amber B when she reacts to his comment about "everyone here is playing a clean game".
Everyone in the Big Brother Alliance (Kaycee, Fessy, Nany, Tori) don't understand Josh's outburst, and Fessy continues his "well Amber never talked to me" story. On this week's MTV Aftermath on YouTube Amber states that she did have a conversation with Fessy one week before she was sent into elimination.
This episode does answer the question "Why don't the rookies form a rookie alliance?" Because they are stupid. It is pretty obvious that the rookies see the rookie/vet partnerships as a form of protection.
Most ridiculous event: Hughie and Gabo explosion during the house vote discussion.
House vote: Everyone but Big T and Logan voted for Aneesa and Logan. Big T and Logan voted for Emy and Gabo.
At the end of this episode there are: 24 players left. 14 vets - 7 men and 7 women 10 rookies - 5 men and 5 women

Episode 6 - "Alien" - September 15, 2021
Rat Bastards edited to a 60 minute episode with a cliffhanger and will have another 60 minute episode next week. I hate it when production does that when I am used to a 90 minute episode.
All of this mess is a way of showcasing the Big Brother Alliance blowup, Amber B Blindside.
Highlights:
Didn't like that Hughie didn't even try in the daily challenge, you never know you might win, and it is practice for the final if you get there.
Josh & Ester hookup.
Emy sings a song.
Berna, Ester say that Amber is fake. Big T is bored with Amber's complaints.
Amanda suggests that Fessy apologize to Josh. Fessy asks why, and Amanda says because you are in the wrong. Fessy doesn't think he should apologize or talk to Amber because he assumes that if she gets any power she will just target him. He doesn't get it at all. What an idiot.
