Piece of garbage, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Wow, we really enjoyed it. It could have been trimmed by about 20 minutes, but overall, I'm glad I saw it.

I am not going to disparage anyone's taste in movies and it shocks me that this film is currently number one on Netflix. I figure people must be desperate for something to watch. Again not trying to insult anyone, but I thought this movie was terrible. libgirl2 did you enjoy it because it was so silly/stupid/dumb, was it just total over the top escapism for you?

I liked it because it was twisty and a surprise. I went in not knowing anything and thought, oh it is just some hijacking movie and it surprised me. Was it the greatest movie of all time? No, but I liked it and that is all that matters. And I didn't find it silly, stupid or dumb. Or even over the top, just entertaining.

I liked it too. It's a syfy/horror genre movie. None of those are going to be Citizen Kane. The only thing I didn't like about it was the dubbing and that's because I hate dubbing. I thought it was an interesting take on that genre and had some nice twists. Would I have paid to see it in the theater? Probably not, but that's the case with most movies.

The dubbing indeed was not good and really distracted from the film. For me the twists were so obvious and it was very predictable that with the bad dubbing did not make for a fun viewing.

Am I the only one who watches with the original language on/English subtitles? Usually the dubbing sucks so much it takes away from the movie.

That's how I watch foreign films. I love the sound of the original language and it matches their lips and my eyes track English subtitles like there is a rhythm to it.

I didn't even bother to look for the subtitle option. I was working on something that required more of my attention than I could have given to a subtitled film (the reason why so many foreign films are in my Netflix list, unwatched).
I've never seen ANY movie dubbed well. They're all terrible. I just think of old Godzilla movies from my childhood. I do find that, with subtitles, if it's a language I know, I get a little distracted. There was a Russian movie I watched years ago and the translation wasn't accurate. Drove me nuts. I can't imagine how it must be for people who are fluent.

Yes, I wouldn't pay to see it in theaters but I only go to to the theaters maybe once a year and usually for something epic like End Game.
