Naturally Thomas pulls Serena to get poor Joe worked up. I'm glad that she spoke to him before going on the date and that he understood...even if it was killing him.  Joe making fun of Thomas' pink short shorts. |

Thomas seems to enjoy being tall and talking about it.  He looks gigantic next to Serena, who's obviously tiny. They're all going to see how relentless Aaron is when he's got a beef with someone; he just doesn't stop! |

Here comes Riley and the ladies are swooning about him and his yummy arms. Taz is heating up even more than usual. He was her number one pick...only pick for paradise.
The guys seem to like him and don't seem to have anything bad to say about him. I like him too.
He is pulling the ladies and chatting away. Some guys are getting a bit nervous.

Taz on the other hand is furious that she didn't get picked and storms off the beach. Tre is confused why she is mad.

(I went to heat up some dinner and lo&behold, we had two threads! LOL! Thanks for merging....) I don't mind Riley, but he's not quite as attractive to me as many of the other guys there. Some of these guys must have special pheromones to appeal to the women that we're just not aware of. |

Thomas goes to talk to the guys and apologizes. He tells them that Serena didn't want to continue with him because of the drama. They give him some slack and say they want to see less talk and more action.
Meanwhile Serena is being grilled about the date and says the day part was good, but she didn't like how he spoke about Tre and naturally Taz spills to Tre. Thomas is now dead to him. Oh the drama.

Maurissa brings out the big guns for her date. The girls are front and center. Jaws are dropping all over the beach. Nobody recognized her. Normally she looks so sweet and innocent and says this is her first real date. Next thing you know on their date they are being asked how many people they have slept with and neither wants to share. She admits she masturbates every day and Riley is all over that. The chemistry is off the charts and they are making out while Connor is back on the beach playing his ukulele and thinks Riley is a stand up guy and he trust him. |

Natasha is gorgeous, and she's being strung along by Brendan, who's likely waiting for Pieper to show up. I feel bad for her, and wish she wouldn't doubt herself, but there was plenty of conversation last episode about him and Pieper. She shouldn't be so confused about why he hasn't made any moves on her yet, it's not that complicated and she's got all the information she needs, she's just not seeing it.

Shockingly he ended up cheating on her. She was surprised, I wasn't. Cute song by Connor at the end there...while Maurissa is in the boom boom room boom booming with Riley.  |

Yikes, Maurissa!!! Riley was too smooth: "I know a place we could go." I cringed! Even though they were having a great time, great chemistry, they JUST met. She should've put him off, because that made her look much too gullible and naïve. Hope she doesn't get her heart broken.
Meanwhile, Connor's going to be heartbroken!
I couldn't see who the new person was on the preview for next week, but there was some kissing going on - with Jessenia?

From the way it looks, we're only going to get Rose Ceremonies every other episode. At least for now. I don't really mind this. Getting one RC per week is fine. Thomas is the most despised guy in Paradise this year. It seems like the main thing he did to make the other guys hate him so much is to actually admit he was hoping to be the next Bachelor, something I'd bet the vast majority of contestants wanted too. He's a tall good looking guy & I wonder if that was his main problem. If I remember, he was one of the ones targeted by the others. That season's Bully Club was good at getting rid of their targets. When Maurissa & Riley were going at it in the BoomBoom Room, I thought of what she told him earlier: That she'd never been on a real date before. Well, no wonder. The guys don't have to bother taking her on a date.  I thought Serena & Joe were really sweet after her date with Thomas. She knew quality when she had it. Too bad Connor had to be hurt like that. He's such a sweet guy. I liked that those 2 girls were sitting with him on the beach while he was singing & playing the ukulele. They seemed to be enjoying themselves. All in all the couples were a bit lacking tonight. Lance Bass was good as host, but not nearly as good as David Spade. I liked his musical intro. I think we'll still have him next Monday. It looks like they'll be switching hosts after every Rose Ceremony. |

I think she may have low self-esteem, having admitted she needs a LOT of reassurance all the time, and maybe because she was overweight at one point, she isn't convinced that she's truly as hot as she is now! It came off as so desperate when she went off with him. And he seemed slimy to take advantage. I agree with you about Lance and David Spade -- both good, but Spade was pretty funny. I also liked the musical intro for Lance, and how the contestants were singing and dancing along! It was great! |

Yeah. I wasn't super crazy about that dynamic between Maurissa and Riley. Her: "I'm really insecure and need lots of reassurance." Him: "I can tell you exactly what you want to hear! Wanna have sex?" Her: "OKay. But for the record, I don't just WANT to be reassured, I NEED it! Me: "YIKES! P.S. I don't have a problem with them having sex. They're consenting adults, so this isn't a slut-shaming post. I was more worried about that she was giving him all her power. But I saw someone else say that it's really great that she knows herself and is saying upfront what she needs in a relationship, so I guess we'll see.  |
