What a surprisingly good film. It is fun. Very bloody and gory and deserves it's R rating. I love the plot twists. James Gunn, the director, knows how to pace a film and to move the story along, as well as moving through several timelines, but lets the audience know exactly where in the story they are.
Not for very young kids, too much blood, gore, violence, and bad language. This is a black (as in dark) comedic action film. There are lots of funny, and dumb moments.
I never went to the two previous Suicide Squad films as even the trailers were horrid, and it is a bit confusing if this film is the third in the franchise as at least 3 of the characters were in the previous films. However there were so many positive reviews about this movie I decided to see it and it was worth the risk.
