realityblurred reports that filming for season 33 has resumed, after being shut down in early 2020 due to the pandemic. Amazing Race 33 appears to be filming again, and using a charter plane - realityblurredThe show has charted its own jumbo jet in order to travel to all its locations. There are websites that track where planes take off and land, and people have been digging up the TAR's plane's movements over the past couple of weeks. Reportedly, many but not all of the teams who were racing when the show shut down last year are returning. No word yet on whether there will be replacement teams added, or if they will go with a smaller cast. Filming has just started so there's no premier date set, but a CBS executive stated last week that the show will appear on this year's schedule (which would mean it will debut by summertime). |

So excited!!! My favorite show! I've been catching up on all the shows I've been missing and was catching up on Tough as Nails yesterday. I realized I just love watching Phil.  but I still love TAR best and was hoping it would come back. |

I am so happy to hear that this will premiere on January 5 ! they had to stop filming in 2020 due to covid but apparently the same group of racers finished racing in September 2021

I’m excited to seeing Ryan Ferguson and Dusty Harris compete. I remember Ryan’s story from several years ago and how, at the age of 17, he was wrongfully convicted of murder and spent almost 10 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. The conviction was finally overturned after high-profile Attorney Kathleen Zellner worked his case pro bono. I hope he's still as humble as he was when he won his freedom.

The article below explains again how they managed to pull it off. I am so glad they took the steps they did. (Sorry for the teams that were not able to return to the Amazing Race after starting the race back in February of 2020.)
