I am glad she is in a SOBER HOUSE now but why did she wait until the drug was in the past to go? As she stated she is finally dealing with this now but the drug issue was from a long time ago. “ I have been living in a sober house . . . I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in my past. I never went to a place to get treatment". Knowing nothing about drug abuse and rehab .... but if she is no longer on drugs why would she decide after the fact to go to a sober house? I have also read allot of articles about her husband Kevin being a real control freak in HER life. ![:ohno](//storage.proboards.com/6943657/images/CmzmziJXIEoSdtEKIUiz.gif) And that he MADE her go. Because it's like alcoholism, once an addict always an addict. Maybe she saw things in her life leading her down a path to falling back into drug abuse so she decided to cut it off before she got there.
She needs to dump his cheating butt.
Yes her IDIOT CHEATING HUSBAND. ![:wallbang](//storage.proboards.com/6943657/images/qUTu0XnvYzOyEZnIwBEu.gif)

She expressed appreciation to people sending her words of encouragement. She mentioned Kelly and Ryan several times as well as Hoda. There were other TV people whom I don't recall...and Steven Tyler who certainly has had his troubles with drugs.

Pleaseeeeee............ Really Dr. Dre......do you think in one million years your daughter would have been DENIED entrance to USC after you gave USC $70 MIL?????? ![:wallbang](//storage.proboards.com/6943657/images/qUTu0XnvYzOyEZnIwBEu.gif) p.s. I don't care if was six or sixty years ago. Even if she was a straight D student, USC would still have a spot for her. REVEALED: Dr. Dre made a $70 MILLION donation to USC and has a building named after him on campus after boasting his daughter got into the college 'all on her own' in the wake of admission scandalwww.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6844465/Dr-Dre-says-daughter-got-USC-despite-70m-donation.html

It's also possible that she is really smart and got good grades and high test scores and he's proud of that. But with that donation, we'll never know. Sigh.
If she is all of those things, it makes me sad that her accomplishments are now in question.

I'm not so sure that I blame Dr. Dre for anything other than a lack of situational awareness. His donation benefits a great number of students, and it was made years ago. Maybe his daughter really wanted to go to USC, what was she supposed to do? I'd also hate to see rich people hold back donations to universities because their kid might one day want to go to that school.
Having said all that, he and his daughter should have kept their traps shut and gone on with life. It was pretty dumb to try to highlight their success with what is going on, especially at that school. She could have quietly gone to school, receive an education and had a career and life. Now, doubt is cast over her and her accomplishments all because daddy wanted to look cool and throw some shade. Dumb idea Dre.

It's the kind of post that you share with your friends and family who would appreciate the humor. But it wasn't a smart move to share that with the public.

I agree . $70 million is a lot to give and has had benefits to previous students and will still be benefiting students in the future. I think that his daughter really did make it in on her merits or hopefully he would not be dumb enough to post something that can easily be figured out (if her grades, etc. were good enough to qualify her). She has classmates that know if she's a lazy student or rather dull. But, bragging is never a good look to start with. On top of that, the current environment makes it particularly a stupid time to post such a thing.

IMO, when someone makes a statement (unsolicited?) like Diana Ross did, it feels like they're trying to minimize the horrible things the person did. I don't think anyone argued about MJ's gifts. That's not at issue. This is about the terrible things he did to children, so trying to compliment him as an artist in the wake of those accusations is tone deaf and insensitive.
I think both DR and Barbra are probably so "above it all," that they really have no clue about how actual people feel OR realize that the world has changed since the times when their public would hang on their every word.

So multiple News organizations are reporting the charges against Jussie Smollett will be Dropped. There is currently an emergency hearing going on in Chicago. Shockingly this comes just a Day after his attorney was charged with extortion in the Nike case.

My guesses they found out his story was true, his attorneys charge was a conflict in someway, the investigation into Chicago PD because of his case found biases or he was part of some sting operation like we see on TV lol

I don't get this at all. There was so much hoopla around here about this case and now its all done and erased? Weird.

I don't know whether Jussie was innocent or not, but now that the charges have been dropped, we'll never have the chance to see what evidence would've been offered in a court of law. And unless new evidence turns up in the future, we'll never know for sure of what actually happened. And another thing we don't know is whether Jussie will ever get his life back and his career back! Somehow I kind of doubt it. I think the cloud of suspicion will always be over him.

His story is about as believable as a brontosaurus waking down the street. The police dept. must have done some things they weren't supposed to when handling the investigation.

Somehow I kind of doubt it. I think the cloud of suspicion will always be over him. Especially since the state's attorney's office said, "After reviewing all of the facts and circumstances of the case, including Mr. Smollett's volunteer service in the community and agreement to forfeit his bond to the City of Chicago, we believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case," I know I wouldn't willingly let go of $10,000 if I really had done nothing wrong. But, yes, there does seem to be a rush of judgment in the court of public opinion in many cases. It's a shame that we as a nation tend to assume guilt before innocence rather than the other way around.

So if it turns out that perhaps the brothers lied ... will they still pursue who actually attacked Jussie? Or do they come out of all this mess pretending it never happened.

Yeah. It's really confusing! In the brief statement I heard from the DA was that I think it said that there was some conflicting evidence and they decided to go a different direction with requiring him to do community service and they were keeping his $10,000 bond. The DA said that the police didn't do anything wrong. They also said that his record was not being wiped clean. That the charges would still be there but dropped. Seems to me like there had to be some reason that they aren't saying for why they dropped it. It really doesn't add up after all the uproar. Jussie said that he was just looking forward to getting back to work, but found myself wondering if he would have a job. Like you, Imperfect1, I have my doubts that he'll just be able to pick up where he left off with his life.

This is a huge mystery! HUGE! And from what I saw today the Superintendent of Police and Rahm Emanuel are LIVID!
Watching CNN earlier it was stated that just this past Friday the court was deciding on whether cameras would be allowed in the courtroom during Jussie S’s trial.
Then Tuesday morning “all charges dropped” ❓❓❓
The rumor is the prosecutors screwed up hence THEY were the ones dropping all the charges.
The Courts are stating JS was NOT exonerated......so he should not be telling people that.
As far as the City of Chicago......JS is still guilty of what he is charged.
A name to google is KIM FOXX. #corruption

Apparently the FBI got involved and there's now an internal investigation going on within the CPD because of the leaks (some of which were flatout lies) and because of how they got some of the testimony for the Grand Jury. Basically it probably boiled down to having a 15 count indictment to "We messed up. We'll remove the charges and expunge your record, and you don't sue us."
I hope he sues anyway. They completely ruined that man's life.
On another subject, apparently it's Wendy Williams husband's mistress who is the person leaking info to the Daily Mail about Wendy, the baby and the affair. Word around the campfire says she's the one who sent the DM that picture of she and Kevin on holiday. Another, more horrible rumor says that Wendy's shoulder injury is a result of Kevin hitting her when she confronted him about the baby. At this point she just needs to get out of this marriage and pay him off to be free of him because he's a terrible person.
