After the Harry Potter series, my favorite series starts with "Nice Dragons Finish Last". Oh, and all the Mitch Rapp series. There are others, but not at the tip of my tongue.

Trying to choose a favorite book is very difficult. I am a big reader. I love the Harry Potter series, Jane Eyre, and Persuasion.

My favorite will always be Ender's Game. When I read it now, it feels like coming home. It's been a big part of my life in a lot of ways.
But I am an avid reader so I have plenty of other books that could/should/might've been pasado ultimo had I read them first.
If anyone is on Goodreads and wants to connect, let me know!

Number 9 Dream by David Mitchell. The way it's written is like a dream state.

I love A Tale of Two Cities and Little Women. I actually never read 'Little Women' and I'm reading it now. Actually I'm savoring it.

I just did the "post 7 books that had an impact on your life" thing that is floating around Facebook. The books I posted, which to me seems as good a place as any to determine my absolute favorites were - A Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, 11/22/63, A Man Called Ove, The Language of Flowers, Ramona The Pest, You ARe Special, and Me. As honorable mentions I'd add The Poisonwood Bible and A Long Way Down.

I have many books I love, but I'm Outlander obsessed. It's the only book series that I've read multiple times. The prologue in book 1 totally pulled me in. --------------------
“Outlander Prologue” By: Diana Gabaldon
People disappear all the time. Ask any policeman. Better yet. ask a journalist. Disappearances are bread-and-butter to journalists.
Young girls run away from home. Young children stray from their parents and are never seen again. Housewives reach the end of their tether and take the grocery money and a taxi to the station. International financiers change their names and vanish into the smoke of imported cigars.
Many of the lost will be found, eventually, dead or alive. Disappearances, after all, have explanations.
Usually.

I'm just here looking for book recs! The only books I can't get into are romance novels, & pretty much anything supernatural. I'm also not into "period pieces" (not sure what to actually call them). I really like mysteries, suspense, & true crime. I don't like Mary Higgins Clark books though. They're so cheesy to me. No offense to anyone who does! They're just not for me.
