Haven't seen the movie yet, but the Jurassic Blizzard at DQ is all kinds of yummy.

Just got back from the movie. I really enjoyed it, but I love all of them- lol. I did figure out one of the major plot points early, but it was still very enjoyable.

I love JP, but I'm going to pass on this one. {Spoiler} I love dinos, and I draw the line at seeing them running for their lives and crying as the smoke, fire, and lava engulfs them. I heard that the way that scene is done is very upsetting, and I don't want to see it.

I saw it last night. To be honest, the first Jurassic Park was the only one I actually liked. All the others have paled in comparison.
To me, the characters aren't very likeable and/or memorable, there are too many last minute saves, and too much condemnation of mankind in general for playing God. The whole series, including the first movie, comes across as environmentally preachy, and I hate that!! I just want to enjoy seeing dinosaurs, spare me the lecture.
I read the book Jurassic Park after I saw the first movie and the book was soooo much better than the movie! I haven't read any other Michael Crichton books but I think I'll put that on my list of things to do in 2018.

I had read the book ages ago and didn't really want to see the first movie as they differ so much. I did eventually see the first film and it is good in it's own right. The trouble with sequels unless you are Marvel Studios and have a 10 yr plan is that they end up being horrible. I did hear that Fallen Kingdom is a good title for this film as it certainly has "fallen".

I saw this recently and I thought it was better than the previous one. There wasn't much filler. Toby Jones is a good actor, he seems to be in a lot of movies/tv shows. They should bring back Sam Neill.
