The new host will be Jesse Palmer. There has been no official announcement yet regarding the identity of the new Bachelor.

So Clayton is the new Bachelor. They must have been desperate. Surprised to see no comments here. He doesn't interest me at all, so I doubt I'll watch.

So Clayton is the new Bachelor. They must have been desperate. Surprised to see no comments here. He doesn't interest me at all, so I doubt I'll watch. I'll watch, but I'm surprised they didn't feature him more during the season. They had to have had more footage than we saw. For someone who made it that far he was pretty much a nonentity. On the bright side, we didn't see anything negative. I'll give the guy a chance. |

I'll watch, but I'm surprised they didn't feature him more during the season. They had to have had more footage than we saw. For someone who made it that far he was pretty much a nonentity. They featured him during the group date when the guys met some of Michelle's students, and he let the girls paint his fingernails. He seemed to be the guy who was most popular among the kids. One of them announced to the camera that he should be the Bachelor ... as if that wasn't totally scripted and a major giveaway of things to come. Sorry, but he's definitely a nonentity to me, similar to Chris Soules. What's so interesting about him? I wonder how they're going to promo him ... good ol' down to earth fella looking for true love? Big whoop. |

Big whoop. Yeah, that slipped my mind. That was telling that the kids seemed to like him best, although it's possible the producers told them to. He does seem nice enough. I'd much rather have a nice guy than another "controversial" Bachelor. I always dislike those & usually don't watch the whole season. I don't want to see another one who is off putting. Like Nick the Weasel, or Arie the Horndog, Ben H - boring as watching paint dry, or Juan Pablo, or even Jesse Palmer the misogynistic egotist. I didn't care much for Matt's season because of all the producer manipulation & the exaggerated drama, although I did like Matt well enough. He was just a victim of sources other than himself. I also didn't care for his "connections" to the franchise. I'm ready for a nice guy we know next to nothing about. |

He reminds me of Colton who was one of the most boring bachelors ever. His season was boring, for a big reason though. I liked Colton( one of the few, I know) I'll always have that jump over the wall. |

Poor Clayton. The show really did a number on him. He's been messed up ever since.
Yeah, a lot of it was his own fault for very poor, selfish, uncaring & just plain stupid decisions.
But TPTB took his mistakes & used them for everything they were worth & then some.
He's more than paid for his mistakes & deserves to move on with his life.
He needed, and still needs, to stay far far away from Social Media & everything related to the show, but he didn't.
I hope he gets the help he needs to be able to chuck it all behind him.
