I was supposed to go to Scotland three years ago but had to cancel everything when my mom had her 2nd heart attack.

I really do, love this show. The father/ daughter team that got eliminated he felt so bad..we didn't see who was back, I'm hoping it was them. Donald where's your troosers.  |

I love the bagpipes. That was a cool challenge.
The road block I would absolutely go for the barrels rather than the musical stuff.
Kim and Penn the married couple just seem to be cruising this episode.

Kim and Penn win this leg and get a trip to Cape Cod. It should have been to Scotland.

I thought Akbah and his wife might be one of the teams who didn't return, but they showed them in the preview. Caro and her Love Island boy are for sure finished, right?
Even though I've lived it, seeing that "19 months later" was really jarring. Wow, it took that long for them to get going again.
I was happy for Penn and Kim!

Ugh! That “Donald where’s your trousers” is stuck in my head now!
I definitely would’ve gone with the barrel detour instead.
As soon as Natalia wanted to switch detours, I knew it was the kiss of death. Anytime anyone switches detours it almost never works out.
Next week should be interesting to see who all makes it back & if anyone has gotten better or worse.

Very happy for Kim and Penn coming in first.
Caro and Ray - I do not like him, he comes across as if he would hit her for her attitude. Red Flag potentially abusive boyfriend.
Caro is actually trying to work on the relationship.
However, who comes on the Amazing Race without learning how to drive a stick?
Arbar and Sharidan - it is painful to watch this couple race.
Arun and Natalia - you really need a positive attitude in this race and to focus even on a task you don't like. Natalia don't spend 5 minutes helping people.
Who comes on the Amazing Race without learning how to put together Ikea furniture it is needed training for following picture instructions. In other words READ THE CLUE.
It will be interesting to see who the new faces will be next week.

Kim/Penn fan so happy for them. Also, happy to see them being a kind couple under stress. Super sad about the dad/daughter - I really liked them, another top favorite of mine. Though honestly, I wouldn't have put money on them making it to the end (or even the top half, but I still hoped). If its Ray/Caro who do not come back - that would be my choice. I can't watch them interact much longer. It'll be a better race without them.
Im not sure about replacing teams, my initial reaction is to dislike that concept and hope one of the "new" teams do not win. Especially if they raced before. Oh oh, could it be the teams that were eliminated? I would be ok with that!

Based on the preview I'm worried one of my favorite teams isn't back. I guess I'll see next week since I've been avoiding the spoilers discussion thread. If you watch this weeks Holderness family vlog they said that as soon as the race was cancelled that was one of the things that upset them. They felt that they had an advantage over some of the other teams because they both knew how to drive stick (although the fact that in England the stick is on the other side threw them a little) and because they were older they were real good with map and compass since they grew up with GPS. They felt this advantage would be gone after the restart. Of course they totally understood, but I can see where they were coming from. |

I love that we have seen three different teams get a first place so far. I want to go to Scotland and wear a kilt! I am a little sad because a couple of my favorite teams are not returning for the race.
I won't spoil who they are, but I get it. Peoples life circumstances changed drastically from March 2020 until September 2021. This is a very unique season and I am really interested to see how exactly this is going to play out.
