Haute Hair Collab - It's time for a twist--a hair twist, that is. In this one day challenge, the designers are each teamed with an up-and-coming hairstylist for a head-to-toe fashion collaboration. The pairs will work together to create an innovative design and hair look that compliment each other that showcases their creativity to the judges and guest judge, model Precious Lee. Enjoy the show! -------------------------------
Aron goes home on his birthday, well the next day. I was surprised because he has been on the top . I know he was crappy a few shows ago and his jumpsuit was really bad but I thought Coral should have left. That model was a mess too. I wanted to see Arron collection. He went out with grace nice to see. That guest judge, Precious? Boy her girls were out but I do agree with her about the bra less girl need them lifted but not out. What the heck was Elaine wearing I read her and Precious outfits were Christian’s . I am a plain dresser and like the white leather out fit. I like most of her stuff. Can’t believe there is only 5 left.

I agree on the disappointment with Aaron. I was REALLY hoping he'd end up with one of those stories of coming in second all season long then going to the finals and winning, to realize what truly mattered was the final win. I enjoyed both his work and his attitude so much this season!

The white leather outfit was my favorite, and I didn't like Chasity's choice of fabric, I really liked the other one that she had picked out way better.

What kind of model would show up at a fitting( especially a model with big boobs) and not come with a bra? Where is the professionalism with these girls? I did not like that outfit. The top that the designer constructed as the bra top looked like something from a Simplicity pattern and the rest of the top was just a drape over it. Shocked that they gushed over it.
I was very disappointed in Aaron buying such cheap looking material and spending so little time on the second piece. He was my choice for the win.S What ever was with Precious' dress? She looked like both boobs were fully exposed===except the nips were missing. So the second half of her boobs were covered? I never heard of her as a top model and I can't imagine anybody trying to fit all of her into a runway dress.
And Bones continues to hang on. I had written him out weeks ago.

I thought the same thing about the bra. I remember when ANTM told them on go-sees that you had to wear a nude bra and thong.

I completely agree about the bra, and Kristina's outfit - that was a top look? The big stripes on the half-kimono thing were not attractive at all, kind of circus-y to me.
I loved the hair styles, and how they featured the black hairstylists. Very cool! I recently read that black women face discrimination at work about their hair at far higher rates than anyone else. They're more likely to be told to change their hair, not wear it a certain way, straighten it, that it is unsanitary, etc., and are less likely to be hired if they wear their hair more "naturally" than not, and there is also hair discrimination in schools! I couldn't believe that when I read it! And it's not just women. Some states have introduced a "Crown Act" to make such discrimination illegal. I signed the petition! I couldn't imagine someone telling me how to wear my hair at work, and it's so unfair that this is happening to some people.
Anyway, I really dislike one day challenges, because they just don't have the time to do good work. None of the looks in this episode were all that great. Aaron shouldn't have gone home, in my opinion, since they really did like his coat and it complemented the hair (they agreed). Coral's look didn't fulfill the challenge, and it was a mess. She should've gone home this time. She seems to struggle a lot, and Aaron has been in the top a LOT.
I didn't really care for the winning look, but I understood how it matched the hair (which was cool), and was more of a "runway look" because it was striking. The fabric pattern wasn't my favorite, I didn't like the slashes in the stomach area and then especially not once she added sequins to them! The back was cute, as the model was walking down the runway and we could see her from the back.
Precious' chest was just too distracting - was there going to be a nip slip? Does she have nips? Where were they? Was that not sheer fabric maybe? But yes, it was a Christian product:
