All the screeching for Applebee's. Our local one is a complete trainwreck, I won't eat there. Should be a good immunity challenge...

Jonathan is a BEAST. His group gets to eat the Applebee's, the other group gets one little serving of rice. Rocksroy banished for two days but gets an advantage.

They got Applebee’s in Fiji? 😂 We went to Aruba a few years ago and saw a KFC and a Taco Bell.

I love their food, but have quit going there because of the bad service and all their problems over the years. The challenge looked tough! It sounds like they did end up doing a few changes with the hourglass thing compared to last season, but maybe getting rid of it all together would be better....

Rocksroy is entertaining as he explains all he's doing during his exiled "camp" time: "See? That's why you test it!" as his branch breaks. I didn't know he had a vision issue! Nice how he's appreciating the views and where he's at. The comment about a bored wife nagging him didn't sound so great, though. Tori's annoying, as usual, tonight.

Yeah I was liking Rocksroy a bit until he commented about no kids and no nagging wife ruining his island time. Dude. Mike and Jonathan, the Big Guy Alliance...I like it.

Chanelle didn't come clean to Omar about risking her vote, then not having a vote - which means he doesn't either. The decent thing to do would be to tell him, so he knows he doesn't have a vote. But no, she doesn't say anything. It's a good thing Hai warned him.
The conversation between Romeo and Hai was awesome. Nice to see this perspective.

Rocksroy smashed the hourglass, taking immunity away from the winners. Tori is mad, and tries to say they sent him as a FAVOR to him, to HELP him! Yeah, right.... Rocksroy says at least they got to eat, so should have energy and can now go compete.

Lydia is voted out. I was neutral on her, so...meh. Jonathan better start winning individual immunity, these trifling ass people will turn on him in a second.

Omar, without even a vote this time, got enough people swayed to vote Lydia off somehow. Wow, kudos to him!
Hai has been getting a LOT of airtime. Could he be next, or be in the finals perhaps?

I didn't know tonight was two hours. We found out quite a bit about everyone though. Rocksroy did well alone on the island, I didn't know he had vision problems, I'm glad he drank it all in. My favorites are still okay. . Dre, who flipping guessed the advantage, and the other 7. Mike and Jonathan and Hai are in that alliance. I love Jonathan, he's not just a big body, but he'll always have a target on him. We knew Tori would win immunity, who didn't. Jeff is right, the immunity necklace is badass..lol. Dre is from Montreal isn't she, she's positioned herself well, but she doesn't like Maryann. Lydia going home, I was neutral on her, she enjoyed herself..damn this season is good. Romeo wants to feel accepted for being gay, don't talk about the guys with strength, accept them for what they are..just sayin

Yeah I was liking Rocksroy a bit until he commented about no kids and no nagging wife ruining his island time. Dude. Mike and Jonathan, the Big Guy Alliance...I like it. "no bored wife nagging me". Can we say divorce. Rosksroy is clueless about what comes out of his mouth. He will be crawling to apologize for that comment. He comes across as a total know-it-all and misogynist.

Rocksroy says at least they got to eat, so should have energy and can now go compete. Oh, I didn't realize that only Tori had the power to send Rocksroy to exile. I really wished he snapped back at her or at least told her he was gifting her in turn.

Is Omar gay? It was not discussed but they way he joined Hai and Romeo after their big conversation that was the impression I got. The theme of this episode seemed very LGBQ driven with a lot of confessionals from Hai and Romeo and later Omar (is he?). I personally wanted the Meat Shield gone. Shocker, Hai voted out his number one ally in the game. Why? Oh, my gosh Omar blossomed the last 30 minutes.

I still don't like anyone.
The game got exciting.
Who wants to bet the Two Targets, Tori and Chanelle make it to the end of the game?
Was anyone else confused as to who was doing what to who especially after the vote was revealed?

Resetting history is not a hard decision. Smash that hourglass. It is better to be safe for the current round than worry about being voted out.
Seriously, your choice is being guaranteed safe at Tribal Council vs having a one in six chance of being voted out, which would you choose.

I really enjoyed this episode. I think every merge episode should be 2 hours. Although I don't like the hourglass twist, I wasn't as upset about it this time around because I knew what to expect. I was prepared for it. I have not been a big fan of Rocksroy but he is starting to grow on me a little. I think he did a good job with his reaction to the Swati blindside and i got a little emotional with his clip at exile island.
There are so many characters on this season that I really like a lot. But for me the MVP of the episode was definitely Omar. He directed the vote in the way he wanted to go without even having a vote himself. Very impressive. I was surprised that Hai voted for Lydia but i dont think he had much of a choice he didnt have the numbers to save her and he had to be flexible with his alliance. Hai was the only person that was really super tight with Lydia. She was expendable to everyone else out there.
I feel like Tori and Chanelle are hanging onto this game by a thread. Especially Chanelle. I dont have high hopes for her at all, she would have been voted out 100% if Rocksroy didnt break the hourglass. No one trusts her
I didn't dislike Lydia but I was fine with her going. I would have been much more upset if Jonathan was voted out as a result of the hourglass twist. I have enjoyed this season a lot more than season 41 and I think this merge looks very promising. There are so many interesting characters and so many players that I like.

I don't mind the hourglass twist. I thoroughly enjoyed it the first time it was used and because season 41 and 42 were filmed back to back this would be the only time where the hourglass twist could be used. I totally appreciate that Survivor has tried new twists over the years and does it so the game is not predictable. The entire game has become one where you have to adapt to new circumstances very quickly or be eliminated. Adapting to change is something humans have difficulty doing so it is fun to watch.

I don't like the hourglass twist. Not a fan of taking away something awarded. And I don't like when its a big group and so few people are eligible to vote for. That said - I am enjoying this season and did enjoy last night's episode. I have several favorites. And I am hoping that while I didn't want Lydia gone there really wasn't anyone eligible a really wanted gone anyway so eh. Im hoping Lydia being gone is good for Hai in that a lot of people like him and now the whole "break up the pair" target of them is gone so now he is likable but not a threat and makes it to the end.
