The only guy I see a strong attraction to is Garrett. I think she picked him on Day 1, and the rest became also-rans right then and there. There are a number of them she has fun with & likes, but I see no connection whatsoever with any of those guys. She's zoned in on Garrett. The rest are just filling time.
For me, I'm just not all that fond of any of them. Sure, there are some good decent guys, but no one stands out to the point where I'd like to see as Bachelor. I suppose if they pick a good decent guy I'll watch, but not with much interest. The only one I'd look forward to is Colton, simply because he's really nice to look at too.
I'm not getting the Blake love that's going on here. Once again, he seems like a good decent guy, but definitely no standout. Kind of bland & not a stand out. Plus, like many of the others, he has weird hair. I sometimes wonder if other people are seeing the same show as I am, and wonder if I walked out of the room & missed something.
I agree with what others here are saying about this season. Becca just isn't much fun, and she just doesn't seem to be having much fun with this. I get the feeling she just wants this over with. She's picked her winner & wants this done. She seems sullen so much of the time. Plus, this is a Bargain Basement season. It just doesn't leave me looking forward to the next week's show. Drama & conflict between the contestants isn't what I want to see. I want to see people laughing, enjoying themselves, having fun, guys bonding & enjoying each other's company, locations overseas that are exciting to go to & see. You can always tell a season where the guys loved the travel & adventure. This isn't one of them. Maybe I just like living in a Disney-fied world where everything is happy, fun & adventurous. I think Fleiss & I have different ideas of what people want to see.
As I said somewhere before, we all have different tastes & preferences.

I agree about Becca. She's so dramatic...in a bad way. It seems every group date or 2 on 1 takes soooo much out of her. Really? I like Blake and Jason. Heck, I wouldn't mind if Jason were the next Bachelor. I don't watch BIP. Is Jason going to be on it this season? If so, he won't even be considered for the next Bachelor.I don't know if he is, just remember Nick was on BIP, and ended up as the bachelor... Oh yes, Becca is always emotionally drained, good lord..

Of course, I don't know this for the gospel, but it seems pretty obvious by now that they bring on some pretty some strong "filler" people for the purpose of ratcheting up the conflict and drama in the house. (They have a pretty good idea of the leaders' preferences, etc., and they feel confident these drama "filler" people won't be selected as F1. The only time this backfired on them was when Bachelor Jake chose house conflict, Vienna, who none of the other girls liked. This was NOT what the producers had in mind!!)
The point is that when they bring in and provoke too much conflict for the safe of drama, they are doing so at the risk of their lead. Some leads can shuck it off and go on, but Becca is having a harder time with this more contentious group. She went in extremely bruised; the producers knew this, and they didn't give her any slack at all. It was as if it was, "If you can find love in the midst of all this, good."
A lot of this is on the producers. Jordan has given an interview, I guess to his hometown paper, where he has told a good bit. Yes, he is Jordan somewhat like we saw him, and yes he was egged on by the producers. He and David agreed that the producers set all of that up between them.
My guess on Chris? We saw the worst side of him - aided by the producers who are extremely good at manipulation - come out under ideal conditions.
My idea for the next Bachelor? If he isn't picked up by an NFL team, Clay. They have not had a Bachelor of color. He was kind and gentlemanly. I liked him and think he would be worth a consideration.

If Joe turns out to be a good guy on BIP, I would enjoy him as a Bachelor too. My first choice would be Clay (fully healed), or Joe if he is up for consideration due to a BIP (let's get to know him better deal).

Everyone loves Clay..so we will have to see, if they are ready for a man of colour to be the lead..I am. There has long, long been a call for a Bachelor of color, but the conditions weren't right. I understood each season from the time this first came up, why they were saying what they were saying as to why there wasn't a Bachelor of color that season or even why they chose a Bachelor not of color. However, this might be the season. The only suitable man of color to make it far enough recently beside Clay who could be considered is Will, and though I liked Will - and there was not one thing objectionable about him, I don't think Will is a strong enough character in personality and charisma to pull off the lead. He is very soft spoken - too soft spoken - and he isn't very out there in presence. Clay, on the other hand, had presence and charisma in spades. He was gentlemanly, kind, and he has the background to attract exactly the positive type of attention The Bachelor and producers want. Whether we can get him is something else.

Blake and Jason are both suitable, but I agree on a change. That said, I did a search on Google and ESPN and could not find any news where Clay had been picked up yet by an NFL team.
He played, I believe, and well for the the New Orleans Saint in 2016 but got hurt and was on the injured reserve list - or whatever they do to keep from cutting them while they are actually hurt - for the entire 2017 season. At the end when he was well, they let him go. That smarts, but then football is a lucrative business and an expensive proposition for the owners. They have to look at everything available around them, and go for what they think is best. He was well, so they cut him to go seek an opportunity elsewhere.
What he is up against is the fact that he was out an entire year, all the existing talent that has been playing right on along, and all the new college talent that has just entered the field this season in the Draft. The competition for a job is brutal!
It is sad, but the reality is that he might not find another team.....and he just may be available for the Bachelor.
Rashad Jennings, popular winner on DWTS, was in a similar position of being cut and looking for a new team. I never could find where he got picked up. Does anyone know?

You know! I did not like Rachel's Bryan. He had a bad rep coming in from another reality show; he physically bounced on her during the Meet and Greet, deep throat kissing her right off the bat, and almost immediately starting all the emotional stuff. I thought he was smarmy and insincere....his mother gave Rachel a whole ration during the Hometown visit, her family was only slightly better, and I would not have been a bit surprised if that one had not lasted in the real world very long. Many, many times the edit revealed something that later gave a clue as to possibly why a couple didn't make it. However, quite recently Rachel was spotted quietly consulting with some kind of wedding dress consultant. So there you go! It just goes to show that it is the lead and the lead's choice regardless of what the edit shows us or what we find out. Sometimes they make it, and sometimes they don't. I've never been comfortable with him either. There was just something about him. Now I think I know what that something is. JoJo's Jordan and Rachel's Bryan both reminded me of Andi's Josh! Oh Josh, what a prize he was. I don't know what Andi was thinking. I don't know if she was blinded by the life he could give her, or what the deal was there, but anyway, needless to say, it wasn't fair of me to compare, but I was doing it subconsciously! Actually I've really grown to like JoJo and Jordan a lot! So there's still hope for Bryan.

Huh, I just don't see Becca that way, so maybe it's me. I think she looks like a lot of fun! I'd like to hang out with her! But I also think she's super obvious when she doesn't care for someone (Jordan!), and isn't able to fake it very well, so I'm sure some of the guys share his feelings about her.

I hate this season more and more. I liked Becca much more at first, but now she seems so needy and overdramatic about every bump in the road. Without bumps in the road, there would be no show! Earth to Becca - you knew that going in! Why did she have to immediately get up and leave the table when Colton told her he's a virgin (and why was he so stupid as to allow himself to be manipulated into telling her, when he hadn't even told his personal friends and father? Dang, these people are dumb!) What was her little break all about? Complaining to the producers? Laughing?
Anyway, the outcome of this is so obvious that even the unspoiled can see it coming. Tia is coming back yet again (please make that annoying gaggle of witches go away) with something that will discourage Becca from choosing Colton, so he's out. Since there's always a home visit that goes bad, it's probably Jason's, and besides he's on thin ice with her already for not proclaiming his love. I don't think she's really as into Blake as she pretends to be (and who knows how that home visit will go now that he announced his mother was a slut on national TV). It's just that there needs to be someone to help convince the viewers that she's torn between two men, and Blake is the only likely candidate for that. So it was Garrett from the beginning, similar to Rachel with Bryan, and all the rest is just filler. They used to hide the F1 a little better.

Becca seems nice enough, but unless she's with her girlfriends, she can't carry this show...it becomes more apparent each week. The fact that someone is a virgin, is all this show talked about for nearly an hour..producer manipulation is getting worse. Shocking news about Colton! Becca have a think about what he just said, walk around, kill time. Really? Poor Jason, he wants to be honest, because she's a strong believer about being honest, then he got the stink eye from her..

She was pretty involved with Reality Steve for a while there, but they seem to be going their separate ways now. She tries to stay unspoiled, so I think her final four picks for this season were her own. But I get that she's not everyone's taste.

I would replay it to see but the first time was painful enough! It was more painful than watching Arie leave her for Lauren. There was so much judgment written on her face. I still can't get over it!
Anyway, regarding Clay... would it even be possible for him to be The Bachelor? Filming for the next season would start in late summer, early fall, correct? Well that coincides with football season.

There many have been much more, but to me the editing was showing that what there was between Colton and Becca from her point was physical and sensual at that. Notice she does not talk about her emotional feelings with him, but she does talk about how he looks and his muscles. She loves to touch him and be up close to him. It was all physical chemistry bordering on sexual. When he told her he was a virgin, I think it threw her for a complete loop. It may not have been the principle involved, but it was the idea connected with this Adonis she had as one of her favorite guys. She took a moment to gather her wits and to hear him out. When he said he was not waiting for marriage but for the right person and moment, she was ready to go ahead with him.

Evidently, the two of them have tweeted or somehow let it be known that she excused herself to go to the restroom. I don't know why after all these years the producers' shenanigans on this (1) caught me off guard and/or (2) should surprise me at all. I was troubled that Blake exposed his mother's indiscretion in front of 6 million viewers, especially considering we will most likely see her next week. I took no joy in that at all and would have felt better if he had just said something like, "My mother left when I was a Sophomore in HS. I knew nothing was happening until some other kids told me. It was very difficult on a kid to find out this way."
