Yes. A good challenge with everyone participating.
An unexpected winner.
Yes, a big move choice for elimination.
An unexpected win for elimination.
A huge twist for next week.
Lots of new scenes from the preview for next week.
Possible purge or mini challenge? Those are fun.

That car crashing challenge looked fun! I was surprised by who won, definitely. But good for Cayla! Some of them seemed to have trouble with their directions (L/R), and with hearing maybe too.
Isn't Alyssa just snotty?? Wow, she showed some of her true colors tonight. Yet the guy stayed so she could keep competing! And what was with that awkward phone call Leo had with his girlfriend? How embarrassing. But I'm glad he didn't leave, after being shamed and yelled at about it - just because she approached it so badly. I hope his business was okay when he got home though. Whenever that may be, because it wasn't tonight!
I'm excited to see what the changes are for next week. Do they always compete in teams, or is there an individual component sometimes?

Whenever that may be, because it wasn't tonight! I'm excited to see what the changes are for next week. Do they always compete in teams, or is there an individual component sometimes? The format of the competition varies depending on the theme of the season. Sometimes they stay with the team format, the partner format, the individual format, sometimes they mix it up. The Challenge very much like Survivor changes its format because they don't want the players to figure out the game and to best it. Many times players have completed challenges or eliminations not the way the game designers intended but it was not against the rules. I will not be surprised if the next step is a more individual challenge. It is fun for us as viewers as we can really see what strengths and weaknesses each person has. I can see Sarah and Tyson chomping at the bit jumping at the chance not to have to depend on partners. The problem is as the challenges and eliminations have shown the game designers like to throw in twists like spelling words backwards or including trivia. However I doubt the individual portion will last. The Challenge very much like The Amazing Race depends very much on working with a partner and within that format lies too much drama to ignore. I will not be surprised if the next twist will involve an individual component and maybe some kind of purge.

Can people please stop saying they are competing for $500,000.
I am pretty sure there will be one male and one female winner and that means $250,000 each.
Also Leo after taxes $500,000 is only $300,000 or $250,000 is only $150,000. You cannot help everyone with that amount. If you are smart invest it in your retirement fund.

Another great episode. Loved the challenge of the cars popping balloons. The host laugh cracks me up!
Love Cayla from BB - so happy for her to win one! She is definitely someone I am rooting for.
Happy to see annoying Kyland go and don't know his partner so goodbye!
Good times for home viewers. Can't wait for next week!

Happy to see annoying Kyland go and don't know his partner so goodbye! Good times for home viewers. Can't wait for next week! Cayla is getting such a good edit on this show. When she was on the last season of The Amazing Race, Cayla and her partner, Rachel got such a bad edit and the fans here at FORT didn't like her much. Now Leo was on 3 seasons of The Amazing Race and he could be so arrogant and obnoxious and I couldn't stand him. What was annoying was that Leo and his partner were incredible good at The Amazing Race and he had a pretty decent edit and except for swimming I think he could do very well in a Challenge final yet he has a really horrible edit on this show. Very glad to see Cayla win a daily challenge, and Cayla won that daily challenge, all Dom did is listen to her. Hope she goes far. I also hope Leo gets into the final and does well.

I definitely loved both Cayla and Rachel last season on AR! I occasionally don't agree with the larger FORT consensus; its possibly I was in the minority on them though, I don't really remember.

I was OK with Team Holderness winning, I like that an "older" married couple won. I would have been OK with Cayla and Rachel winning. While I did like Ryan and Dusty, loved their story, I just felt as an all male team they had an unfair advantage over the other two teams and I have seen too many physically fit all guy teams win that I will automatically root for anyone else.

I was happy with a Holderness win, but I've seen one too many of their cutesy videos so no longer a fan.

I was happy with a Holderness win, but I've seen one too many of their cutesy videos so no longer a fan. I was a medium fan before their AR time, then briefly a big fan during and immediately after, and now losing interest in them. I feel they are going for quantity of videos over quality. They are still adorable so wish them all the awesomeness of life but I can't watch allllllllll those videos.

Season 1 Episode 7 - "State Of The Unions" - August 17, 2022
Alyssa & Leo Questions: 1. How many stripes on the USA flag - 13 2. How many studio albums does Adele have - 5 - 8 - 4 (the answers given) - correct answer is 4 3. First number in Pi - 3 4. How many lives does a cat have - 9 5. How many kids does Angelina Jolie have - 6 6. How many senses does a human have - 5
Kyra & Kyland Questions: 1. How many dimes in 5 dollars - 50 2. How many times has Madonna been married - 6 - 7 (answers given) - correct answer is 2 3. How many times can you divide 144 by 12 - 12 4. How many is a bakers dozen - 13 5. How many Spice Girls - 5 6. How many stomachs does a cow have - 4 - 6 (answers given) - correct answer is 4
Comments by fans on other some podcasts have them upset how unfair it was that Kyland had such hard questions compared to Leo. Someone mentioned that production gave the players the choice which color they wanted and Alyssa picked yellow.
The trivia questions were a mix of common knowledge and pop/music knowledge.
Kyland actually did well on all the questions except for how many times Madonna was married.
Per Tyson (podcast) Kyland started changing the number of cow stomachs and questioning if a bakers dozen was not 13.
Leo and Alyssa got stuck on the number of albums Adele had done.
Per Tyson Alyssa and Leo did the first 3 questions really quickly before Alyssa gassed out and before Kyland and Kyra had even completed their first question. Both girls gassed out early but were able to recover and continued.
There were approximately 18 medicine balls chained up and only 6 questions.
Per Tyson and I agree with this type of game is that you need to go with your gut on the ones you are guessing and not change them up later as you may be changing correct answers for incorrect ones.
The best strategy is to see what numbers are left and devise a plan any go with it. For instant if you have some remaining medicine balls with numbers such as 26 or 32 that would be a ridiculous answer for either number of albums or number of marriages. For both Madonna marriages and the number of Adele albums I was thinking 3 to 4 for both questions. If the rules state that there are no duplicate answers or from examining the remaining medicine balls there are no duplicate numbers that solves that questions right there. You also need to pick reasonable numbers from the remaining medicine balls.
Example: 18 medicine balls - 5 questions answered = 13 medicine balls left. Look as the numbers remaining. Look at the questions: number of albums Adele has done? Of that pool of 13 medicine balls what group of numbers make sense for the answer. Adele has been around 10 years of so. So potentially 10 albums. What numbers fit that criteria from the pool of 13 medicine balls. Then apply logic as to what numbers make sense and then try the numbers in place and ask for a check. Putting in random numbers works for Kailah (Challenge All Stars 3 - as she used that technique on at least three occasions during that season).
Comments from other podcasts stated that both teams should have both had the same questions to be fair, but if they did being that close there is the possibility the other team hears your answer.

Who Got The Money?
Alyssa - $12,500 Angela - $11,000 Ben - $1,000 Cashay - $7,500 Cayla - $7,000 Danny - $1,000 David - $7,000 Desi - $6,000 Domenick - $7,500 Enzo - $2,000 Justine - $8,000 Leo - $9,000 Sarah - $2,500 Tyson - $16,000
There are only four people left who have not qualified for the final.
Sarah has still not partnered with Ben that would potential be the only team with both partners that are not qualified to be in the final.
So going forward any team going into elimination at least one partner will be qualified to be in the final, some teams will have both partners that are qualified.
At this point the Money Alliance cannot protect itself by only throwing in people into elimination that do not have money.
Is this the point where individuals ask to be put into elimination. Will this cause problems for teams where only one partner needs the money and needs to go into elimination for the chance to win some money?

This is considered the halfway point of the Challenge. The previews for next week show new scenes. There is a Hall Brawl, and a hamster wheel, some kind of truck challenge, what looks like either the final or a mini final, Ben on the ground, David throwing up, and an ambulance. I know there will be some kind of pole wrestle as that was shown in the first set of trailers.
Next week's episode title is: "Independence Day".

That’s funny, because I knew the answers to all of the Kyland/Kyra questions except for how many stomachs does a cow have? I thought it was 3. There were two answers on the Alyssa/Leo questions I wasn’t sure about (stripes on the flag, which is embarrassing, & Adele’s albums). I think the questions were fairly distributed between the teams.

Having a partner hopefully would help especially with the music stuff. I learned the stripes on the flag one many years ago. The 13 stripes on the flag represent the original 13 colonies.
