It's Castle For Dummies. But I liked it. It was fun, interesting, and even a little exciting, the way Castle was back in the early days, before the show started taking themselves too seriously & decided to turn it dark instead of fun. Nothing groundbreaking or artsy-fartsy. Just entertaining. I like that. I'm seriously lacking in Summer shows. It's gotten to the point that the only shows I look forward to now are Dateline, 20/20, and 48 Hours. Well, those & Columbo repeats from waaaaay back in the day. I think I'll stick with this one through the Summer. It's the kind of show that if I have something to do & miss one, it's OK because the episodes are story inclusive.
The characters are all likable. That's important to me, although Rachel Bilson's character is a bit irritating, but I think that's the point. She's supposed to be. I think we have a winner, as far as I'm concerned.

I enjoyed it a lot. It's lighthearted and that's just how I like my murder mystery shows! Rachel's character cracked me up because of her cluelessness. I hope they continue to keep it lighthearted and snarky. I agree MissScarlet that its similar to Castle in the early good days.

Lighthearted is a good description for this show, and the two mains have some good chemistry. The episodes have way too many coincidences and lucky breaks, some of which we can see coming a mile away, but I still like it and find it an amusing way to spend an hour. I hope they don't cancel this one!
