I take that back. Maybe Wills shouldn't win. But I wouldn't mind if he were the next Bachelor. For the love of heaven, please eliminate Chris tonight. If she doesn't, then he is right.. She always looks so sullen to me.. Is this to be continued??

Becca has been dressed so beautifully at every Rose Ceremony. Gorgeous gowns, with tonight's selection being no exception. I remember that Arie gifted her with several beautiful gowns during their date on his season. Does anyone think she kept any of them?

Yeah, she and Wills seem more like friends, so it's okay if she lets him go eventually. But not before Chris!!! I'd be okay watching him be the Bachelor!
You mean Chris? "How dare she walk out. Doesn't she know what a great guy she'd be getting if she stuck around? I can't believe she doesn't want a rose from me!"

I know. Just pulling your leg. "You mean I'm supposed to spend alone time with them? They should be chasing me!"
Ah, geesh. He's still around.

I just spent a week in the hot Arizona sun. Watching that date in the desert really did not excite me.

Okay, since we were discussing her dresses, that final rose ceremony dress is weird. I loved the bottom, which we saw as she was walking, but then they panned up and there are two "seashell" type things on her bodice. Ruins the whole thing!
Looks like next week, Chris does himself in for good.

Becca punished Chris by picking him last. While I liked John and am sorry to see him go, he and Becca hadn't spent any time together

Watching now. I am so tired of two sentences, kiss, two sentences, kiss. All the "lines" are so old and tired. We've heard them all on previous shows. My interest is waning.
I understand it is a formula that has worked for all these seasons, but my goodness.

Well, it's Recap time once again for me. As a few others have said, the locations have been less than stellar so far. I hope they improve. Somehow I found this weeks episode extremely predictable. Why do people always have to say "baby" after Vegas? It makes no sense to me. Is this some kind of reference to a movie or something? All I know is that I hear it all the time & it irritates me. It sounds stupid. I like Colton. He seems like such a nice guy & is a real cutie. I liked the Camel Date. I'd like to do that, although seeing that I've never ridden a horse, I'd probably fall off. Having Wayne Newton there was kind of cool. He really is a Las Vegas fixture more than anyone else. I looked it up. He's 76. I thought he'd be older. He seems like he's been around forever. Another "write a song" date. Why do TPTB think this is a good idea. It's a stupid one. Although, the guys did seem to have some fun with it. I guess you work with what you're given. Yeah, she's crazy about Garrett. It's so obvious. Darned if I know why. I'm not impressed, but she glommed onto him the first night & put on blinders. David went out of his way to bait & torment Jordan. Once again he spent his alone time with Becca, trashing Jordan. It really was a bad look for him. Good riddance. She made the right decision sending him home first. Of the two, I prefer Jordan. As she said, he was at least fun. Jordan had his chance on the second half of the date. He shot himself in the foot with his conceited self. The guys jumping around about Jordan leaving was funny. At first I was wondering who their next victim would be with Jordan gone, but it looks like they already picked one - Chris. Chris is still there, but he's Dead Man Walking. Bye Bye sweet John. He's way too normal for this show. Next week looks like a major downer. But will I be there? Yep! It's been quite a while since I've watched a whole season. I'm enjoying making fun of it. Are they even going to foreign countries this season?

IMO...you know, if Leo would cut his hair and shave, he would be very handsome. "Shave and a haircut 10 cents"

I love his long hair. He’s the only one I find attractive!

I don't know why Leo is still there. It seems that he could be interesting, but I've seen no conversation or real attraction between them. Hope there's at least a 1-1 date or some way to give them time together before she dumps him.
Actually found myself feeling some sympathy for Jordan. He had a tough childhood, grew up finding some way to feel good about himself despite the bad treatment, and that was with his looks. That's all he thinks he has to offer, but actually there could be a very sensitive soul underneath that would also be attractive if he let it out. His looks and his career are his protective armor and way of relating to the world. He needs therapy. I think everyone needs therapy, just some more than others.
The whole problem with Chris was that he thought he did so well with his song and that Becca was so attracted to him that SHE should have sought HIM out at the group date cocktail party. So when she didn't, he got his feelings all hurt and felt rejected. It really wasn't complicated. All he had to do was ask her for some time in the first place, just like everyone else did and always does on this show. If you want private time with the lead on a group date or cocktail party, you ask for it. You make the move. His ego got the best of him. He thought he had it in the bag. All he had to do at the rose ceremony cocktail party was tell her nicely he was disappointed that she gave out the rose before he had a chance to take her aside to talk but that he was glad they had a chance to talk now so he could tell her how much he cares, blah blah blah. Instead, they blew it up into a major drama. This is what I dislike most about this show -- mountains out of molehills. I guess if people acted sensible and mature and kept things in perspective, there would be no entertainment value in that.
So far I'm a Blake fan. Seems like a nice, genuine guy and good husband material.

It's all about the editing, and how they want to present and tell the storyline they have crafted. Therefore, we see certain people portrayed in certain ways, and others people portrayed in other ways. All will later say that, "Yes, I said that, but not necessarily in that context," or something similar.
It was interesting....yesterday, I read an interview on Mike, the blond, long hair bun quiet guy who was on for 4 episodes. We never heard anything from him. We wondered how he managed to stay on so long. What did she see in him? Did she even talk with him? One of the first things he said was that they all got about 20 minutes with her the first night. I didn't know that after all these years. This leads me to believe that in spite of what we see, she is spending more time than we know with them, and she makes these decisions based on things we often don't see. The sleuthers learned they have conversations on religion, etc., we never see for instance.
We never saw David have a conversation with her in which he wasn't harping on Jordan, but realistically that most likely isn't true. That is David's storyline, and that is the way they wanted to edit him.
Likewise, yes, we could see Jordan's insecurities last night - and finally last night because of his upbringing why - but focusing on himself and defending himself constantly to Becca at the sole expense of trying to win her was most likely not the case. What we saw was Jordan's storyline. It was irritating and thus entertaining.
We need drama to propel the show, or it would be boring. David, Jordan, and Chris are the irritants - they are edited as the irritants. That is their storyline. They are providing the drama.
They did and said this stuff, but the producers and editors have exploited it.

I agree bloomers, but this editing or drama, is the same every season. It's gotten so predicable, we all knew David/Jordan would go on the 2-1 date...it's why they were kept. They need to change things up a little..

Somewhere along the line I read that they get a good idea of who the lead's top four picks are after the meet and greet, so the rest are kept for dramatic effect, entertainment, and padding. They are conveniently used and discarded along the way.
