I’m irritated by Shangela’s scores. There should be more than 2 points between Sam and Shangela.
I’m glad Sam got more points than last week, but if they are raising his scores, they need to raise other scores, too.

I must say…. That hair and makeup look really good on Tyra! The dress not so much. 😬
LOL at Alphonso’s James Brown comment. So funny and so true!

Sorry, I hate Tyra's hair. It looks like it's just shellacked down. Clearly, the wardrobe department still hates her. They've continued putting her in deeply odd and unflattering garments. I was thinking at one point in the episode, "Hey, it seems like Alfonso is kind of evening out Tyra. She's not as bad as she's been." Then she started crowing to Trevor and Emma, "Get a room!" While Sasha, her very recently soon-to-be ex-husband is in the room. No class I do still find her so grating. It's like she's performing the acting role of host instead of just being a person on camera. I didn't like her on ANTM either, but it was her show, so at least she was speaking with some authority. Plus, we often only saw her at the very end during judging. I know we always have discussions about ringers, but I don't think we've ever had someone who's this much of a ringer as Charli. I mean, they can't cast a bunch of people who have zero rhythm. They've always cast a range of abilities and, really, many people in show business have had a little dance training, even if it was for a role or as a little kid. Charli's training and experience go far beyond that. Heck, she danced with Derek in that TV special about dancing in the movies. Her experience, combined with her millions of sm followers makes it feel very much like she's been brought in to win. I just don't find her that appealing. The fact that she's dancing with Mark only accentuates that. I actually read a blind item about Charli that said she was promised top 4 and that they cast her to bring in younger viewers. It wouldn't surprise me.
Wayne Brady: "Too bad. TV, sucka!"
They were less fussy about time this week with respect to the judges' comments, but they wasted all that time on clips packages of Elvis. I mean, who doesn't know that stuff? They can go watch the movie if they don't!
Glad Len saved Cheryl. I'd much rather watch her than Teresa. Plus, it keeps Louis around for another week!
I'm amazed at how well Selma did tonight! It was a slower jive, but I was really impressed. You could see how much it took out of her when she was speaking to Alfonso. SMG tearing up in the audience got me emotional too. I love that friendship.

Agreed on Charli being a ringer and Tyra being insufferable! I, too, was glad that Len kept Cheryl.

First time able to watch LIVE!!! I even text voted. First time I've seen Tyra hosting. I must admit I catnapped through a few dances; but I couldn't help but notice Tyra's thick thighs vs. the female dancers. I would have expected thinner. Anyway...Selma pushed herself to exhaustion, but did a lovely job. Glad Teresa is gone - no rhythm.
I'll have to try this again next week.
