Monday - Twelve men find themselves vying for only seven roses; one man finds an unexpected spark in a new arrival; Jesse Palmer arrives to drop a bombshell announcement that divides the beach like never before.
Tuesday - The women pack their bags and prepare for an uncertain future; five new beach babes dive right in to get to know the men; a wet-and-wild pool party kicks off the first night at the beach.
Enjoy the shows!

Peter Pizza-boy is such a jerk, going on the offensive because the girl rejected him. Casey had to mention it to Brittany, saying he didn't say it to make things worse. He probably was convinced to do it by production. He gets dizzy while watching the girls put Peter "on blast" and passes out! He is in ITMs talking about it, so he's okay, obviously. (ETA: he must have hurt his ankle as he fell, because they took him away for the ankle injury, in an ambulance.)
Even though it was set-up drama, I had to kind of root for the girls who were attacking him and defending Brittany. But Andrew lost a few points with me when Brittany first found out and told Andrew, and Andrew tried to downplay it and told her to "calm down." NEVER a good idea, Andrew! He seemed more concerned on who told her, and then shook his head about Casey -- instead of directing the disgust where it truly belonged.
Some of the guys approached Peter to ask him to leave; he says he's not leaving on anyone else's terms, only his own, then proceeds to leave. And shouts an ad for his pizza on the way out. He tells us that he wasn't attracted to anyone there, and if he's not physically attracted to you he can't EVEN look at you. ugh. What a pig. Buh-bye!
Andrew gets Brittany alone and he's still good in her book, as they make out before the rose ceremony.

Thank goodness Ashley and Jared are finally gone!!!
The guys are in survival mode fighting for those roses. Logan and James are vying for Shanae. She loves it. I don't see chemistry with either one.
Casey told Brittany about the pizza guy bad mouthing her and they had words. He is accusing her of not wanting him because he didn't have enough followers. Much harder to accept she just thought he was a jerk. They have words and Jill has to stick her nose in and then Casey is on the ground. They said he had a seizure, but then in the ambulance we see his ankle is busted. Maybe when he fell? He did look out of it. I work with people who seizure and some of them look just like that when they are coming out of it. Sadly we say goodbye to Casey. Thankfully pizza guy leaves on his own because no women there is interested in him up to his standards.

Michael is looking for a miracle...ask and you shell receive. Here comes Danielle from Nick's season. They seem to know one another? What? She is friends with Wells and he thinks they are perfect for one another. Michael and her have spoken before, but never met in person. Michael seems smitten. He is a little awkward and blushing and is not wasting any time. Yay!!!

Danielle gets the date card and naturally she asks Michael. Logan thinks they might be the next Ashley and Jared. Not even close...thank goodness. They are two mature people, although she is very giddy. They are kind of goofy together. He is starting to be in his head again.

I don't know ... too convenient for me, and such a shame that he used Sierra to stay on the beach until Danielle came down. They're obviously there for each other, and poor Sierra gave him the stars, thinking their connection was off to a good start!
Yeah, they have similar pasts, are both "nice" people (at least according to Wells -- who, btw, dated Danielle didn't he?), and communicated before the show quite a bit it sounds like. But that doesn't mean in person they'll have chemistry, so we've got to endure all the questioning, Michael wondering if he can do this, if he's ready, blah blah blah. I'm not on board. Besides, Danielle's voice bothers me.
Guess I will look forward to the Casa Amour twist coming up, since I'm completely uninterested in any of these relationships outside of Brandon and Serene.

I hope they show us more of this relationship than they have of Brandon and Serene, but this is the one that I have really been looking forward to. These two are just more complex and interesting.

I don't know, maybe I'm not as cynical as you or as much as I think I am, but I don't think he knew Danielle was coming and I think he did like Sierra, but she was too young. I like what he just said...at this point in his life he can only be with someone who is scarred like he is...has that life experience. I am buying them. Quick, slap some sense into me!!!

Wow, the original girls are not handling this well!! Lots of tears, anger, and pity parties. I get it, they're threatened because their "relationships" are so new.
But they keep talking about this "week" and I heard it's only one night/two days!! On Love Island, I think they're gone for three nights!
I like some of these new girls, from their previous seasons. At least they're more interesting than Luce and Shanae!

Yeah. Clearly a pretty serious break!
I’m sad for Casey because that really sucks, and sad for us because he was such a fun narrator and I’ll miss him!

I don't know ... too convenient for me, and such a shame that he used Sierra to stay on the beach until Danielle came down. They're obviously there for each other, and poor Sierra gave him the stars, thinking their connection was off to a good start! I think this is WAY different from, say, Brendan and Pieper last season. They planned ahead of time and he strung Natasha along, knowing Pieper was coming to the beach and then dumped Nat as soon as Pieper showed up. THAT is not okay. Bach world is very incestuous and MANY of these people have communicated/met/hooked up before actually going on BIP. It just happens.
I think Michael genuinely liked Sierra, but when it came down to seeing her as a partner long-term, he realized she wasn't the right one. His comments tonight made it clear that he needs someone with more life experience. That doesn't mean he used Sierra. I think he just realized that, as much as he did like her, he needed things in a partner that she doesn't have.
I've been waiting for Danielle to show up since I heard she'd been cast! I always loved her and was sort of bummed that she and Wells didn't get together. If she and Michael end up together, I'll be so happy for them. I think they're both really nice people who've been through terrible experiences. They both deserve happiness. I did like her hair shorter, but she still looks stunning.
This whole thing of sending the OG women away smacks of Love Island. Didn't they do something similar on that show? IIRC, they sent the guys away where they met new women. It stinks and it's manipulative, but it's TV. How can you go on one of these shows and not expect the producers to mess with you?
Not sorry to see Peter leave. That was very much, "You can't fire me - I quit!" Did he forget they filmed that date where he yammered on about himself the whole time? No class.
I'm sorry to see Casey go, but I don't think he was going to get a rose anyway.

I totally agree with you Critical. I don't think Michael knew Danielle was coming. Just the way he reacted. He's not that good an actor. She on the other hand, I think knew he would be there. I also don't think he used Sierra despite how she is reacting on SM. It is convenient...for tptb. They are master manipulators and set it all up, but that is not on him. He liked her and what is there not to like, but she was too young and he figured that out and let her go as soon as he did. I loved the conversation between him and Danielle last night. So much more pleasant listening to two adults having a real conversation. I really want to see how they develop.
Here we go again...old girls are still crying, whining and the new ones are making out.
I love Rodney. He is so cute and nervous around Eliza. They make a cute couple. So much better than Lace.
Michael and Danielle are back from their date and about to get a surprise!

Finally the whiney women get some guys of their own and miraculously the tears are gone as soon as the clothes come off in the pool.

So I'm just getting to watch last night's show. While I'm happy for Michael and Danielle and totally hope they end up together, I find the whole transition from Sierra to Danielle a bit questionable.
I think Michael is a show favorite (both of the producers and of the fans), and I suspect that he knew (or at least strongly hoped) that Danielle was going to be coming. I think he liked Sierra, and I don't know if he was using her exactly, but I would be very surprised if producers or Wells or someone didn't give him a heads up that Danielle was coming soon and he'd better end things with Sierra well before she came to avoid a repeat of the Brendon-Natasha situation.
The last thing they want is for their golden boy's potential happy ending to be tainted by the type of controversy that occurred last year, though that's happening a bit this year anyway. Sierra was not happy watching the show last night and didn't hesitate to tweet about it.

I don't have a Twitter account, MissGriss. What did Sierra have to say? I run hot and cold on Michael. While his young wife's death was tragic, and fairly recent, sometimes I think he's milking the tragedy. For what, I don't know. D list fame? A chance to be the Bachelor? Although now that ship has seemed to sail. I mean, he did not hesitate to leave his young son to appear on Bachelorette Katie's season. I don't believe he left because he missed his son. I mean, I am sure that he did, but I think he just wasn't that into Katie. Nevertheless, I do wish him well and hope he finds his person, if that's truly what he wants.

Those OG women are just too much, they're wearing me out! Stop the crying and moping, sheesh. You'll survive!! The guys they got seem like decent, fun guys, so at least hang out and enjoy each other a little. I felt bad for the guys! It was too much of a Shanae show tonight for me; I really don't care for her, and she and Tyler's date was weird. She's fine with Logan, because I don't care much about him either, so they can ride off into the sunset for all I care! LOL Lace getting to go back to the beach early was ridiculous, and how she reacted to the other guys was awful, accusing them of coming at her and getting defensive. Of course she arrives right before Rodney comes back from his great date; this show manipulates their cast constantly, and Lace should know this. I almost felt bad for her. I do like Rodney with Eliza, they seem happy when they're with each other! He and Lace never really seemed like a match to me. Funny how Michael and Danielle were spared from the split. Kate and Jacob are a strange pair; her voice is really annoying with that vocal fry! Jill is going to be a puddle when she finds out what he's done. Uh oh. I don't get the appeal, he's just the hair, to me. Andrew is rapidly falling off my Favorites list. Classic example of being disappointed the more we get to know somebody.... I actually wanted to see him as Bachelor! But now some of his comments and reactions are just disappointing to me. And Brittany's apparently trying to jump ship to Tyler (in the previews), so maybe she realized he falls a little short too! Or, that Tyler is just so great. Andrew's still cute, and he's not an awful guy, but I'm still crossing him off my list. I want to see more of Alex! And Olu(?)!

Apparently, Wells tweeted (and then deleted) that he had told Michael that Danielle was coming, but it sounds like that happened during their convo at the bar when Wells told him to keep the faith.
It's that old adage about getting over one man by getting under another one

Genevieve saying that the guys are going to be talking to the new girls about deep stuff Are they though? Logan rehabbed his image a bit....just in time to tank it again by drooling over the new girls. We'll see if he reverts to type or rises above. If he throws Shanae over for one the new girls, I hope she pairs up with one of the new guys.

Eastcoastmom, I don’t have Twitter either. I only saw what was quoted in recaps. Basically, Sierra said something like “I feel so disrespected. I’m gonna go meditate. ” I think there might have been other tweets as well. Regarding Logan.…. I don’t remember why, but I liked him on the B’ette. But I’m beginning to think there’s no “there” there.

I was just reading Reality Steve's recap of Monday's show, and here are several tweets of Sierra's that he included. She's clearly not a happy camper, and I don't blame her. RS had more that was interesting to say on the subject, but his post also involved spoilers, so read at your own risk. Attachments:

The thing is, she can be upset, but this is (mostly) not on Michael. She should be directing that at the producers of the show, who are master manipulators. She signed the contract, which basically says they can edit you however they want and manipulate things however they want. Like I said, she can be upset all she wants, but she's naive if she doesn't realize that this is what she signed up for. They're not matchmakers - they're making drama-filled and messy reality TV. The producers don't really care about any of these people - they just want ratings.

I think Michael should just have been honest with Sierra that he really needs a woman who has had similar major life experiences to his -i.e, trauma and grief and struggling to recover. She couldn't feel disrespected if he had done that, and the fact that he said he needs a woman with scars shows he knew why Sierra wasn't right for him. Instead, he made it sound like he just wasn't ready for a serious relationship at all, and then we see him jump at the chance to pursue Danielle. I don't know why I expect anyone on this show to be honest -- except that I'm big on honesty -- but Michael seems more honest and self-aware than the others.

I don't know why I expect anyone on this show to be honest -- except that I'm big on honesty -- but Michael seems more honest and self-aware than the others. From what he has said post show is that he expressed himself poorly and he was trying to figure out if it was something missing or if he was just reverting to his pattern of putting up his guard and finding issues just to avoid a relationship. He did not know Danielle was coming and I think it was after Sierra left I feel for Sierra, because I do like her and she has been a class act...up until now. It is not Michael's fault that tptb are manipulative a**holes. He is in the same boat as her...at their mercy. He has clearly been set up to be a major player this year and they could have brought Danielle in earlier, but they decided not to. They wanted to screw with him as much as her. She needs to put the blame on them, not him.
