10/24-10/25 - BIP8 Show Discussion

This is what I was thinking, as it happened. Why/why not??? Those poor guys didn't even get to meet the other girls, see the beach, see Wells, etc.?? How crappy. 

I would sure like to get to know the Australian guy and that new woman (is she Australian too?), at least a little bit. I know they only have so much time, but we've barely heard them speak! I'm glad the guy got to stay.

Kate isn't gaining points with Sarah. Kate thought she was a friend.

This drunk clip with Gen and Shanae is embarrassingly funny. I don't like either of them, so did more laughing AT them, wow were they loaded!!

Did anyone else notice how dirty Kate's suit was on the back, when she was kissing/crawling on Logan? I noticed, because I really couldn't care less about these two, not getting swept up in their make out sesh. I wonder what she was doing to get so dirty?

 


On another note, I don't blame Victoria one bit for taking her shot with Alex. I'm not sure why he's still single after being on these shows, but he seems like a sweetheart, and is gorgeous. Definitely would choose him over Johnny!! 

This is Alex, one of the new guys the girls were introduced to. I can't remember what season he was on, but he is hot and nice. 

Storm Shanae is ready to blow. The real Shanae is back.

She thinks he is disrespectful...while she made out with other guys on the beach before the split, went on dates while separated...but heaven forbid he explores things with someone else. Then she says Kate shouldn't interrupt her and Logan, when she had walked away from him and Kate went to talk to her when she was alone.

Shanae is coocoo, but in this instance I found myself barely caring, and the tiny bit I did, I was on her side. Logan is a loser. Kate is icky. There is no good person in this entire triangle, so I guess I had slight hope for Shanae to get her happily ever after (haha) and be gone off our screen!

Speaking of an oddball, Jacob and his meditating and breathing moves are too much!! 

The girls were such sad sacks when they had to leave the beach, and the show is cruel to manipulate people like this. I don't like this twist at all, because it's messed up the flow, or vibe, of what was going on. The manufactured drama is no fun to watch, and this cast leaves a lot to be desired anyway. 

I like Alex's accent.    He and Victoria, though.... meh. 

The Australian guy seems like he could be interesting, so I hope someone on the beach takes a liking to him and we get to see him more. 

Andrew and Jessenia are together now? Brittany feels bad that she flirted with Tyler, so asks Andrew how they are and he doesn't really say much, so she says she's going to pursue Tyler. She and Andrew were just so new, when she left, so she doesn't feel tied to him.

I can't wait to see Serene and Brandon reunite, and that's about it. 

(Well, maybe a few more cheap shots of Alex's body, and THAT'S it.)

Overall, I like how they guys behaved much more than the women.

I liked how Andrew and Brittany ended things. I wish more were like that.

We have seen zero of Michael and Danielle, although he has been the narrator a lot.

Alex was on Rachel Lindsey's season. I don't remember much about him, buy holy moly he's smoking 🚬 🔥! Seems fairly intelligent too. Never heard a contestant use the word "archetype" in a conversation before.

Yeah. I can see how he might feel like he’s at a job interview being asked to state his qualifications, but the things Victoria is asking about are important things to discuss. Long-term compatibility is about more than just chemistry, and his thinking it’s premature to talk about important issues like kids, career goals, etc. seems to indicate a lack of maturity. (I do get that it feels awkward that Victoria’s only bringing it up now that someone else is in the picture.)

Wow! Kate is a piece of work! She was out-Shanaeing Shanae last night. That whole conversation they had where she said she was trying to talk things through like adults was really just her wanting to rub salt in the wounds. She is really manipulative and not at all likable.

I’m not a fan of z Shanae, but unless she went a lot more ballistic than they showed, I don’t know why everyone was talking so much sh$t about her. Granted, she did seem to have a double standard regarding her behavior vs. Logan’s, but Logan really was rubbing her face in it with his news relationship, and I don’t blame her for being pissed.
