Alex and Johnny fighting over Victoria who looks bored...like me.
RC she picks Johnny and he thinks he got rid of the competition but some random woman ... I think Florence from AU show ... picks Alex and Johnny is pissed. Victoria still looks bored. I have no doubt production told her to keep Alex since she wasn't interested in anyone and they need drama...even the fake variety.

Eliza is another one who I wonder about all her previous dates: did she go out with blind men??  She's loving this (new)attention, but I think she was unfair to Rodney. He was trying to be mature and reasonable, wanting her to be sure it was him she wanted and if she went out w/Justin and missed Rodney or confirmed her feelings for him, then they were as solid as he thought. He didn't want her to resent him later. But, she wanted him to lay a claim on her or something, tell her to not go, and no matter how he explained it, she took it as he "wanted" her to go out with someone else. Poor Rodney. She was being silly/immature, and I guess if she hasn't had a lot of experience with dating, this makes sense. I'd take the reasonable and sweet guy any time. Not that I would've gone out with Justin ... just sayin'!! Justin coming back was just too ridiculous. I like him and all, and am not Gen level appalled by it, but he should have stayed gone. Gen is just drama drama drama, holy cow. Aaron too, apparently. They are quite the match, and it's exhausting. Victoria and Johnny just confuse me. They don't seem like a match at all to me, but she says he feels like "home" to her, so she picked him. When Alex and his gorgeous face and body were RIGHT THERE! Now I am appalled. Shanae looks to be getting her cougar claws fitted tomorrow night. I'm so bored watching her and don't care one bit who she finds or if she falls in love. Ho hum. This season is just not much fun at all, and I think it's a combination of the casting and the production's manipulation. |

Navybelle I totally agree. Too many people who I don't like, actually...just too many people period! Not enough attention on the people who are serious couples. I truly don't know how Brandon and Serene fell for each other and how they are building this relationship. A little better with Michael and Danielle, but barely.
Then all the stupidity and dumb faces with Genevieve and Shanae. They are trying to force all this stupid drama, but have totally forgotten about the humour. The schtick with that woman and her suitcase was beyond stupid and yet Wells is proud of that! Don't even get me started of three days of Ashley and Jared. THREE BLOODY DAYS!!!

I agree with everything you have said, Navybelle. This season really is the pits; hardly anyone is even posting so maybe viewership is down. I don't agree with bringing Justin back. Production is cruel, and they just want to cause excessive drama by shaking things up. They pick and choose who they want to come back. I seriously doubt the contestants have much say. Eliza was being ridiculous and very immature. She wanted Rodney to tell her not to go on the date? Seriously? Who would want a boyfriend who would be that controlling? Of course Rodney would have preferred if Eliza had just said no on her own, but it's not his choice to make. Now they're bringing in the twins, who look 12. They sent Adam home for these babies? Oy! I'm watching out of habit but each season it gets worse and worse. |

I just got home and started the show late, as I eat a late dinner. And here we go again with someone saying they want their guy to tell them to not go on a date. Seems fishy to me, must be production I'm thinking. Kate is annoying as all get out. But it's funny to hear Hayden dig himself deeper on his date with Kate: reiterating that Gabby was rough around the edges (he didn't mean it derogatorily), then saying neither Gabby or Rachel was there for the right reasons. But, he's a really nice guy! She's annoying, but Kate's not dumb. She sees the red flags all over this guy. |

So far I've watched every week & been disappointed & bored every week.  I'm not invested in any of the couples & don't even care for the individuals all that much. Michael seems like the nicest & most down to earth guy there. I'm glad he seems to have found a nice gal. The show sure does like him. I've never seen such a positive edit for anyone in the franchise. When Danielle showed up, the music even changed noticeably. It was if the show had hired a choir of angels to herald her arrival. Once that happened it went back to boring & irritating people acting like children. The drama we're being shown is so obviously manufactured & phony. These people aren't in any way ready for marriage or even a serious relationship. Just airtime. I just don't care about who ends up together & who doesn't. At this point I just want it over. I'm only watching because, like any TV show, I want to see how it ends. If we get 1 or 2 real relationships out of this then great. Even if they are just temporary like usual. It's giving me something to fill my viewing time, during a slow TV show period. When this show started, years back, it was the fun, real, silly stepchild of the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise. We got real reactions, real personalities, & even some much needed awkwardness. I looked forward to this every week to laugh with & at their shenanigans. Now it all seems so phony. It's turned into a scripted & sometimes even mean, mess. And yet, I'm still watching, although I don't know why.   |

FYI (I found it interesting)
Just popping in during Survivor commercial to say Aaron last night was HORRIBLE. I am no fan of Genevieve, but wow, he was awful to her. She sent out a message saying yes she realizes guys need time with other guys too, but that she had just spent a week away from him and wanted some time. I was thinking it must have been something he's heard before (from other girlfriends?) to be that short-fused about the issue, because it was extremely overblown the way he reacted. She's a wreck, but he was rude and demeaning, and I wish she would've left because he deserved to be left alone after that.

I am glad Victoria didn't pick Alex. He is an adult and she is just one more drama queen who is decades behind him in maturity. An actual adult woman, one of which we never see on this show, is what he needs.Danielle maybe, but she's taken. No one else for him. Shanae, I was tired of her on the Bachelor, I am so over her on this show. She will just "do" anyone. The cougar date was ridiculous, but what else are they going to do with two male infants and two desperate older blondes? Are Brandon and Serene still here? Eliza is screwing up a good thing with Rodney, but he may be dodging a bullet because she is very immature and easily distracted by the next shiny thing.
Genevieve is a drama queen on steroids. I cannot stand her. Can Aaron do better? Not on this island. I do not see this lasting. There is potential for some couples to actually last past the plane ride home. If we see Michael on here again, then he's just out for the "fame" and truly needs counseling because he is not ready. Hated the Love island twist. Go Brandon and Serene!

On Sharleen Joynt's Dear Shandy recap that she does with her husband Andy, he said that he thinks Eliza wants to break up with Rodney and pursue things with Justin. But Rodney is super popular so she's saying all of this "you don't care about me" "I can't trust you" stuff to lay the groundwork to make it be OK for her to not choose him.
I think he might be right.
