I've noticed a problem predominately with my FOX affiliate. Good (at least in my opinion) shows that just disappear off the listings. I start getting into a show & all of a sudden it's just not there anymore with no warning. I have no idea why. They are announced as being renewed, but I can't find them anymore. If I can, it's one episode & then no more. I've been watching for Fantasy Island to return. I've been waiting for Monarch to return. Both seem to disappear except for an occasional fluke rerun. There are others, but these two are recent disappearances. It's an ongoing problem.
Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know why? Why don't they have the decency to let us know if it's cancelled? I could handle it just fine if these shows, and others, were gone for good, but I liked them & keep looking for them. It seems like other networks usually give us a heads up, but FOX seems to think we just won't notice. I do notice!

Fantasy Island has been back for about a month. It airs on Mondays at 8pm on Fox. Monarch was canceled. They did announce the cancellation. The show wasn't very popular (hence the cancellation), so it didn't get a ton of coverage.
You can look up any show on imdb and you'll usually find the air date of the next episode.
I have an app on my phone called TV Club that I use to keep track of the shows I watch. It tells me when new episodes will air.
